Hi I understand your situation.  Katrina took it's toll on my money situation and it seems to be getting worse not better.  But, at least my house is fixed and I have a place to live.I too have debts and although I have a degree from tulane in new orleans I have been unemployeed for about a month and have no health insurance for me and my son.  anyone with good ideas of where to find good, reasonablly priced health insurance please let me know!  I just need it for yearly checkups and medicine.  I talk a few things for aniexity disorder.  It amazing at 55 to be in this position.  I have worked hard my whole life but here in new orleans no one wants to give you benefits, they work you hours just under full time so that they can not pay you.  I was working for cvs pharmacy and they refused to pay me for jury duty and I was on a murder trial. I did not chose to not work I was chosen.  Now after 7 months their human resource office tells me I should have been paid but my manager di not turn in the paperwork Igave him from crimal court.  It was the worst place I ever worked I took the job so I could get insurance and then They took money from my check but when I tried to use the insurance for medicine it cost more than without the insurance.  It was supposed to only cost $7.50 per prescription but this was not the case even the pharmaist could not understand.  They lie to you when they hire you, I was told I would have benefits after 90 days, I started in october 2008 but they counted my jury duty against me and I was not pass my probation till feb 11, 2008.  Then they started taking money out but the insurance was worthless.  They worked me ungodly hours  example from 2 pm till 11 30 pm and then wanted me back in a 8 am.  It took me 40 minutes to get home.  I was not getting time to sleep even 7 hours.  It was the job from hell andthe best part is I applied and was hired at a home depot at 10.50 and hour, they have still not called me in to start, it has been a month and they keep telling me they want me but how am I to live because cvs is blocking my unemployyment benefits because I quit!  But I have faith that something good will happen I am a good person who helps everyone, I have in the past given my last dollar to a homeless person, so all this will get better I just hope it happens soon.  I have no money left, I have already cashed in the 401k, the saving, and have used all credit availabe just to live.  Pray for me I really need it.

Hello I found this page by God Sent, I came looking for help with my dental problems.  I know I am way a head of myself, sorry. 

I am a disabled 41 year old mother of 2 teenage girls, I am also disabled due to breaking my back when I was 15.  I worked and everything fine until I was in my 30's then I couldn't take the pain any longer.  I've had back surgery and everything under the sun done, but I am still in (every) daily/hour/minute.  Due to the back pain I can't get out and work anymore so things are TIGHT. 

I am having tons of dental problems and I am in pain as I write this message.  I have been going to the dentist and my last visit for him to work on 2 teeth cost me, "you may want to sit down" $1,600!  The worse part is it's not even finished yet.  I was suppose to go back and get it done, but of course I can't come up with the money.  He gave me an estimate of, "stay sitting" $26,00 to fix everything. You would think I was getting dimonds put in my mouth.

 Now what he did do has broken and I am having a lot of pain.  What hurts, my mouth, ear and it even feels like the pain is in my bone it hurts so much.  I am on pain medication with my back and it's still hardly  taking care of this tooth pain. 

I am hoping I can find something here to help me.  We have a school here named LSU, they do give some dental help, but they aren't taken anybody.  They say this every single time I call, I've been calling for over a year now.  I don't know what to do now.  I need to win the lottery or something.

hi my name is vickie i am disable it is hard talking about my problem when u dont have anyone to talk to but god he is my only friend i was in a very bad relationship and lost evrything behind it i only have me  cant make it on what i have when the money gone from paying  some of the bills thier nothing left for food i walk with a cane i dont have a car i dont know how long i can go like this it is so easy to give up and i understand why people do what they do the pressure of living and having is so hard when your need cant be met i am living in faith and prayer if i can just get a little help  just a little that will be fine their just so much  but i have only a little thank you and god bless us all.......................vickie
