I am a 34 year old single Mom of a beautiful girl. Three years ago my 54 year old mother began the fight of her life. A simple surgery had gone bad and she almost died of sepcic. A perferation in her bowel. She spent 3 months in Intensive care and weighed 64lbs. She had to endure a painful journey with a colostomy bag. My mother was an angle. We were best friends. I watched her suffer horribly and that was just her horrible beginning. When her 6th surgery finally reversed her colostomy bag she was diagnose with stage 3 ovarian cancer. She fought like a warrior for 18mths. Chemo they said cured her. They missed a tumor in her back that would eventually kill her. She was my world and as she lye dieing, I was thrown another blow. I had lymes disease. I felt horrible and attributed it to depression. I quit my job of 8 years as a dental assistant to stay home and care for my mom and daughter. My ex accused me of being on drugs because i felt and looked horrible. Lost weight, couldnt get up in the mornings, couldnt think or make decisions. He took me thru a hell beyond hell. He kinapped our daughter and proceeded to rage a 3 month custody battle that my mother, daughter and self just didnt need. i spent the last few months of moms life in court, without my child and my mom died asking if Reanna was home yet. Sadly my gift from her from heaven ,the very day after she died, was the return of my daughter. My ex seemingly was playing a sick, vengeful game. He hurt my daughter, self and mother so much. Thankfully I regained full custody but the last 8 mnths i have lost everything. I am homeless living with my sis who isnt friendly to my daughter and so judgemental of me. People believe i should be over it. I am taking the steps to move forward but there small. I feel better and KNOW ILL BE OK. I want to show everyone that adversity can build mountains and thru this I will be a mother that has instilled values and morales in my daughter and person who is kind, generous, and giving even though so many people have blown my mind with judgment and assumptions. Alittle help to get started is all i need. If i could find a place to rent and skip the security or work to improve the apartment in exchange for a month free. Anything would help. Thank You and To all who struggle...... FULL STEAM AHEAD!!!!

I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

Hi we are the West family my husband was in a car accident that removed him from work and haulted our primary form of income we are past due with our rent, and soon to be put out of our apartment. We have a 2year old son and we cant lose him because of this. we recently took my husband's sister and brother in our household, they were living in California and there father had a mental issue and put them out on the streets with nowhere to go. So we had to send for them to come live with us. My brother in law is eighteen years of age and my sister in law is seventeen years old. Today marks a week overdue in rent and were at a loss, we dont know what to do. I have called the local places that's supposed to help with situations like this, and their mostly out of funds for the rest of the month or taking care of other bills at the time. Weve ran out of choices and this would be our last resort, all of us are in dying need of your help please help us pay our rent. The rent is $855.00 and the first day it went up $50.00 and every day after that was $15.00. We will be absolutely grateful if an angel was sent to help us, we desperately need some help.

I am a single mom (well Im not single I have a bf but he's in another state, now so basically all I have is a little emotiional support, which is the only thing keeping me strong) I have 2 great little boys, one suffers from some mental health issues(like me) and the other has Asthma (also from me) Both their Fathers are crap. Hi - My name is Cindy. I am seeking out people who are middle-class and being denied assistance by our govenment. I am looking forward to advice on how to turn my situation around. 

I am a single mom making $40k a year (which used to be considered good money). But, I receive no child support my son's father (literally nothing ever) and with the cost of daycare and everyday living expenses such as car pymt, gas, auto insurance & healthcare costs. I have had to move home with my parents!! At 34 yrs old!! And I still don't have a damned dollar in my pocket even now that I have moved back home! I have no healthcare plan for myself because I can't afford the additional premium. Therefore, coverage is only on my son...AND I STILL PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR MOST MEDICAL SUTUATIONS DUE TO THE PLAN HAVING A $1500 DEDUCT!! HA! I can't even cry about it anymore. Additionally, I pay taxes for no reason because I get paid "too much" to qualify for food stamps or any other form of gov't assistance (which I am embarrassed to say that I really need).

Hello to everyone!  I have been on a desperate search online today for any help that's out there, financially.  i am a 31 year old single mother, 2 children, ages 4 & 6.  I just relocated less than 3 months ago to get away from an alcoholic man who was beating my kids, and verbally abusing them. 

I had to get away, so I took a leap of faith with my tax return, got my first place to live on my own, but I still haven't found a job!  My money has run completely out, I have job applications in everywhere, 1/2 a tank of gas at this moment, $121 behind on my rent (which $125 will be due again on May 1st), My power is overdue, i can't afford childcare, their father is unemployed so he can't help, I have food stamps so i am not starving, My childen need new clothes (growing out of them and don't have much anyway)  and need an opportunity to make money or help.  I have 12 cents in my bank account, and nothing to sell except a sewing machine that I bought to mend our clothes if needed.  I don't have much at all, just a simple life.  My computer is an old borrowed one from my mom and dad.  They don't have much either so they can't help me.  I don't know what to do, and I refuse to resort to illegal activity of any kind!  i just want my children to have a decent life, and I want to be able to give that to them.  I feel like they aren't going to respect me if they see me fail.  All they have ever seen is me depend on someone else, and I want to be independent.

I have tried looking up loans, but you have to be employed to get that, and all of the home business "jobs" require start up money.  You can't tell what's legitimate anyway.  If anyone has any ideas, a job, money, opportunity, prayers, words of encouragement, clothes for a boy age 4, or a girl age 6, a car they would trade for my windstar van (too much on gas), anything to help please.  I just don't know what to do.

I am a 25 Yr old single mother of two. I have a daughter who is 3 and my son is 2. They dad is not in the picture, due to his abusiveness along side heavy drinking. The state in which we live in will not let us recieve any help right now because child support services has not yet found my childrens father. So we have everybill we owe due, and a shut off notice from the electric company. Any help would be wonderful.

Hello I found this page by God Sent, I came looking for help with my dental problems.  I know I am way a head of myself, sorry. 

I am a disabled 41 year old mother of 2 teenage girls, I am also disabled due to breaking my back when I was 15.  I worked and everything fine until I was in my 30's then I couldn't take the pain any longer.  I've had back surgery and everything under the sun done, but I am still in (every) daily/hour/minute.  Due to the back pain I can't get out and work anymore so things are TIGHT. 

I am having tons of dental problems and I am in pain as I write this message.  I have been going to the dentist and my last visit for him to work on 2 teeth cost me, "you may want to sit down" $1,600!  The worse part is it's not even finished yet.  I was suppose to go back and get it done, but of course I can't come up with the money.  He gave me an estimate of, "stay sitting" $26,00 to fix everything. You would think I was getting dimonds put in my mouth.

 Now what he did do has broken and I am having a lot of pain.  What hurts, my mouth, ear and it even feels like the pain is in my bone it hurts so much.  I am on pain medication with my back and it's still hardly  taking care of this tooth pain. 

I am hoping I can find something here to help me.  We have a school here named LSU, they do give some dental help, but they aren't taken anybody.  They say this every single time I call, I've been calling for over a year now.  I don't know what to do now.  I need to win the lottery or something.
