I am a 30 yr old single mother of 2 residing in Connecticut. I am currently working as a casino dealer , very odd hours..my shift is 5am -1pm. and only scheduled 2-3 days a week. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome ( yes it is a very real sickness) which makes it very hard to function outside of home. I also have recently been told that I have Spina Bifida (don't know why it wasn't found when I was born ??!!) I would like to be able to work from home and spend more time with the kids. I dont want to have to apply for disability because I would like to have my own little business and have things to do.  I also would like to own my own home one day. Im trying to keep my hopes up that I can make this happen. I have been renting for the last 10 years and I would love to have my own home one day. Any information on how to buy a home with not so good credit or any grant programs would be greatly appreciated

Hi !  My name is Bridget and I am a mother of three young men.  I am a  single parent and a Homemaker/Entreprenuer.  I have been trying for 15 plus years now to get into bussiness for myself.  I 've worked jobs off and on.  From 1993-2002 I waited on my elderly parents.  I stopped to go to school from 1993-1994 to obtain a A.S. Degree in Accounting.  As faite would have it, I have not worked in my field, I was taking care of my children and my parents.  Thus, not being able to work.  I didn't go back to school like I planned to get my B.A.  My mother became sick in 2002 and she died July, 2002.  I left Florida returning back to Hartford, CT my birth place thinking I can recapture the days of old when I once worked at G. Fox & CO.  I worked at this company three years prior before me leaving in 1993 to return back to Florida to care for my parents.  I payed the ultimate sacrifice.  Now that my parents are both gone I remain to care for my kids.  But I wish I had prepared better for them.  Now we are suffering.  I've worked three jobs since returning back to Hartford, CT.  I worked as a Security Guard for Murphy Security for 1 1/2 years.  I sacrificed my job for my  kids because they weren't listening to me.  I worked 3rd shift.  I didn't want to get in trouble with the state with my children, plus I didn't want anything to happen to them.  I had no one to help me  with them.  I haven't worked since January of 2006.  I've been borrowing from payday advances to get the extra money that I needed to support my family.  I have to pay full rent, I don't get food stamps, I only get medical assistant from the State of Connecticut.  I  have to pay full rent which is not cheap as you may know.  I've been here since 2003.  I have been struggling every since.

It is very hard to get back into the work force when you have been away from the work force for so long.  I want a good paying job with benefits, 401 K plan and everything  else.  I am limited to what I get.  I am   on SSI and I get only $400.00 for child support for two kids.  My SSI will be cut off in another two years.  I must have plan A, B, C in effect.  I have two  websites that I have up, but they aren't making me any money.  I realize that I have to work part-time and have this going in order for us to survive.  I would like to move to a cheaper state if there is such a place.  I can't move if I have no money.  You can visit my two websites to see if they are worthy getting funding for  Advertisement and Marketing for.  I believe in both websites and think they can help me financially to take care of my boys and myself.  I am a strong  women and I have endured alot  in my life time.  I just don't want my kids to have to suffer more than they need to.  Just tonight I had to listen to my 14 year old tell me what he needs and what he don't have.  He talks about how sometimes we have and sometimes we don't.  I am a Christian, and a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.  I  believe God don't put more on you than you can bare.  I know this is just a stepping ground.  I really want things to improve.  I am looking for work, I am trying to get funding for my websites.  I am trying to do all I can for my children.  I refuse to give up.  I wish I had a home  for my boys.  Nothing could make me more happy than to finally get them a home to call their own.  I need to get out of debt first before that dream can become a reality.  I need to be home with these boys.  I have two that have seizure disorders.  I have to be home when they get out of school.  I need these websites to  make the money that I would ordinary make if I was working a regular job.  I hope and pray that there is  someone out there who can relate to my situation.  I know that there are people out there who are in worst shape than I.  I am thankful for all that I have.  I just want things to get better or flow a little better so I can see that I am progressive forward and not going backwards.  My son said that I am not doing enough.  I have no father for these boys and I don't have no potential  prospects either.  I can't focus on that, when I need to get myself in order.  I want to have income thus, getting my debts paid, and then save money and have a nest egg and really plan for my childrens future.  All these things need to take place before you can even think about settling down.  I  can use some help financially just a little right now, to get back on my feet and see my way clear.  I need help in getting funding for my websites.  So if anyone out there know someone or a company that can assist in this area I would appreciate the advice.  I am asking for $2,500.00 which will allow me to pay the money I borrowed and a few other bills, such as rent, cable, phone, and Network.  My car needs a little fixing as well.  I just want to free the money I get every month up, I run short every month with tithes, rent, food etc.  I will continue to search for work and  I am still determine to get these websites making money so I can give my kids a better life.  Please fill free to check out these websites.  www.dontforgettotakeyourvitamins.com/King46383, and www.bridgetKing@moneywayz.com

I am a honest working man. I am also a proud african american.
I was in an accident  last year and lost one of my legs and crippled my arm. I have trouble somtimes with memory but it's due to the blow I took on the head when I had the accident.
I still can do lots of things. I help at local churches. I had trouble when I lost a folder full of my ID papers but when I saw some funny looking bills with my name on it 
I took quick action and stopped the maddness. Everything's OK now.
and I live one day at a time. Coming here helps me a great deal, I get great advice from this place.

Hi I am a single mom to a 10 month old son. I started up a business painting childrens decor and home decor at the beginning of 2007. I am making just enough to scrape by right now, but my living situation is on the verge of changing and my rent will be increasing by several hundred dollars a month. I am in need of a loan or a grant that will help me to purchase a few items to help to supplement my current sales, such as a color laser printer so that I can start selling prints which are much more profitable and much less time consuming than all of the hand painted items. I am an intelligent person but I am so confused in searching for grants and scholorship opportunities, one link just seems to lead to another with actual grant applications in sight?! And the government lists are even worse.. Can anyone either point me in the right direction or at least help me understand how to decipher the language of looking for and applying for grants?!?! Im a single mom of 2 wonderful boys. I am currently living in CT and have been struggling to keep a roof over our heads for the last few years. I need to move out of CT soon. I am living in a bad area because it is all i can afford right now. My oldest son is a follower and im worried he will head down the wrong path if i stay here. I have 5 year old also who has a learning disability and needs special education. I have no family or friends in the area to help with childcare and cant afford to send them both while I work. I need to be able to spend more time with my kid before they are all grown up. I cant stand to see them unhappy anymore. I want them to grow up as happy functioning adults and blame myself because I can not be here with them more. My dad lives in PA and we never had a close relationship for whatever reason. My mom and dad were divorced when i was 2 and my father remarried and moved away. We are now trying to repair our relationship. He is helping to find a place for me to move in PA but is disabled and can not help me monetarily. I have found a few places that I am going to look at this weekend. I can buy a nice house out there for about half of what i pay here for rent. I was told today that I would need 3,000 including closing costs to buy a nice home for me and my 2 children. The mortgage payments will not be a problem because I have a support order from their dad who is very helpful to us. He and I are trying to work on our relationship also and he may join us in PA eventually if he can find suitable work out there. I have not been able to save because I was making just enough money to cover the rent and utilities here. I plan to attend community college in PA to finish my degree. I started a few years ago but was bedriddedn when I got pregnant with my son. I had a 4.0 GPA and was on the Presidents list. I will pay back anyone who chooses to help me as soon as I get settled. I will make a payment plan or whatever it takes to pay you back. If anyone here is in the situation to help my family I will appreciate it greatly. I just really want my kids to have a nice house in a safe neighborhood that I can afford. I dont mind working and attending school to better myself. I just need a little help to get me started. I live in Connecticut and have 3 boys. My youngest just turned 1 and was born with Down syndrome.  We have insurance (not the greatest) .We have had to undergo many more medical attention due to our Son having a disibility and all the co-pays are keeping us very behind.  We are getting letters now of being sued.

I have contacted our local agency's but there seems to be no help out there at all for a family that works and tries to do the right thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

 I have crsd and have been unable to work for almost 4 years some how work comp thinks I can survive on 345.00 a week when my rent alone is 1100.00 each time they opperate they make me worse on 1/8/07 I had a stimulater put in to help reduce my pain in my arm and neck and sholder and I recieved a electrical shock on the table and now can not walk without assistance I am starting aqua therpy at gaylord in wallingford ct . Hello... My name is Corey. I am 25 years old, and have been fighting a severe case of crohn's disease for 4 years. I have had over 7 surgeries to correct damage done by the disease in the past 2 years, and because of these problams, have run out of time for medical leave at work. I currently cannot work due to anemia and another procedure in February and another major surgery scheduled for March. I have a house, car, and over $20,000 in debt, mostly medical... The bill collectors will not leave me alone. My husbands company fell apart because he needed to be with me during my surgeries and while he is currently working another job 6 days a week, he just cannot make what is necessary to keep us going... We just had one vehicle reposessed and it is all we can do to keep the other one. I am at a loss and fearing losing everything, including my life... I do not know what else to do, where else to turn.         I also work with brain injury clients and mental retardation. I have been in between jobs due to cutbacks and some illness lately it's been kind of hard to stay afloat however i believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I know sometimes we have trials and test that we are being tested on our faith. Inclosing I'm not afraid of hard work.
