My boyfriend and I are looking for a little home of our own. We live in rough conditions now and I have a 2 yr old baby. I am currently working, but i am looking to go back to school in January for computer science. My boyfriend is on SSI. He has Grand maul seicures. But we have income comming in on a regular basis. I am trying to find something that can prevent me from paying rent and bills. I rather own then rent for the rest of mine and his natural life.

  We are currently tight on money but we are willing to sacrafice if it means owning our own home one day. I want to move to the country were my son will have a more fulfillinf life with his surroundings. I am so desperate to live in my own home. I am a single mother of a 5 yr old daughter that needs her own backyard to run and explore in. I don't know how to go about even starting to look for a home, get a loan, look for a realtor, etc.

I have bad credit, and I only make about 1,000 a month. Every place i've rented makes me feel like i'm living in somebody else's house. I have been trying to learn about government loans but i don't understand a lot of the words they use.  Can someone please help me figure everything out? I don't even know where to start. I have been trying to educate myself on government programs, but I seem to get lost in all the diffrent programs.

 I am a disabled individual on Supplemental Social Security,Female ,Born 1/24/1956. I am inquiring about assistance for me to help purchase a mobile home to put on my families farm acreage.I need to be near my family, because of medical problems,I feel I can not much longer live independently,because of my health issues. Further more: I am being evicted,by my landlord. I am on a Section 8 Housing assistance program, currently. I am being forced to move because my landlord will not revent dryers in the laundry room,which are directly now,vented thru my apartment,all types of lint and debris are in my apartment,I have severe asthma conditions,and get ill from this improper venting,this situation has been going on for 2 and a half years now,I have reported it to The City I live in health and hazzardous conditions Dept.and The fire marshall,who have stopped the dryers for the time being and now I am being evicted,because of the reporting of the landlord and that he has to tear up all of my floors to revent the dryers,which is nonsense.The dryers are vented to a outside wall,not thru a living space.Which I thought was illegal to do,so now I face eviction,with no where to live unless,I can get some assistance to place a mobile home on, some of their farm acreage,this also needs to have approval,called a varience which can take up to 3 months to receive one:IF THEY WILL GRANT ONE.So I have about 3 weeks left and I will have no place to live if I can not receive some assistance or information on my situation.      We purchased a used mobile home to fix up, my mom and dad gave us land to put it on.  We have it livable with well, spectic, and electricity.  With three children to raise on low income level, we thought it would be great not to have to pay rent.  Now we are discovering there is to much wrong with our home to be able to fix.  The roof and electrical system are the two main concerns.  I fear that our home will burn to the ground there are so many electrical shorts in the wiring. We would love to build a house, but cannot afford it.  We deseperately need help.  To build a house would cost us almost $50,000 just for materials and we would do the work. We do not mind hard work at all, just need a helping hand.

I am a 58 yr old divorced woman.  About 6 years ago, my ex-husband was dying and needed someone to help him thru his illness.  He had a heart transplant and is still not well but is better.  I worked and helped him and then suddenly, I started having heart trouble and was put out of work on total disability.  I need help in finding housing we can afford as I only have an income of $589 per month from SSI and SS.  His income is 11,692.  It takes everything we make to pay our rent, upkeep our vehicles, buy groceries ect.  I don't know if there is any help for us but if we could get into a smaller home with cheaper payments and help with paying some bills.  I worked and even after getting sick continued to pay what we could on our incomes as I drew unemployment.  Once that ran out there was no extra money to pay them.  I don't know how to do this except to be as honest as I possible can.  We were living in a 24 ft travel trailer in friends yard but the trailer is in such bad shape as we are it would be impossible to live in again.  Please thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

i am looking for federal grants to buy a house for my family.

We are a family of 5 that has reached a financial slump.  We are at risk of losing our home and our only vehicle.  My husband works 60 hours a week and is starting school in the fall hoping to better himself and our situation.  I am a stay at home mom that suffers from disabiling migraines and have applied for disability, but have not heard back yet.  We have had to rob Peter to pay Paul so many times that the well is dry and we are behind on some major bills.  We owner finance our home and do not have good enough credit to buy the home outright.  Therefore, if we dont make our payments we will be evicted and have no place to go.  I have been paying on my truck for 2 years now and only have 1 year left on it, but it too is behind by one month.  Any help would be appreciated, advice or otherwise.

i have a son who is eight monthes right now, and i get out of high school in eight more monthes and i need all the help i can get. his dad's not worth a dime , and i do the best i can.

We are a low income family of three, who recieve Section 8 Rental Assistance in Kentucky.  Recently, we found a mobile home for sale by the owner, at the reasonable price of $5500.00.  We would like to purchase the home and have saved a small amount of money toward a down payment, however we have little credit, and no one to be cosigner for a bank loan. 

We need information concerning any program, loan or grant that could be offered to help us buy this home.  We have been recipients of Section 8 for a year now, however we do not work full time, instead we attend school full time.

I would like to see what is available for a single mother of two who makes less than 21,000 a year in order to start a home for my children and I to call our own.  I have poor credit due to no child support help and the burdens of raising them on my own

My family and I are in need of some funds to get thru a low time in our financal situation to help pay for rent and buy food.  We undergone a dramatic change of income getting off from active duty to being a ramp agent for an airline.  Fourty four hundred dollars to about fifteen hundred a month.  My family has been struggling for the past eight months through out the whole ordeal.  A grant of some kind would greatly be appreciated to easy our pain and struggles.

we have okay income but a lot of debt that makes it hard to put a down payment on a manufactured home, i need to know what my options are.

Have been trying to purchase mobile home with room addition built on.  Sits on 7 lots, cost $40,000.  Mobile home will be used for total family residence.  Mortgage companies will no longer grant a mobile home loan and credit rating falls short for bank loan.  House presently renting is being sold, cannot find suitable alternative other than mentioned above.
