Well its been a long spiral into hell. In the last 6 years I have lost my parents and a sister. I have lost a great job, and my health. Now I owe so much money, not a massive amount, but enough to put me into the street in days. A little to everyone. I can't even file the papaerwork for income taxes in time, I owe that will lead to a whole new world of hurt and despair. I feel terribly hopeless and very depressed. I can't seem to get an even break. I don't know what else to do or where to turn. There's not much light in my life and I'm beginning to feel like I just want it all to end. I am tired of this financial torture. I am spent trying to make it just to survive. No one seems to think I'm worthy of help to stay alive. I have nothing left. No where to go. Nothing to eat. No where to live very soon. The last thing before my life that I'm willing to give up is my only friend, my dog. If need be we will die together.

I feel like I'm hanging by a thread.

So if anyone can help with a roof over our heads and some assistance to get out of hell, and back to the land of the living, I would be forever grateful.

April 30,2008

Never mind, it's not like there is really anyone who cares out there. I'm done trying to get by and just survive. Its appalling that this can happen in this country. I'm have worked all my life and now that I can't I deserve to die, well I fucking guess so! We are homeless now and I am not going to live in my compact car for long, and as soon as I get my painkiller prescription refilled, me and my dog bid you farewell. We will be together in pergatory forever I fucking guess eh fucking GOD!!!Fuck you GOD! We are outta here for good. This site is usless, thanks Canada, thanks for nothing.

I am a disabled vietnam era veteran. About two years ago I suffered and saw first hand the obstacles that people and families in need go thru when they are struck with an unforeseen incident. The world can turn into a cruel and cold and lonely place. It seems that the only visitors that approach you are people that want to take their pound of flesh. All the collectors come to collect their debts and there is no way of holding them off. Sometimes families are forced to make harsh and rash decisions just in order to survive the tradegy.

I do not want anyone to feel the way that I did when I had my strokes. Dealing with the feeling of complete loss and disarry of your life only compounds itself on your situation. It harms both you and the family around you in so many ways. The emotional, physical and financial strain can become unbearable. Along with the illness and long sleepless nights you are also plagued with the ever approaching feeling of doom. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO SURVIVE!!!

I was able to first hand experience this and to speak with others that have gone through these incidents also. There are a few basic needs that must be met in order to get through this crisis safely and remain in a stable environment.

Basic needs include but are certainly NOT limited to:

Food / Shelter / Medical Care

Knowing that someone cares and that there are people who can or want to help, makes a big difference in bridging the gap to becoming healthy and viable again.

What I have decided to do and wish to attempt to pass on to people are both the basic needs and the knowledge that there are others that care and sympathize with people in need.

I hope to help bridge the gap between the needs and the needy!

I am starting a non-profit organization to help veterans and their families cope with the difficult and rocky time between receiving either their benfits or their pension. I wish to exted this service also to the homeless in need.

I need help to get this venture started. Any help from you would help out the cause greatly!!!  One of the things that we need too do is purchase wholesale/discount/surplus items to raise  funds for the cause.
We can't do this without you and there are people waiting to be helped. Please help us bridge the gap between the needed and needy.

I want to be an organization that ACTUALLY helps, not just a name that people are turned away from when they are in need.

I am a 49 year old Intersex man with female genital. I am insulin dependent I also have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (SPMS).  I can no longer walk I depend on a power chair, as well I am have lost the use of my bladder and 50% of my bowels. I have visual issues as well anything from blurred to eyes that jump. The fatigue that I live with is overwhelming. Sensory issues are as follow; I have a delay in pain, by the time I feel it I could have cut myself or burn myself. To have someone touch me will drive me crazy, my skin feels at time like it is crawling or I have the pins and needle in the hands arms and face.  There are many other things that I face on a daily bases with SPMS some of them I will admit has brought me down to the point I was thinking they would shoot a horse that felt better then this. This past year has been hard for me to deal with however I have never been a quitter. I know that my illness is a progressive one, however I am not ready to stop living and I am now working on creating a new aptitude about life. I am now looking at this life I live as a challenge. I am working on retaking my life back from SPMS. I am learning that it is okay to ask for help, that I do not have to do this alone. I am also learning that asking for help does not make me a weak person. I also know that I have a lot to give to the world on a whole. I can and will be a productive person again. I may not be able to give and do like I use to but I still have a lot to give… It may take me longer to get a task done, however I have all the time in the world. When those day I can not pick myself I can now push a button and get some help and that it does not make me any less of human being. I am learning to use the adaptive equipment with pride not shame.

my name is harriet key I'm a foster care parent and i presently live in a studio apartment and i would like to be able to provide a home for a sibling group of children that desperately need a home and family. In order for me to be able to provide them a stable life i need money to buy or rent a home or even if some one has a house they would donate to help my cause. The amount of money needed for a rental would be base on the rent times 3 that would be one months rent one months security, and one months brokers commission. If there is anyone that can help my cause or give me information that could help me i would greatly appreciate it very much.

I have recently fell on some hard times, in February of 2007 I fell and broke both of my knee's and had to have a double knee surgery. While re-habbing in a nursing home the job I had for 18 years went away the factory closed and my job went over seas. I have spent all the money I had put back including my retirement. I have no income while I am trying to re-hab myself because I no longer have insurance so it is very hard to return to the work force with 2 bad knee's! I'm at the end of my rope I have no clue where my are my daughters next meal may come from! I have made to much money in the past they tell me for any kind of assaintance from the State so I ask you what should I do or can you help us?
