Hello. My Name is Robert. I live in Buchanan, Michigan. I work at McDonalds in the town I live in. I have no car. I am behind $1750.00 on my rent (3.5 months) My elec is about to turned off. My gas is about to be turned off my water the same. My central heat system is not working. I cannot afford to get it fixed. I "make too much" for Michigan Financial help. That means no food stamps, etc. I need help. While the house is owned by a friend, I still do not want to be evicted by him due to nonpayment. And with winter coming on I need elec, gas, and water. I cannot afford to get the "Federal Assistance Kits" that numerous companies online offer. I can bareley afford to keep up on the bills and feed myself. I was unemployed from March 2006 until April 2007. Though the grace of God and the help of generous friends I was able to keep a roof over my head. However many of my other bills went unpaid and I also was the victim of an internet scam. I am currently $10,000 in debt. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. My name is Joel. I'm a single father of a great 12 year old son and a beautiful 2 year old daugther.

This is quite hard for me to be doing, but I have not many choices at the moment. My wife left me 4 months ago and in the process has left us without transportation  and a pile of debt.

I've been a carpenter for 18 years now and had to take a job at the local elevator as customer sevice at $7 an hour. At this time My kids and I just cannot seem to catch a break in life.I keep food on the table and clothes on them but keep falling behind on everything else. I do not drink, drugs or anything of that nature. I pray every day for a miracle. I look at these two and hurt and pain of not giving what they need fills me.

I found this to maybe find willing people to help us out. Not asking for fanything free, loans donations anything to help us get into a permanent home and back on finacial track.

I never realized the feeling of defeat until this past year. I married a woman with a bipolar disorder I thought after find this out that I could help her for our children and didn't realize I'd lost myself in doing so. It just hurts so bad to see my daughters mother continue on the path she's been on her entire life and not admitting her disorder. I pray everyday that she finds help for herself and her children. I see now that there is no hope for finding the happiness we once had together now that she's left witout seeing the damage or even having any remorse.

Just looking for help for my Mom & yes also for myself. Have tried & tried beyond means to keep working but my medical issues are getting to be such that I can't work anymore. I've fought my doctor wanting to put me on disability for some time, but I'm really tired & somewhat sickly. I can hardly even play my music anymore. I try keeping busy on occasion with some volunteer work; I've got to get out sometime & do something! I share a place with my Mom for financial reasons, but I'd sure like to be able to help out more. She's on disability helself but also does a bit of volunteer work. We don't have internet at home but we do manage to get to the library at least once a week, so I hope to be able to visit here as much as I can. I'm not sure what I'm asking for here but any help would be greatly appreciated! A decent home, food, furniture, car repairs, etc.

I also just discoved the mold in my home is black mold. I'm allergic to mold in general, but this black mold is part of the reason I'm sick--& in my own house! It's just a rental, & when we've called the landlord about it, he just keeps saying :use the bleach, use the bleach." That does work, but only for a very short time. When it comes back, it's worse than ever. And I recently discovered, along with the mold is some kind of nasty fungus. I called the Health Dept. & am waiting to see what happens. We do have legal recourse, but we don't have the means to move.

All any of us can do in these times is pray....please pray for my Mom & myself, & I will do the same for you--whomever you are. Again, any help is certainly appreciated. I also appreciate just having a place like this to ask & am glad others can ask also. Thank you!
