I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

I just found this site today and so I am still unsure how this works, and am still feeling my way around a bit. I am a single mommy of two little boys, who are my heart. I am also a full time college student, and sell on ebay as well. Right now I have no income, other than what I try and sell on Ebay. I have severe depression and anxiety attacks.. and it is difficult for me to find work. Although I do try and do what I can from home. . I am in great need of help with bills at the moment and simple things that are hard for me to come by right now such as diapers, toilet paper, etc..

I have posted a number of sites for others to take a look at that I have found to be helpfull, but they can only help so much and I am in great need at the moment.

We have plenty of food, so this is a blessing. But really need help to get my car insurance and plates, so i can take the kids to doctors appointments, etc..

We also have a heat shut off notice as well as an electric shut off notice, ( I can show copies to anyone willing to help us with this, or even contribute directly to the utility companies themselves) (I have sought help at community agencies, to no avail)

I have no one to turn to to ask for help.. So i am turning to this online community in hopes that someone can help... even if its jus a few dollars, it can add up to a package of diapers, etc..

If nothing else... a big blessing would be to find a strong community of female positive friends... someone that i can meet and we can uplift eachother with cards in the mail, emails, etc... I have a HUGE heart and value friendship very highly....I am the sort of person who likes to create lifetime friendships...

I have also been through many obstacles in my lifetime and survived much.. and so I can relate to what many people are going through, because I am either going through the same thing or have at one point in time in my life...

Im in a illegal in Russia and have no friends or family around. and no way in hell would i ever sell my body so thats a definite. I am not relying on anybody for money, i just needed some ideas on how to help myself. I've never been in a situation like this before and im not going to let someone (my relative) tell me who i can be and who to be with. Thus im standing my ground, but paying a penalty. I lost my job and have been denied unemployment. I have a house payment and an electric bill and gas bill past due, almost $900 combined. I have had interviews, but I'm being threatened with foreclosure and eletricity disconnection. I have a 21 month old baby girl and don't know what to do. I have a real problem with some saying no to my daughter. I do not have any one to talk to or any Suport Group. Both of my Parents are deseased. I am a single Mom and I don't get Child Suport of any thing.  I don't make a lot of money, I just have enought to pay my bills and I don't have any thing left to get us some Food and I only get $ 10.00 in Goverment help, (Food Stamps). I don't go to the doctor. Because my Insurence has change and I don't know if I have a copay is $10.00 or more In not sure.  I just wish I had friends so some one to talk to.

Hi - My name is Cindy. I am seeking out people who are middle-class and being denied assistance by our govenment. I am looking forward to advice on how to turn my situation around. 

I am a single mom making $40k a year (which used to be considered good money). But, I receive no child support my son's father (literally nothing ever) and with the cost of daycare and everyday living expenses such as car pymt, gas, auto insurance & healthcare costs. I have had to move home with my parents!! At 34 yrs old!! And I still don't have a damned dollar in my pocket even now that I have moved back home! I have no healthcare plan for myself because I can't afford the additional premium. Therefore, coverage is only on my son...AND I STILL PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR MOST MEDICAL SUTUATIONS DUE TO THE PLAN HAVING A $1500 DEDUCT!! HA! I can't even cry about it anymore. Additionally, I pay taxes for no reason because I get paid "too much" to qualify for food stamps or any other form of gov't assistance (which I am embarrassed to say that I really need).

I'm in pain physically and emotionally while I'm typing this so I'm hoping what I have to say comes out right. I'm going through a tremendous amount of issues right now and I really need some help but have the most trouble finding somewhere to turn. I have a rare pain syndrome that is not commonly heard of. It's called vulvodynia. It causes me excruciating  & debilitating pain. At one time I experienced it almost every second of every day for the last several years. There's no cure or even any sure way of knowing the exact cause....it makes you miserable and unsure of ur life from day to day. I also suffer from depression.

 The vulvodynia pain, I guess u could say is comparable to nerve damage pain (which is in fact what it seems to be in my case). I don't know if I'll ever be free of this situation again but for the time being the only thing most recently that has been helping me to function enough and not suffer this every single day as before is the Cymbalta medicine I've been taking. I also believe in holistic methods but nothing else so far helped relieve the extreme pain and I have a young child to care for. I have tried many many medications & have been & felt like somewhat of a guinea pig. This situation started for me around the age of 19 and I am now in my 30's (Off and on during that period of time). I cannot work because of these disabling situations and I receive SS disability once a month.

 I tried to fill my prescription for my medication and for reasons beyond my control (some error of some sort), my insurance that covers it was off and will take at least a month to be corrected. My medicine costs $163 that I don't have. Making matters worse, I am in a period in which the pain is at it's worse (which happens sometimes) and this is the worse time for me to be without my medicine. I can't find anyplace to get it free or get samples. I NEED HELP.

 I am behind in my rent $227. I have bills I am behind in that is $191. My glasses are old and broken (I'm very nearsighted and the type of glasses I get cost me $350-$400), My child's birthday is here, I have no money to give him anything right now and that in and of it self is so hard (he's a great kid and I love him dearly)and I have little money for the basics of food (which has just been getting more and more expensive). My medicaid was cut a long time ago because they sent the recert to the wrong address, I've tried to apply since then and all I get is the run around. Food stamps is the same thing. Aloha, my name is Cheryl-lynn, I'm separated from my husband who is now dating a 19 year old. I kicked him out at the end of March, then found out I was pregnant. He continued to date the 19 year old instead of making things workout. I am 17 weeks pregnant and raising four boys on my own now. He left me with all the bills which were about two months behind already. I started working part time with a temp agency. But it still isn't helping. I don't have any food in the house and when I do, it doesn't last long. I haven't been able to get healthy food for me and my baby. I may have gestational diabetes with this pregnancy. I am only going for my first doctors visit on May 27th. I need help. I am also on the waiting list here in Nevada for medicare. I have about another 25 days more to go. Can anyone help me, please?
