I'm looking for some kind of funding or grant that will help us purchase our home that we presently live.  The lady we are renting from said we till October to purchase the house or move.  I have been some what approved for a mortgage but my former employer locked the door of the business without notice and my husband has had to file for disability.

  We LOVE the house very much and don't want to have to move.  We are looking for some kind of help to save our home. Otherwise we will have no place to go.

DEAR SIRS,

                    I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF ASSISTANCE TO GET MY MORTGAGE PAYMENTS CAUGHT UP.THEY HAVE ALREADY SET A DATE FOR FORECLOSURE AND I AM SO WORRIED I AM GOING TO LOSE THE PLACE THAT I'VE CALLED HOME FOR 11 YEARS. I WAS IN A CHAPTER 13 , I MADE  PAYMENTS OF APPROXIMATLEY $248 A WEEK FAITHFULLY , AND HAD ABOUT 4  MONTHS LEFT TO COMPLETE MY CHP.13 WHEN MY FAMILY AND I SUFFERED A TRAGIC LOSS. MY YOUNGER BROTHER TO WHOM I WAS VERY CLOSE TO COMMITED SUICIDE ON 9-1-04. THE TURN OF EVENTS THREW ME INTO A SEVERE STATE OF DEPRESSION AND I BASICALLY GAVE UP. I QUIT MY JOB DUE TO THE EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL STATE I WAS IN, AND DIDN'T WORK FOR ALMOST A MONTH AFTERWARD. BY THE TIME I FINALLY GOT A JOB AND WENT BACK TO WORK, MY CHP 13 HAD BEEN DISMISSED BY THE COURT DUE TO NON-PAYMENT. I AM WORKING NOW AS A SALESPERSON, BUT I REALLY NEED ASSISTANCE TO BRING MY NOTE TO DATE. I AM A SINGLE PARENT OF A 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR ASSISTANCE UNTIL NOW! Hi, I am the mother of three kids and I have one child that went to Heaven last year 11/25/2006. That is the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life. I would have rather been living on the streets with nothing than to lose my babyboy. He was born chronically ill. He had a kidney transplant 03/28/2006 and passed 11/25/2006. My situation now is not too good. I am working a part-time job, 24 hours a week. I don't know how I am going to get Christmas presents this year. I am also behind on my rent and my vehicle has been broke down since this summer. I NEED HELP!!! Need money for bills

My husband was in prison for one year to try and get free of the probation system and get off drugs, at the time of his arrest we had just received an eviction notice.  I was not working enough and he was not getting paid by his private employer.  Therefore, I became homeless.  Late in the summer I finally got a hotel room my son and I could afford to live in as I worked thre jobs, never getting to see him.  Then, I met somebody who I thought just wanted to help me because they saw how hard I was trying to make it work.  I was wrong.  This person beat me, threatened to kill me, held  me at gunpoint, and as a result I lost my job, my home, my car, and temporarily, my son and husband.  My son is back with me now, but we live apart from my husband who tries to see us often.  Trying to work for both of us and keep a positive family relationship is not easy, and is taking obvious tolls on our family.  So, basically what I need is a loan or ideally a grant(I don't expect to get anything for free, I found the hard way it doesn't happen) so that my family and I can have a home of our own that as long as we pay our bills it cannot be taken from us!!

We are a low income family looking for assistane to help us make it! Ok let me get a little bit more into detail on how we need help. My husband is a Iraqi veteran he is 27 yrs old and is now disabled he was injured in iraq, and when he came home was discharged from the military. I am unable to work out of the home due to this and our 3 children. We live in government housing and would really like to have our own home. please any info possible would be great!

   I would like to own a home one day, that way Lance and Joshua always have a place to call home.

 I've been disabled for half there life and mine to. I would just like to have a home that is ours and know body could take it away from us.!

I am a 54 year old woman with Multiple Sclerosis who was working full-time until two weeks ago.  I am experiencing numbness throughout 2/3 of my body and have had to go on disability from work.  Steroid therapy has not helped at all.  I am afraid that I may not be able to return to work.  I carry the payments for the mortgage and healthcare for my family.  If I can't work we stand the chance of loosing the house and the healthcare.  I need help with getting to work and a way to be able to move around.

Another concern of mine is getting the devices needed to be able to function in my home.  The laundry center is in the basement and I cannot access it at all.  Climbing the steps to the front door is very difficult as well.

If anyone can help with these needs, I would truly appreciate it.
