My name is Francisco Lopez and I currently work as Director of Basketball Operations and Marketing Assistant for Notre Dame High School - Belmont, a private high school in the San Francisco Bay Area. I also occasionally work as a Public Address Announcer and/or Radio/Television Broadcaster for some local sports teams and programs. I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years and I still believe that the San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially San Francisco since I was born here. I truly love San Francisco for its beauty and nostalgia.

 Mother of three need help until I can get back on my feet. I lost my job back in December but was hires as a waha agent with an online telecommunications provider. Iwas paid for training at my states min. wage. It averaged to be $164. for the 38 hrs. of training. I recived my check when I was suppose to and everything. Then the day comes I'm going to actually go to work and nothing. It loads everythng like they said it would in training but it don't recognize me. ANyway...to make a long story short. I have finally been able to log on but know there are no schedules. Imagine,that? Anyway... I have been looking for an outside job here but now my money has ran out. The gas company wants around $315. by Now,my rent was caught up until my landlord showed up yesterday and gave me an eviction notice b/c my rent check bounced. She has given me until Monday. My car note is a month behind. He is kind enough to work with me but I realize he has a business to run and needs his money just as well. I do have a pay pal account but I am not asking for anymoney be sent to me directly I will give you my account numbers and phone numbers,ETC. I wouldn't be asking but I have no where else to turn. I am feeling a little bit better today. I was seting here and a company I applied for about a month ago called and set an interview for Monday. So, even if you don't help me out financially.Pray for me that I do get this job. I might be homeless by the time I get it but at least I will have a way to get my kids back with a roof over their heads. Besides,if they cut off the heat we can't stay here anyway. It's like 33 degrees outside. I have contacted several area agencies but everyone seems to be out of funds. So,I officially have no where else to go. My mother already has a full house in her little two bedroom apartment. My Dad is MIA has been for a couple of years now. So,no one. Just pray my kids are safe and happy!!!!!!!

I feel this so strongly in my soul that HE is behind around and in front of this calling... and with my daughter's "special needs", I know that this type of work will allow me the freedom o be there for her everytime that she really needs me to be...

We are a family of 4 who is struggling with our rent! We have been trying to keep up but each month we pay later and later and the late charges get bigger and bigger (last month the late fees were around $400) which makes it difficult to pay the power, food, etc... We thank god we are all healthy! I just don't want to be homeless! I work full time (i am being garnished from a student loan from 1989?) and my husband was let go a little over a year ago. He's had a terrible time finding work. He does about 3 p/t temporary jobs (he's a singer/entertainer, cleans and replaces carpet, gets signatures for election ballots) but it only adds up to enough for the basics like food, GAS, kids clothes and shoes (they are 8 & 9 and growing like weeds).

Does anyone out there know how we can get caught up, get help agencies. We don't mind working for what we get. We just need a boost! I have to get to work now so I'll white more later. Please write if you have any ideas on how we can get help!! Thank you and God Bless! Dede

Im not even sure what this site is for other than just having people out there who know what im going through. I have spent the last few years wondering if im going to be able to hang on. Im an adult survivor of child abuse and sexual abuse. For most of my life I have been able to maintain, but recently I feel like im comming apart. Im sure most of it is related to the fact that my life latley is so out of control. The economy is so bad right now that the stress level's have reached an all time high. I know im not the only one out here suffering, I just feel like I am.  I was diagnosed with Post Tramatic Stress Syndrome, re-occuring depression, Severe Panic and Anxiety. So with all this going on the lack of money isn't helping. I know what I need to do, and I want to be able to do it, I just cant. And I know what your thinking not with that attitude, but I used to have a great attitude, I just lost it somewhere down the road. My husband is Disabled with a bad Back and Knee, It makes it hard because we are trying to maintain a house and raise 3 kids on his disability pay and it just doesnt work.. I've tried everything. I have tried to work and tried to go to school but I just cant finish anything. I start out great and then fizzle. It gets so bad I get so over whelmed I cant continue I start getting panic attacks and then im done. If anyone can offer suggestions Im open. Anything.

I am a female who is in need of help. I am a single mother of two having my first child at 18 yrs old. I have had struggles in my life but always made a way to better myself.  Two years ago I was laid off from my banking job (which I worked for 6 yrs) and had my car repossessed. As you may know without any level of higher education it is really hard out here. I could only find part time or seasonal jobs, so I decided to try and better myself by taking a Real Estate course and recieved my license last year. I also went to tax preperation school and have been preparing taxes for the last two tax seasons. Well, my dilema is that I need help trying to open up my own small tax company in 2009 and find a vehicle so that I can jumpstart my real estate career. I am not asking for monetary help only. If I can get some info on grants, or how to get started with a business plan, or if someone knows where to find an affordable, yet reliable vehicle in the charlotte nc area that would be a tremendous help to me. Also, when the season is over April 15th  I will be looking for employment preferrably receptionist or banking jobs. If you can help me out, let me know.

My name is Tia. I'm in a situation which is causing me major anxiety, stress, & even a little bit of depression. I'm 20 years old & was working at a winery as an administrative assistance but was recently put out of that job due to many unfortunate happenings.

My rent was due on the 5th of this month & I had no way of paying it & still haven't paid it. I've gotten a notice from my apartment manager telling me I have 3 days to pay rent or quit lease & I obviousl can't pay rent but that means this affects my roommate as well. My roommate, who used to be a good friend, is now really upset with me because she paid her half of the rent & I have to move out before our lease is up considering I can't pay & this whole situation is not fair to her. She doesn't understand my situation or want to be there for me & it's upsetting because I feel like I have nobody to talk to about this. Could anybody explain to me the process of being unable to pay rent & quitting the lease?

My mom and I haven't talked in over a year & my father is an alcoholic who has never been there for me financially. The only other person I would resort to for help would be my stepdad but he just had back surgery & his bank account was just recently overdrawn.  I have no gas in my car to get around to look for a job, barely any food in my cabinets, my credit card is maxed out, my checking account has been overdrawn & I'm just so upset & disappointed that I'm down to nothing. I feel like I've failed & I'm completely embarrassed. I've always been able to support myself since the age of 16 & now that I'm unable to it's almost to the point where it's depressing me. I need to do something about this but I am just so lost & so embarrassed that it's hard for me to deal with. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated from anybody.  : )

I lost my job and have been denied unemployment. I have a house payment and an electric bill and gas bill past due, almost $900 combined. I have had interviews, but I'm being threatened with foreclosure and eletricity disconnection. I have a 21 month old baby girl and don't know what to do. I want to know are their scholarships and grants for people who have family members to

alcoholis and cancer. I am finishing my master in education and looking for grant to pay for my

PHD in Counseling and transportantion.

Last year I was hit by several tragedies and I am still in disbelief. March Seventeen of     “06” I broke my

ankle and I was in the emergency room for three hours a doctor walking by saw my leg he got x-rays.

The first week spent in hospital with my leg wrapped because of the swelling they couldn't do any

surgeries. Second week I had the surgery. After I was well enough to go home my dad me a wheel chair

and walker. At, the time my dad was sick going in and out of hospital it was an everyday thing. Then my

dad ended up in the hospital. I was at home and the phone ring and picked it up it was hospice which I

had no idea what hospice was for. Then told my dad was dying and he would put on hospice in the

house. I was called to meet with the doctor and my sister. The doctor told us my dad had two weeks to

live and he had liver cancer and any cancer treatment would instantly kill him. Since I had huge casts in

bed everyday while dad was slowly die across the hall.  May Ninth of last year, I came back home from

my second surgery to find my mom crying over dad his was slowly shutting down with his last tears we

prayed and on the same day at 8pm he passed. Now my mom takes care of me and my disabled

sister.But I have my education and I want to continue it my dad was my inpsiration and he still but my

mom has join my team. My education has become my number one priority it has kept me together and it

has become theraphy for all the pain and saddness is still there but I have future to look forward to. My

dad would have been proud.

I would like to know how I might be referred to a doctor for my lower back, since I am a self pay patient.

Hello. My name is Adam and I just came across this page and have read some of the posts on here. I have to say for the longest time, I thought I was alone on this single dad endeavor. Most single dads know my struggle so I will begin by saying that I love my little boys more than I can explain. I started off as a young man with a girlfriend and went on eventually to have a child with this woman. Her and I later decided to get married, only to have another little boy. I was raised by nothing but women so having two boys was more of a blessing than you know. My marriage eventually crumbled and as a result, both of my nice cars were reposessed, my house went into foreclosure, and all of my other debt(personal loans, utilities, etc.) built up against me and damaged my credit so profoundly that I could not get a car or an apartment anywhere. Luckily, by the grace of God, I was able to get accepted into a low income apt. complex in an area where crime, violence, and drugs are way more existent than what I would care for my boys to be around. At this point, I had been a single dad for about 7 years and I was just turning 28 years old. Since that very profound turning point in my life I have tried to go to college and get whatever grant money from school that I could get so my boys and I could survive while recieving no help from their mother but, no matter what I recieved, it was never enough. I have tried to work but could not find a job that was condusive to my single parent lifestyle due to no childcare. I take being a father very seriously because I am raising the future men of this country. I am no more of a perfect father than any other man but my intentions for them are. I give credit to any man that would break from the stereotype that has plagued us for centuries because of other non-existent fathers like my own. I am currently searching for a way to clean my credit and clear my debt so that I can create a prosperous future for my little boys that they may become the future example for other men. My boys are my life and for my life I will give what it takes to see them smile and one day see them hold their head high for the father they have. Whomever you are, thank you for taking the time to read the brief story of my struggle. Don't forget, "We are the men of the world that set the example for all other men".

I am 36 and I have not worked for several months now. Pittsburgh is very political and I have been unable to gain full time employment through any of my own initiatives.
