I am currently disabled.  I was in a car accident which caused me to become a different person.  I am the type of person that is very dependable, loving and caring.  Because I am or use to be so tusting I have had anything of value stolen from me. 

       Just last week I had minor surgery, and asked a so called friend to go to the store to get some milk, bread and a few other things.  I just got my food stamps that day.  I had given her the pin.  Before she left I asked if I could get my mother anything... She had a list a mile long, so I decieded to go with her and would ride handicap buggy at Wal-Mart.  Four days went by and I went to get some more food from there, becuase I just got a couple of things to hold us over.  After shopping for over an hour, I began to get food stamp card out of my purse...... IT WAS GONE... I had $200.00 on it, and $120.00 cash in my wallet and my credit card that was maxed out gone.. Yeah, my so called friend who knew I was in need of everything stole my card.  Called it in and the food stamp office said they could not do anything about it, it was not stolen if I gave her the Pin. 

      During Hurricane Rita, I let my friends son ride with me while evacuating, because I am disabled and can not lift over 5lbs, We stoped to get some rest.. He stole my memorys!  My digital camera, and my video camera, my medication, all the cash I had, even my pistol I had for protection,.  He jetted while we slept.

      Now all I do is cry, and hope that things will get better.

I am a real estate agent/contractor and my passion is fixing up old abandoned properties and finding families for them.  I believe it is our duty to save any structure built in the past if it is possible and make use of it.  I need help with financing, government grants, hard money lenders or even partners. 

At one time I couldn't buy a home and I will never forget how that felt. So I made up my mind if I would fight my way out of the position I was in, educate myself and help others if the Lord saw fit to give me the strength, he did and I am here.. Any input would be most helpful even if it is letters of support or advice.   Thank YOu

I just found this site today and so I am still unsure how this works, and am still feeling my way around a bit. I am a single mommy of two little boys, who are my heart. I am also a full time college student, and sell on ebay as well. Right now I have no income, other than what I try and sell on Ebay. I have severe depression and anxiety attacks.. and it is difficult for me to find work. Although I do try and do what I can from home. . I am in great need of help with bills at the moment and simple things that are hard for me to come by right now such as diapers, toilet paper, etc..

I have posted a number of sites for others to take a look at that I have found to be helpfull, but they can only help so much and I am in great need at the moment.

We have plenty of food, so this is a blessing. But really need help to get my car insurance and plates, so i can take the kids to doctors appointments, etc..

We also have a heat shut off notice as well as an electric shut off notice, ( I can show copies to anyone willing to help us with this, or even contribute directly to the utility companies themselves) (I have sought help at community agencies, to no avail)

I have no one to turn to to ask for help.. So i am turning to this online community in hopes that someone can help... even if its jus a few dollars, it can add up to a package of diapers, etc..

If nothing else... a big blessing would be to find a strong community of female positive friends... someone that i can meet and we can uplift eachother with cards in the mail, emails, etc... I have a HUGE heart and value friendship very highly....I am the sort of person who likes to create lifetime friendships...

I have also been through many obstacles in my lifetime and survived much.. and so I can relate to what many people are going through, because I am either going through the same thing or have at one point in time in my life...

Well, I am a Christian.  I am a mom to 2 boys they are 4 and 1.  I am married, we have been for almost 6 years!  I am learning that life is too short and goes too fast and no matter how hard to stop the roller coaster we cannot.  I have learned that there is good in everyone, and I try to see it.  I put everyone else in front of me, which I got from my parents.  I love my family and my friends.  I love helping others.  I love making people smile, no matter how small the jesture, you can make the difference.  I have learned to be humble through this and patience.  I have learned how strong my faith is and even though it seems to be tested a little more everyday I love Christ and I plan to just get stronger.

2007 started a little early this year.  On Dec. 23 my dad went into the hospital where he was diagnosed with MDS.  Please know I am 26, married and have 2 children.  My husband and I lost our home in April, and we are now renting from a family member.  In April, my dad's MDS turned into leukemia.  He has a lot of odds against him and we are all praying for a miracle.  In the meantime, my mom and dad were helping us with utilities and such as I lost my job because of everything going on, and they said I was just not preforming, I was doing the best that I could.  I have started an e-bay business that I pray takes off and my husband who still works full time is also starting a residential remodeling business on the side.  Of course we have no start up money so it is VERY slow going.  Here is the problem that I have right now, we are behind on rent and about to lose this place and we will have no where to go, I am scared.  My children are 4 and 1.  We are also behind on utilities and they plan on cutting things off starting next week.  We are using every penny that comes in to pay something towards our bills but things just continue to pile up.  We have asked family and friends for help and we have prayed and prayed and now I am doing the last thing I ever thought I would do and that is telling the world.  I know that there are people out there who want to help, I just hope someone can help us.  We do not need much, in comparision.  We need 2192.00 to get caught up on everything which will help us so much.  They have given my dad less than 6 months and I want to be able to enjoy the precious time, not worry about everything.  Thank you for listening and may God Bless you all.  Please know that I will add you to my prayer list and I will remember your thoughts and generosity.

I'm a single mom, 29, I made some bad choices when I was younger- I dropped out of school when I was just 15, life was really rough for me back then and I was seriously depressed, and then I had my 1st daughter when I was 18, Sierra (she's 10 now) and I changed as a person, literally overnight, she became my world, my life. I worked hard and did my best and then I met a someone I fell in love with, another one of my biggest mistakes but you really can't help falling in love when you're so naive. He ruined everything I had gained, I was thrown off the path I was on in life, and he pushed me down so far that by the time I finally left him 2 and a half years later I didn't think I would be able to get back up... well I did :) and also have a daughter with him, Breanna (she's 8 now) I went back to work, had a great job, I made real good money, I had a car, I was getting my GED, life was good again, and then I managed to get myself electrocuted to the forehead... I lost a complete year of my life due to that, my memory was extensively damaged, and now 6 years later my memory is finally almost 100%, I'm back to 100% but now for the passed 3 years I have not been able to work due to not having any money for a car.    :( I feel like I'm going no where fast, and my depression is starting to kick in again pretty bad... I have no friends here in Troy, MO, though luckily I do have my girls, and my parents here. I'm desperately in search of work, but when you don't have many options in a small town, and no "legal" education to back you up, not to mention no reliable transportation to get you to work, that all makes it so very hard. And on top of it all my youngest daughter is in the process of being diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, and ADHD. Life has dealt me quite a bump once again. I don't want your sympathy- just some support, some friends, and maybe some help.  Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my little family. :)
