I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

We are a low income family looking for assistane to help us make it! Ok let me get a little bit more into detail on how we need help. My husband is a Iraqi veteran he is 27 yrs old and is now disabled he was injured in iraq, and when he came home was discharged from the military. I am unable to work out of the home due to this and our 3 children. We live in government housing and would really like to have our own home. please any info possible would be great!

We are a family of 4 who is struggling with our rent! We have been trying to keep up but each month we pay later and later and the late charges get bigger and bigger (last month the late fees were around $400) which makes it difficult to pay the power, food, etc... We thank god we are all healthy! I just don't want to be homeless! I work full time (i am being garnished from a student loan from 1989?) and my husband was let go a little over a year ago. He's had a terrible time finding work. He does about 3 p/t temporary jobs (he's a singer/entertainer, cleans and replaces carpet, gets signatures for election ballots) but it only adds up to enough for the basics like food, GAS, kids clothes and shoes (they are 8 & 9 and growing like weeds).

Does anyone out there know how we can get caught up, get help agencies. We don't mind working for what we get. We just need a boost! I have to get to work now so I'll white more later. Please write if you have any ideas on how we can get help!! Thank you and God Bless! Dede

I am a 31yr old recently divorced mom of 3 kids. i was in a marriage for 12 yrs., and because of his disposition as a husband my kids and i have been thrust into a sandstorm and i'm trying desperately to feel my way through. i don' know who to talk to or where to turn. my greatest fear is because of my financial unstableness my children and i will suffer for something that i virtually had no control over. i'm lost and dont know what to do. i look at my kids everyday and my heart breaks even more.i want to give my kids the world they deserve it,they're good kids and dont deserve to go through this storm.pls help......lost,confused, and anxious to start living.

I just became a single mom of a 1 year old boy about a week and a half ago.  I got out of a pretty bad relationship and I was able to leave before it got worse.  Now I am sleeping on my mom's couch and I am trying to get back on my feet.  I need some help.  Everytime I call for some assistance I don't qualify because either I am not being evicted or something like that.  I am 23 years old and I barely have any kind of credit to my name, I don't have a job rightnow.  I've never owned anything.  If anyone knows any kind of information that can help me get a place of my own, because you all know living back at your parents house isn't too fun, please let me know.  Thanks.  

I'm a divorced man with the custody of my three kids. The wife left town with the boyfriend, I had just graduate trade school in Texas and came back to be with my kids. At which time the wife left, thinking no big deal I'll raise the kids. I had a in out of state the paid well at first, then I started having car problems. Lost the job, at the time the kids and me where living in a friends basement. He also had three kids,things got rough with the friend and the kids and where put out. I had some money in the bank and looked for an apartment, but the wife had a very large ultilites bills that had vto be paid before anybody would let us in. Now the money gone we where in a homeless shelter for two montyhs then a hotel room for four months and now in a apartment for the last five years. But now the school loan, car payment to rebuild my credit, and the cost to feed, clothes the kids when i can, is too much to handle. I NEED MONEY!!! to pay off my student loans and money for a down payment on a house, and money too start my own business so my kid fully understand that no matter how hard life gets if you work at it you will get it. So please help me get the funds to change my life totally around so my kids can believe in me again.

Hi, I'm 48 years old and a single mother of two teanagers and it is been very difficult for me to meet my ends.  My house is in foreclosure and i need to pay for two months the amount of $1300.00 in order for the bank to put me in a repayment plan.  I haven't pay my utilities for two months and if i don't have at least $500.00 by tomorrow, most probably they will be disconecting my electricity and water.  This is an act of faith that i'm doing, i believe that there must be somebody out there that will be moved by my situation. I have a job but i'm not making enough money to cover my expenses.  I believe in angels and i know that there will be somebody to help me and the rest of the other human being that are asking for help in this web page.  Thanks and God bless you!

My name is Elove, I am a native of Detroit, MI.  I moved to Georgia approx. 2 yrs ago in hopes of providing my self and daughter now 3 a better life. I left Detroit secondary to physical, financial, and mental abuse of my husband now incarcerated for the next 36 years.  (very long story).  I left a beautiful home, car and stable job as a result of this.  I felt our lives were in jeopardy as result of my husbands street associations.

 Initially when I moved I was doing well for myself although the journey difficult. I gained employment purchased a car, and rented a modest apartment. It was difficult to maintain all of my monthly expenditures ie. day care, although I made a decent salary. I deprived myself and my daughter of so much like NECCESITIES.  There are no programs or at least  I have yet to find one that helps persons in my situation.  I try to exhaust all resources before asking for help.  However I am hanging by the end of my rope.

I lost my job in November, and as result lost pretty much everything all over again. I have limited resources and family support.  I suffer w/depression and  a host of emotional issues as I have never had the opportunity to heal or recieve counseling for all of my anguish. I just function as a Bobo doll and when continuosly punched I bounce back as I have no choice because I have a ltitle one that depends on me greatly, but I am running low on fuel. 

I am daily steadfast going into debt as I have NO source of income.  I am living with a God sister, I am grateful for her although it is not the most comfortable environment for us. The only thing I have left is my car that may be repocessed soon. If that happens I am really up the creek. I have daily tried to find work and at this time a beggar can't be choosy. I'd work at Mickey D's however child care is of course an issue. Further more I can't drive my vehicle because I can't afford my tag renewal or insurance premiums so I am stuck all the way around.

My daughter has been greatly affected by all these abrupt social and economic changes. Right now she is my only fuel and motivation.  Prayer and faith of course, yet when you exhaust all possibilities to help yourself what do you do?  I would never have gone on a site like this because I am so independent and proud.  Yet I ask anyone out there if you have any resources that can aid or assist me in my situation, it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone can provide me with any financial help just to handle my most urgent need to be mobile to find employment would be great and I can handle the rest. A good 1500.00 dollars would allot me the opportunity to pay a car note, pay my insurance and get my tags renewed.  

I thank anyone who wishes they can help, prays for me or identifies with my situation.  I don't want a hand out I want help to hep myself.
