Hi, I am not proud of myself for asking for monetary assistance but I feel this is the last resort. This is a sincere plee for help from the public to donate whatever they can to my cause. My husband doesn't even know that I am doing this and would be very hurt if he knew.

My Story: We are a family of four (2 small boys; 1 year and 4 years) plus our 2 Boxer girls. We had been living in Chicago since 2004 when my husband was introduced to an opportunity to buy his own retail business in Orlando. He immediately tried to get a bank loan for the business but was declined because neither one of us was working at the time and had too much personal dept. So we both decided that he should take out Credit Card advances under both of our names to make his Dream Happen. He dropped everything including his family and at the time his son of 1 month with my blessing to go and pursue it. I stayed back to work and take care of the 2 boys and to sell the home 2005. In the meantime, the whole year of 2005 incurring more debt because I was the only one that was bringing in money for the family and eventually had to take on a 2nd and  a 3rd job just to make ends meet. My husband came home at least once a month to visit. During the whole year of 2005 there was no buyer for the home which was the most discouraging. After trying to sell for almost a year we finally decided in November to rent the home out and rent a home in Orlando.

Up-to-date:

We moved to Orlando in November 2006 to resume our life as a family again. I am still working 3 jobs and still the sole provider for the family because my husband has been negative every month for the business. Life has been a struggle for the past 2+years with the worries of not being able make the bills every month, and discussing if we can afford to take our children to see the doctors when they are sick because we don't have health insurance.

With the way things are going we will not be able to pay back our balances ever! That's why I am turning to the public to help donate/contribute to a good cause. Anything contributed will be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys,

I hope your day is going well.  It is hard for me to ask for help, but I do need it. I have been out on short term disability for an injury I got. I had surgery a month ago and it will be at least 2 more months before I can return to work.  I have used up my savings and short term disability only pays $50. a week minus taxes comes out to be about $46.  I need help in paying my rent and utilities also med bills are starting to stack up since I have to go to Physical therapy 3 times a week and at $30 a visit it adds up. I am only asking for about $1,000 to help out with my primary needs right now which is rent and utilities.  I thank you for the opportunity to ask you for help.

Are there any programs that help pay mortgage payments to stop foreclosure?  My husband works seven days a week trying to make ends meet.  I am a stay at home mom who has desperately been trying to find work I can do from home.  We have 3 kids.  Our house went into default a few months ago and my husband was working with the bank to do a repayment plan modification to help us get out of the foreclosure.  He did everything the bank told us to do.. and 3 months later (with no payments being made.. as the bank told us to wait while everything was being processed) all of a sudden they informed us they can not do the repayment plan.  That put us behind almost $10,000 with fees and all.  We put our trust in the bank, only to have them ruin it at the very last minute.  Literally.  If anyone knows of anything or anyway to get help, or even help for me to find a job (real jobs) that allows me to work from home, I would be forever greatful just to be pointed in the right direction.

Not much to tell . Im very hard working and I do my best to live a good life. I pay taxes, car insurance medical insurance all to no avail. I recently was in a car wreck the other parties fault but they had no insurance so now my cars gone and I got charged 10k for a light pole my insurance refuses to pay. Then I got a dui my first time drinking in 5 years driving home from  a friends bachelor party. I then had my rental car hit and run and had to pay for that. I moved to florida after all that for a better job and they laid me off after only 3 months. I lived out of my bank account supporting 2 people for 2 months. I got another job and nwork at it 70 hours a week but its not enough to keep up. During all of this the medical problems arrised and the pain. Now im severally in debt and feel trapped. I can't go to school for featr of more debt but all the dead end jobs I can fuind arent enough to support me.

I am a 25 year old male stricken with unidentifiable medical problems. Im in constant pain in my groin , thigh and knee and have seeked medical help for over 9 months. All these doctor visits cost me 1000s even with insurance and although iI work 70 hours a week I cant keep up with all my bills. I recently got hit with a 10,000 dollar medical bill that my insurance refused to cover for a hernia operation so now I have no way to keep up. All told my debt is only about 18k but its killing me trying to keep up. I also am supporting my girlfriend as she is out of work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need more tests and I need to eat. Im not asking for a handout and even with the pain im still working non stop but i need help. Money of course would be great but even a better job or a way to make more money. TRo be honest im a good person and I've made alot of positive changes in my life I dont want to go back to selling drugs  but im almost that desperate.

I don't even know how to start writing about myself.  I am very reserve and it is very difficult for me to reach out to others for help and guidance.  So for me to join this aidpage with the purpose of seeking financial guidance and/or assistance clearly states the financial situation that I am going through at this time.  For me it is not just paying debts but survival.  I was laid-off on August 2006 and have had no success with finding employment.  In the interim, I decided to get my Real Estate License and I am struggling to get that business going because of limited financial resources to market myself.  My financial situation is that I am in the brink of facing foreclosure, behind on bills, and no income to even survive on the basic daily needs.  I may have to move in with my daughter which is very difficult for someone as independent as I am to face the fact that I will need to depend on others.  If I could only raise enough money to survive 6 more months which is the average time for Realtor's to get their business up and running.  My monthly bills are an average of $2,000.00.  If anyone has gone through a similar situation and has some inside information on how I can get back on my feet, your input would be greatly appreciated.
