I am 31 years old and a single parent of one. My son is concidered a strong willed teenager,he's 16 years old. For most of his life it's been just him and myself. His father has never been in his life so i'm all he has. Here in the last few years I realized that I needed to make some positive changes in my life so I started college. I chose to persue a degree in accounting because I have always been excited by numbers. I started in August 2004 and did very well, by the end of the semester I had obtained a grade point average of 3.50. I was ready for another semester when I lost my home. I still attempted school but unsuccessfully. I ended that semester with a 1.75 and lost my financial aid. Which brings me to where I am now in desperate need of some assistance with funding. I need help paying for one semester of classes so that I may be eligible for financial aid again.  give me advice on where to get money to start a new business

I am a single mother of 2 boys, one still at home. He will be a senior in high school this year. The other son lives away from home. I have a new granddaughter, who was born Jan. 31, that I have not yet seen due to my financial situation.

I was employed in a factory, I have never done factory work in my entire live. I took this job as a way to make ends meet. This job only paid $8/hour and I worked 12/hour shifts. I have since been let go due to the fact I was diagnosed with carpal and cubital tunnel syndrom and the company has fought to not pay the doctor, medical and surgery bills.

I have been denied unemployment and am appealing that decision. In the meantime I have been looking for work and have been without an income for 6 weeks. I have been hired by 2 seperate businesses as part-time help and will be only making minimum wage at both places.

I do have a lawyer working on a case for worker's compensation, he has informed me that my case goes in front of the arbitrator here in the next couple of weeks, so here again I will be unemployed.

I have 1 year of college under my belt and am starting my second year, to receive my Bachelor's degree in the future. I am determined to finish my education, so that I may improve myself, my job and my way of living. Most important of all, I want to be a role model for my sons and to show them, I may be down for now, but not out.

Hello, I am a Kidney dialysis patient and have been for a year and half now. I was employed with the State of Florida. By me being on kidney dialysis i am not employed now. My daughter is attending college, she is 18 and currently a sophomore. Her name is Sasha. I need someone who can help us with the funding of her books, and returnong to school. As of now i have nothing to get her back up there with. I get paid once a month and after rent and utilities i have no extras. She is majoring in criminal justice. I contacted Alcee Hastings office and the mayor of my city and i can't get any open doors i have been calling and calling with no results!. If at all possible could you please help me with my daughters education. Right now getting a kidney isn't my first priority, getting my daughter through school is! i will go for a kidney later, right now i'm worried about her continuing her education... and i'm at my wits end! I would greatly appreciate it if someone could lend me any kind of assistance or advice!

Hi My Name Is Crystal. I Have a Son Who is 6 Months Old Right Now. I Lost My Apartment And Everything Ive Ever Worked For. I Didnt Get To Finish School But Im Going Back As Soon As I Can Get Back On My Feet Again.
