I am closing on our first home and I need 10,000.00 for the closing cost. I will be deploying to Iraq after the first of the year and I just want to provide a secure environment for my family while I am away.

I will be deploying to Iraq shortly and am trying to close on my first house for my family. Closing is December 22 and I need 10,000.00. I have tried everything. Family, friends etc. It was a miracle and blessing that I got approved for the mortgage now I just have to come up with the rest. I am a Christian Man and a strong believer in the blessings and miracles of God. Our youngest child is just such a miralce. Born with Downs Syndrome and a hole in her heart, she had to have open heart surgery at 3 mos old. The amazing thing is she was out of the hospital in five days. The normal stay is 10 days. She had little or no side effects and was back to normal within a few weeks. At three years old now, she continues to amaze everyone. It is hard to believe that she even has Downs Syndrome because she is just so bright, but that is the beauty of God, though she does have Downs she is not limited by it. That being said, while this Christmas will be very sparse for us in terms of gifts, the greatest gift I could give them would be this house. The seller has allowed us to live in it until close. It would be such an incredible blessing and gift to give them their own home before I leave for Iraq. Just knowing that I have been able to provide a safe place for them, not just for now but for the future will allow me to concentrate on doing my job and getting home.
