Most people going to college get one scholarship and then apply for a student loan to cover the rest of their educational expensis.   This is OK, but student loans have to be paid back.  They cannot be forgiven even with Bankruptcy.  The only way out of a student loan is by dying or becoming so disabled that you can not work.

But there is no need to get a student loan.  You can get as many scholarships as you want to pay for your schooling.  There is no limit on how many you can have.  And you can get grants to pay for all the rest.  All it takes is a little effort on your part to hunt down and apply for these scholarships and grants.

I need help in tution, books, and being able to support my two boys while I go to college full time.   I have been out of school for twenty years.  I have been married three times.  I was afraid to go back to school after each year went by due to thinking I had forgotton or would fail.  I have taken the Compass test and was  very pleased that I did well.  My boys father is not in their life and does not pay child support.  I am currently working and due to this I can not receive assistance.  I have always wanted to go to college but  I got married at sixteen years old and had a son by the age of 17.  Now I have two boys who are 12 and 14 that I need a degree so I can support them on my own.  Its very discourgaing due to doors being shut since I am working.  I am being refused help due to I have a job.  I have worked and am still working but I would like to go to college full time not just to be able to support my children but for myself.

Young professional looking for aid to accomodate graduate school costs; As one of many recent college graduates having to settle employment, I am currently in the process of futhering my education. I am a 35 year old woman that has been trying to get my life straight, and go back to school.  I attended college for the first time in 1988 (after having a very turbulent academic career in high school) I found myself and started to grow as an artist as well as a scholar.  I had to leave school because of financial reasons, I just could not afford it.  My parents were having there own financial woes and were unable to help me.  Unfortunately, for the past 17 years have been filled with long hard work and lousy wages.  I could barely pay bills let alone pay off a student loan and school too.  Well here I am taking a step out on faith, hoping that there is someone who is blessed to be a blessing and will loan or preferable grant me the money to pay back the loan and go back to school.

 My name is Krystal Taylor and I am a recent graduate of Hampton University.  I am trying to put my-self through graduate school.  My parents paid for all of my undergraduate studies and I promised that they will not have to pay for anything else.  I was recently accpeted into the Post-Bac program at Hampton University.  This prgrams entails rigrous preparation for my one goal of becoming a Obstetrician/Gynecologist.  The tuition is $12,000 a year and it is a 2 year program.

I am a photography student with very little income. I rent a room at home where I help my mom, who is a single parent of 6, take care of the family. My mother homeschools everyone but me and my brother Robert, who are now college age. She works three jobs. I work 40 hours a week and go to community college during the week. I have been accepted to Hallmark Institute of Photography and have not the money to get in. It cost about $47,000. I have already requested a Pell Grant and do not wish to take out loans. Debt is a horrible ruin to most people and I do not want that.

I recently graduated after five years of college at a state university.  In order to attend school, I had to apply for student loans.  Now that I have graduated, I am facing the upcoming date at which I must begin to pay back those loans.  With today's economy, it is very dificult to find a job.  I am seeking help to pay off my loans so that once I do find a career, I will be able to save towards my future without worrying about my student loans.

I am a professional college educator who trains pre-service teachers in a small, rural, Hispanic-serving institution of higher education in Texas. Most of our students are from low-income families with limited access to technology. We need to upgrade our technology program to keep pace with NCLB, national and state standards.

Our education computer lab is only two or three years old, but by the time I find and implement additional funding to help upgrade it, our equipment may be out of date. Our funding is very limited for anything but basic needs, and the funds for the next few years are non-existent for our particular department--especially with respect to teacher-training in technology.

Our school is the main source of new teachers for a vast remote area of West Texas. The nearest four-year university from us is at least 150 miles in any direction. Many of our students come from remote border towns along  the Mexican border. Many students of the public school population these teachers will eventually serve in the classroom could be classified as at-risk. 

We have a small, but dedicated, faculty and great students. They deserve the best we can provide for them.

I am seeking information about scholarship or grant money so I can finally finish my Master's Degree.  I began my quest for a Master's Degree during the summer of 1985.  I completed 12 hours that summer, but was unable to resume classes the following year.  My husband had not finished his undergraduate degree, so it was his turn.  Since that time, I have been the trailing spouse.  I've taken other courses, from other universities, but my husband has taken other job transfers.  Now I find myself  middle-aged,with 21 years of teaching experience, but 24 hours of graduate work that no longer count toward anything. As required with my Kentucky Teacher's Licsence, I must complete a Master's Degree. I have begun work on my degree in Reading from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.  I am looking for any possible funds to allow me to complete my degree before my son begins college in the fall of 2008.

      My main objective for continuing my education is to be able to counsel children and adults in three basic fields. The first being children and adults with ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities. I want to help them overcome their disability, boost their self-esteem, and give them a better sense of well being. The second is for counseling children and adults of separated/ divorced families to help them as parents be better more effective parents without intentionally placing their children in the middle of their indifferences. The third is aimed toward people with chronic pain. Using a non-drug enhanced pain relief by showing them how they can adjust their way of thinking therefore better dealing with their pain.      
 My concerns in regards to my three objectives are, firstly, there are quite a few children with learning disabilities that go undetected and untreated due to the fact that teachers and parents don’t know or don’t see the early warning signs that the child has. As a parent of a late diagnosed child, I know first hand how children get pushed along within the school system because teachers and myself as a parent didn’t differentiate the difference of struggling in school and actually have a diagnosed learning disability. Secondly, as a child of divorced parents and a divorced parent myself, I have seen how a parent or parents inhibit the action of placing their children against the other parent and how parents use their children as a playing piece against the other parent to intentionally hurt and/or manipulate them. Children shouldn’t be used as a object since their lives are already disrupted due to the separation or divorce. If a councilor was able to assist these families or just the children it could greatly cut down on the push me/ pull me lives that many children have. Lastly, as a person who suffers from chronic pain, I have had to endure many prescription drugs that just mask the pain or that don’t work at all. If given the opportunity to use a technique like this to help assist with the pain and try to overcome the chronic condition that I endure daily, I would be elated to do so. There are many people whom live with chronic pain that could greatly benefit from this.
 Some important activities that I participate in are Star Catchers ( a reading program at my children’s elementary school) and Girl Scouts ( I have been my two daughter’s Girl Scout leader for four years now). An important development in my life is after being out of high school for eleven years I am willing and trying to go back to college to better educate myself and provide a better future for my 5 children.
 My favorite authors and books range from Stephen King, “Tommy Knockers”, to Nicholas Sparks, “A Walk To Remember”. Stephen King‘s, “Tommy Knockers”, I like because of the suspense. He really makes you think about what is going to happen and to whom it is going to happen to. “Tommy Knockers” makes you really think about touching things that don’t belong to you and just how severe the consequences can be if you do. Nicholas Spark‘s, “A Walk To Remember” it shows you that when you love with all your heart, mind, body, and soul and you find that one special person in with whom you can have that, you are happy for all eternity.
 I have chose the Virtual (online) residency because I am a mother of 5 children and I feel that if I am not readily available to them before school, after school, and in the evening to help them with homework, discuss their day, and tuck them into bed then I have not fulfilled my motherly duties to them. My youngest child is just a year old and I feel that my place is home with him, not with him in daycare all day. With virtual residency I am able to be home with my children and still work on my degree in psychology.

Hello i'm a local recording artist and have been for the past ten years. I write and produce my own origional recordings. I've recorded and produced 3 solo albums so far, performed at the world famous Apollo Theater in N.Y.C , performed on a local TV show in my home town and sell my albums out of my trunk.I'm trying very hard to make a living from this i have a family to support.
