Well, how do I introduce myself?

First of, I'm nobody and everyone...meaning I do not have a familiare name or face, but I have lived for a few years now, and during I have battled most fancy twitches and turns life has to offer.
On the basis of that, I like to think of myself as one that might lend advices and support to others fighting the same battles I have fought (and won)!

Most important to remember for all, no matter what the struggle is about; there's almost always a solution out there.

We are a disaster response/preparedness organzation dedicated to saving lives and helping others. Through education, training and operations, we are able to assist communities in preparing for a disaster or emergency event before it happens, plus we can proivde trained volunteers to help during and after such an event.

Whether its search and rescue operatins, Community Emergency Response Team training, emergency communications or just about anything in between, we are dedicated to making it happen. We have created a new site called Donate 5 For Disasters, that we are using to help us raise the much needed funds that we use to continue our efforts and help others.

As the site name implies, we are just asking for donations of $5. More would be great, less is accepted, but the more the better we can help. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and 100% of all donations received are tax deductible.

We are currently working on the site right now, but you can still visit it and make a donation. Either click on the Click and Pledge link on the right side or use the Google Checkout button located on the bottom of the page.

I live in New Mexico am a father of 9 children  I find myself in need of some help the high cost of  lights and gas put me behind on my bills am on disability due to me getting hurt at work five years ago  i have 3 children who has a disorder called NF that have tumors and they get disability as well  I get food Stamps but it does feed us all  I get $496 dollars in stamps the gas bill is due to be cut off on Monday  I owe them $1.486.13  this is for the whole winter  and my lights is $2.253 for the winter  so if there is any one who can help me keep my lights and gas on  I would be so  greatful  for any type of help anyone can give me but I need  help this week  so please email me at       h87410@yahoo.com  i can proof to you I need this help ASAP  any day my lights be cut off  Thank You Henry

OUR APARTMENT BURN DOWN COMPLETELY YESTERDAY ABOUT 13:01, WE LOST EVERYTHING AND THE LANDLORD TOLD US ONCE YOUR APARTMENT BURNS DOWN YOUR LEASE IS ALSO GO WITH IT AND THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO OR GIVES US. SO HE CALL THE RED CROSS FOR US AND WHEN THE RED CROSS ARRIVES THEY PLACE US AS DISASTER CATG. AND SEND US TO QUALITY HOTEL NEAR BY TO STAY FOR TWO DAYS WHILE WE WORK OUR WAY FOR ANOTHER APARTMENT OR HOME, THEY ALSO GAVE US $135 FOR FOOD. Hello Mom Lost job,

I lost my job on June 12, 2008. Have been looking for work ever since. I have a child that was in college. The child was accepted into a a program at a university where you did your last year of high school and first year of college. Last year when the child went to this university we  did not get aid so it was left up to me paying out of pocket for my child education. I had a hnadle on it then it became to much. I worked three jobs trying to keep up but bills started to fall behind. I was trying my best to keep my child in the college. My child did two semester and had to come home. I realized that I can not offered the program anymore. My child  came back home and tried to go back to high school but came to find out she finished and no need to attend. My child graduated this June. I owe the college a balance of $2989.49 my child can not go back until the pervious balance is paid off. I almost lost my home trying to give my child the American dream of attending college. My child  got a job and help me save our home we are on a forbarance plan with our mortgage company and this is the last month for the payment. Now all my child friends are going away to college in August and my child does not know where her future lies because she can't go back because of a previous bill. I feel like I have detroyed my childs life. If my child goes back goes back she will receive aid and she can take out loans because she is of age to sign contracts. The plan was to pay off the blance this summer so she can go back. But now I am unemployed. I gave up two part time jobs two months ago when things started to fall back in order. I got this great job at the begining of the year which was a great increase in salary and to only be laid off in six months. Now my child feels like she is lost and have no future. If there is someone out there that can make a denotation to her university so she can get her life back it will be really apperciated. I just want to see my child live a dream. I am not asking for funds to come to me but go directly to the university. I am putting this story out there. I am a single mother trying to give my child a better life. She is smart and has a chance to have a bright future. I am down on my luck and family can't help because my parents are retired and live on a fixed income. I hope someone can help. My lossing my job is the least of my worries. I just need my child to get her college life back. I will find another job I faith in the lord that that is coming any day now. I just need my child to get here life back so she won't feel like such a failure because she is not. Her mother failed her. I need to help her. I hope someone can help.
