I don't know what is supposed to go here!

Basically I need money for transpotation, childcare,housing,and foods.

I started working the day after I graduated from high school in 1975 and have worked continuously for the past 30 years.  I am currently struggling to support my family on public assistance.  While I was working full time and raising my two children, I went to school at night to obtain an AS Degree in Business from El Camino Community College.  Although a major accomplishment in my life, my AS Degree did little to advance my career.  My current goal is to go back to college to earn a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in the IT area or to attend a private school that would prepare me to study for and obtain IT industry certifications, such as A+, MCP, MOUS, MCSE, etc.  My objective is to find personally fulfilling employment that will not detract from my efforts to raise a family.  Time is of the essence as it pertains to my educational goals.  I'm looking for funding, books, school supplies, computer, clothing, etc., that will help me achieve these goals while supporting my children.

I am a single mom of 20, go to school full time and work full time.  My mommy watches my child but my mother is going back to school soon and cannot watch him any longer.  She also lets us live with her and drives us to where we need to be.  My step-dad supports all of us.  I am tired of mouching off my family when they cannot afford to raise my child as well as their five.  I need transportation, help with paying childcare, and general assistance.  I just want a little help to get me through school while supporting my child so that I can have a career enabling me to successfully support the both of us.

   I NEED EXTRA MONEY FOR RENT, CHILDCARE, AND UTILITY BILLS. I'M NOT ASKING FOR ALOT JUST ENOUGH TO GET BACK ON MY FEET WHILE GOING TO COLLEGE FOR A BETTER CAREER.

I am a mother of 2 we recently bought a house with some insane property taxes. Plus we have school fees and what not for the 2 children at home. I recently lost my job and want to go to school. I applied for financial aid and was denied saying we made to much money last year. Well we did not make too much money last year. I pay out what I make. How is that too much money? A person decideds after not being in school in 18 years and they can't do anything to better themselves. This world is a mess.

My needs are my childs needs too!

I don't have a place to live as of October 1st, the owners have sold the mobile I rent.

I have to pay off my tickets before the end of the year or the state is going to attack my taxes.

My tickets are $900 dollars to pay off, I'll never come up with that money with my job.

I'm low income and can't pay for childcare.

I have a car for when I can drive again but it has transmission problems and other things that need to be fixed before I can drive the car.

I don't have clothes to wear at the office and it's costing me my job.

I have medical depts to pay off  $2,5000 dollars.

I have $250 dollar phone bill to pay off .

I need family law advice and can't afford that either.

I want to work out of my home and make the money my child needs me to make. 

I am currently a single mother of a beautiful one year old boy.  I am on unemployment and have had my fair share of disapointments with social services through dhs. I get only 130.00 a week to buy diapers, pay rent and utilities and items to clean with as well as 2.25 a load for laundry which is a small one if you want everything cleaned.  I need help with rent not much help I have most of it besides 125.00 and  I need childcare that I can find near my home who can work with me on payment so i can find a job.

I am having a difficult time right now. I found a job and was offered the position.  I even found what I thought was a responsible childcare provider to help me with my new job. I get up at 5:30 am to go to work and get ready, She is a no-show at 7 when i was to get on the bus, the job's biggest stressed issue is being on time so I knew there would be a problem. I called to let the co. know my sitter was unavailable when i called and hadnt shown up but I would try to work the issue out another way. I had called the company to let them know I was unable to make it because my sitter is obviously not awake or available yet.  I asked for an extra day to find addequate daycare becuase I am not that kind of employee and many many apologies. He said it wouldnt work out and i thanked him for the opportunity and went to dhs for the tanf program and they expect a family to survive on 404.00 a month I get about 550.00 a month.... my rent and utilities a month are 700.00  and my phones almost shut off.

I have called agencies and get put on the voicemail call list and mislead most the time and when rent came this month they have no help available by the time they call me back or I get a hold of a person to speak with.  I keep hearing about how great portlands assistance is and I am new to this  and really I havent found any yet. I am greatfull I have food benifits for my son and I at least. 

I am trying to get self sufficent and I couldnt wait to join the jobs program  and went through the whole orrientation and when i met with my worker he told me I recieved too much in unemployment 550.00 and really i get 530.00 becaise where i cash it takes 3.0percent of my check.  I really need help with that extra hundred dollars and maybe some help towards the phone bill this month and next month. I will work for it If possible, work i can do with my son or from home would be great to pay off the assistance if you would like. I am a 31 year old recently single mom of four. I need some advice and some explanations on how anyone can do this all alone.  I work full time, and I do not collect welfare from the state. I went to just try to get assistance with childcare, and there is a 2 year waiting list. All I want to do is make ends meet, I have no real family to rely on, so I am all by myself in this. I have to find a new place to live, childcare, and try to keep my job all at the same time.

Where do people go? I think I am on the verge of losing my mind. Any ideas?

I am a single mother of a toddler. I just started a new job and am looking to go back to school soon. My problems are this-

 1. I need to move out of my home. I am in an emotionally abusive relationship and my daughter and I can't live like this anymore. But I don't have the $$ to rent an apartment.

2. I work until 11PM some evenings and my daughter's daycare isn't open that late. I can't leave my situation until I have childcare for her in the evenings (right now my "boyfriend" watches her).

3. The daycare also needs to accept my state funding.

4. I need financial aid for school and possibly to help offset my bills. I'm only working about 25 hours a week- it was all I could find after being out of work for over a month. I will get full time eventually but not for a few months at least.

I am an eighteen year old single mother of a one year old girl. I have been living in a shelter since the birth of my daughter and since that time I have earned my GED, learned to drive, and begun college. I am now being asked to leave the shelter as my daughter is one year. I would very much like to stay in school but do not know how I can care for my daughter, attend classes, and pay rent on an apartment. I have been homeless off and on since I was 17 and I would like to make a better life for myself and my child. Please tell me if you know of grants to individuals for housing assistance. I just have always been employed it's just not enough. i just moved out of state and the job i started did not even pay enough for daycare and i got behind. I just started a new job that pays decent but the way the pay period is i have to wait three weeks to get my first check. For the first time in my life i broke down and borrowed money for rent. evrything else is falling behind and getting cancelled/turned off. i had a friend call out of work to watch my daughter but i go back in tomorow and don't have a sitter. i wont even have gas money to keep this job. i am really trying hard and things will be o.k in a few paychecks but untill then i don't know what to do.

I need about 1600.00 to pay for my rent,car, insurance, electric bil, food and, childcare. I just moved to Georgia with my 2 children and I finanlly got a job that begins on May 1st. This state is in the process of evicting me and repossesion of my car. I can make payment arrangements. I need help today!

I need financial help.  I am having a hard time finding childcare thats safe and affordable.  Jobs won't hire me because my husband is in the military.  To make a long story short my husbands work schedule changes all the time.  I tried putting my 4 month old on the child care waiting list on post but its a year long.  I need help with childcare until I can find a stable job.  I don't know who to turn to. Can anyone help me
