This is my last ditch effort to get my finances in order. I have always been a very organized female with my finances. I was working in a successful career. Then the big D hit. DEPRESSION. I was diagnosed with depression back in Sept 2006(have documents for verificatin purposes if required). Lots of things were going on in my life that made it worse, my grandfather was diagnosed with stomach cancer, my grandmother, who just watched my aunt die of cancer in a 3 month period, was put on suicide watch because she was not ready to watch another loved one die. At the same time, I found out my mother had a gambling addiction that she attained to not have to deal with all that was going on, and it was effecting the entire family where she was borrowing and not paying back. This was all happening to my family back home in another province, which left me feeling very guilty and sad, for not being able to help more than I could, and it was down hill from there on out. I continued to work hard for months while I dealt with this new diagnoses. I struggled to get out of bed everyday, I just didnt want to live anymore, while my whole family was suffering back home. Then it got worse, I had to quit my job back on April 9th (have documents for verifiation purposes if required), due to the inability to function due to my depression. I was crying every day and barely able to get out of bed, depression hurts. My bills ran up to over $10k, as I had to pay rent, school fees, utilities and make sure my daughters was fed, all on credit. I am now on the road to recovery under a physicians care, but not working for the last 3 months has put me in a big financial hole that I cannot get out of, which is putting me back into the deep dark depression.

PLEASE HELP ME. Any financial help will help with my depressing debt. A loan/donation as small as $5.00 or more would be a great start.  I am willing to work out a repayment plan with anyone willing to help me out of this desperate situation.   PLEASE HELP. NEED HELP FAST. Repossesion of my belongs is due to happen any day now.

 My wife and I are in desperate need of help. I am unemployed and being called by all of my creditors every day, every hour. I have explaned the problem and they are still calling. I need help to pay my bills and the rent. I have tried to find work, but due to my age,54, it seems that nobody wants to hire me, at least that is the way it seems. I am still trying to find a job, but have no immediate hope of finding one in time to keep from being homeless, or without utilities, if I can manage to pay the rent. My wife is sick at the present time and we can't afford medication  for her. We are recieving food stamps, so at least we do have something to eat. If you can help please do.

I am a mother of two, 2years old and 14months.  My 14 moth girl is under going genetic testing, orthopedic surgery and therapy.  Due to all of her many doctors appointments including those in california I had to stop working my full time job last November to keep up with all appointments.  My boyfriend and father to my two children has continued to worked a full time.  We were just able to make ends meet for the last few months, but this month we are now so far beneth water we can bearly breath.  We moved into the home we are in in August 2006 we have not been able to funish our home yet, we managed to purchase a couch, but no table to eat at, my boyfriend and I are sleeping on an air mattress that we have to re-air half way through the night because it doesn't hold air and my son sleeps on a mattress and my daughter sleeps in a playyard we found at a thrift store.  We don't have any family members that have extra money to help us out in our situation.  So I have been forced to turn to the kindness of strangers to help us out.  My boyfriend has too much pride to ask for help so I have left him in the dark about this and my asking strangers for help.  I'm not asking for a particular amount of money just what ever you can give.  If a dollar is all you can afford then please help us out it wold be greatly appreciated.  I know there are people out there who would like to help but are uncomfortable with sending money, if that is the case a gift card for Walmart would help out alot so we can get food and diapers for the kids.  Since this is the only place we can get food and things the children need all at the sametime.

I really dont know what to say or what to type. Well here I go, I'm a father of two beautiful children & married to a beautiful and very loving wife; yes I am blessed "THANK YOU LORD" for my Family. I have tried for 3 months to make money. Which brings me here, we have fallen 3 months behind on my bills ($3,600) & 1 month on the rent ($1,000) totalling $4,600 dollars. I dont have a sad story "Thank you Lord", but yes we are in need of help. Yes I typed it WE NEED HELP, any Help. Weather its with $1 or any amount, the buttom line or what I'm trying to say is that my family & I are in a bad situation and heading to a worse situtaion. I'm in search for a new job, but we just dont have time not to pay the bills. I've been on several interviews and been unsuccessful. I have no pressure tactics or anything, the only thing we have is prayer and patience, for the Lord always pulls us through; by using other people to help others.

I coached Special Olympics for 4 years until I had the accident. I am  raising my 5 year old daughter. I have worked an many projects including assisting in a wildlife reservation to treat & release injured animals.

I started a local group that encourages Students to stay abstinant  until marriage and away from illegal drugs. I enjoy cartoons  and reading with my Daughter and she would love to continue Karate/Gymnastics but there is no more money. She recieved her first Yellow belt recently Nov. 17, 2006. I am so proud of her and she tells everyone she prays for her Daddy everyday to get well.

She is my little fireball and is not bashful  at meeting people.

In 2002 I had an accident and I was making a very good living. I had been married since 1998. After our resoueces ran out and many garage sales , my wife left me for another man. She married him and then he got sick with ms and met a nother boyfriend that worked on the road, therefore i am raising my 5 year old  alone. I have no money coming in and after selling heirlooms and old antiques 2 1/2 years later I finally lost my house. I am in chroonic pain and am still having trouble finding pain management Physicians.A family of a mopther who had a home allowed us to move in her but I am still tryign to get custody. I have no income. I have seen different doctors and now finnally I am waiting for my disability. I was a Professional Clown and I am a  Licensed Minister.
I need $1,500 for the custody fees to have peace of mind, because my Daughter Mom has told me several times her Mom yells at her and left her alone before. I also need a small loan till my disability back pay comes in would be appreciated so I can keep thelights on and the therent paid. I am willing to sign a contract to pay back every penny and give references of my integrity. I coached special olympics for 4 years and was a Games Director. I did work for D.C.F. as an independent provider with Developmental services, but as my condition gets worse weekly. I had so much trouble getting the right medical care, because my accident happened at work , therefore I couldn't use my own insurance and would've if i could've because my Doctor was  super busy the day of my forst visit after the accident. Unfortuanately I had a smaller accident and had a fractured wrist seeeing the same doctor, so he thought it was a routine visit apparently, because when I went back in Dec. He said he would order an M.R.I and continue treating me. He later wrote me a letter explaining the mistake, because he failed to make any notes pertaining to my back and neck. Worker's Comp screwed me and totally stopped all my benefits.That's when my wife left me to make it own my own.  I was still in alotof Pain and I didn't know the extent of the damage to my Back and neck. I have had trouble since. If anyone knows where I can go for help or has any ideas. I am willing to share my profits when my inventions get recognition if anyone can help me financially get thses inventions off the ground. I recently was selected to be published in "The International Of Who's Who In Poetry. And will be featered with one of my poems being read by a professional voice major on a 33 track (Tract for each Poet)three volume CD poetry Collection. These poems I hope ii can do something with are from the past.
Anyway if somone can help me I would appreciated. i am frustrated at the system and if it weren't for the lord( Who ministerds to me throughHis word daily and fills me with his peace of eternal life ) I would have ended my life, but my obligation to my daughter has kept me going.

The reason I need help is to try to get my life back on track. when you are down it is hard to go forth and concentrate. I have the peace of the lord to keep me from going insane, but that doesn't pay the bills.

I used to colenteer alot doing charity work as a professional Clown and I would like to get back in it in some way, but the pain is dso severe i can't concentrate. Getting the right medical help has really been difficult.

I am a veteren who served overseas during the beriut bombings in 1984 I was in Turkey near Sirera at the time. It took 8 months to get a Scheduled M.R.I. whenWorkmans comp dropped me. and then we didn't get a good reading so we had to be rescheduled, so I went to a private facility to get the M.R.I.which took another few months.

I am still having trouble getting help.

I would love to get my Daughter in Some type of acting and voice lessons, because she has a beautiful voice.

If only I was directed in the right way maybe I could get my life on track. I  haveexhausted All my resources.

My friend said he would be willing to put up some rare brand new still in the box Nascar dicast Cars 1:24 and 1:18 scale. He is really sick as well and doesn't have the energy to sell them, but will if he can get a good price and is willing to help me then.

I mean they are rare 1st Edition Nascar Dicast. He has some rare beautiful Porcelain Dolls He'd sell to help me, that was His Mom's before she passee away. He doesn't have the time and I don't know where to start. You have to have a bank account to sell on e-bay and we don't have enough money now to open a bank account.

I really don't know where to go for assistence. I came across this site after years of frustration and pain typing in help for single dads. Again any ideas.

 On  Halloween while we visited houses my Daughter who is so cool and amazing. She showed her gratite when she got candy by sharing a bit of wisdom with the candy givers.

Here it goes; I hope it doesn't offend anyone, b ut it is the truth what she shared.

she wouold say at first"trick or treat, then after she recieved candy she would say"The devilm is the trickster but jesus is my treat ,Thank you for giving me something good to eat. and some would actually give her more candy. Yelp we have plenty of sweets, just Pray that opportunities present thermselves so we can again make a difference in our community.

I have looked for government grants online but I keep getting linked to guides that you have to pay for which is ridiculous since why should I pay to find government grants if they themselves are free. Luckily, I found this site and hoping to find something that I can use. Hello. My name is Mandi. Like a lot of low income families in portland, I am a single mother to a beautiful boy named Chevy James or CJ. We are struggling now to make endsmeet. I need some help. Not a large some of money but something to help us get rent this month and a payment to the phone company so it doesnt get shut off. I made most of it up on my own for rent. I am in need desperately for 100.00 towards rent and 70.00 towards the phone bills. $ 170.00  Here is why: My apt complex's new owner is trying to get rid of all the older residents like myself especially since I am on unemployment and struggle to make rent on time for my son and I. I pay 525.00 for rent, my unemployment is 552.00 but that's hard to do when you have a little boy who eats more then foodcard gives anymore and also diapers and everyday expenses you encounter with a toddler. My apt is moldy since i moved in, i have been told of a new unit twice and they have been given away. I have one available next month so it is urgent that i make my rent this month, get into a healthy apt in the unit across from mine and my son will get better since getting pneumonia during this last month. It has held my work search up because he was sent to the ER two nights and then had problems with various antibiotics so its been hard to get arround to much of anything this month as far as work goes.  Please I urge you I dont need much and I will even settle for 100.00 for rent if it comes down to it. Just please god please help us get out of this hellish place and on the road to self suffeciency. I am almost there but my local services are not available due to so many people out there who can wait at four a.m. to get rent assistance. I cant do that not with a one year old. :*( I also cant wait around hoping i win a lottery for rent assistance either. I call human solutions everymonth. I am a responsible caring mom, I have items to sell or trade JBL car amp, baby items/toys he's outgrown, Piaa fog light systems, dvds, pretty prom dresses in perfect condition or use towards donations if I am awarded my AIDE requested amount.

I am a twenty six year old single mother of three children ages 10, 8 and 5. I am divorced from a very abusive man. I worked for the last two years at a company that builds submarines here in Connecticut. Unfortunately, the company is losing work and a month ago I was laid off from my job along with over 500 others. My oldest daughters father does not pay me any child support whatsoever. My other childrens father does but only when he wants to. I am currently taking classes to become a entry-level paralegal since the carrer I tried to establish at Electric Boat went up in flames.

I am in need of help. I worked for 20 years, never missing anytime except when my parents passed away or had vacation time to work on my house. I became unemployed in July of 2006 after working for a company that closed it doors in my location. I appealed to them to sign up with the government to agree to the job loss situation where the benefits would be extended but to no avail. I have found that here noone cares about job experience anymore, its all about the piece of paper (either a degree or certification). Here is the kicker though, due to my job being closed for good and thats why I became unemployed, I was able to go back to school for my MCSE certification. The problem with it is that its conflicting with work schedules so my school is keeping me from getting hired anywhere. What I need help with is living expenses while in school so I could get my certification and thus be able to get that good job. We have stayed pretty close on out bills to this point but have fallen behind slightly now. Any assistance would ne most appreciated. Thank you for your help in advance.

My name is Michelle,I have a had a very dificult time,the las fes years of my life,it's jus been oe thing after abother abd I am ready seriously,just to give up. I'm serious need of financial help and moral support...My car is about to be repossed and Ihave several fines that i have to pay before I lose my license,and right now i've been looking or a job for about a month ,because i lost my job a month ago due to unfortunate circumstabces,so thereore i cannot pay on my car,my sinsurance and several other things,i was already strugglig before i lost my job but i at least had some income. Hi, my name is Maria and i am a single parent of one beautiful daughter. The past few years have been absolutely dreadful and i have had nothing but bad luck. I have lost my home and had to go into sheltered housing which was full of drug addicts and drunks and it really did my daughter no good at all. I have found accomadation now but i cannot afford to pay the rent so i will probably be homeles again soon. As well as that i have got divorced, lost my job because of the housing problem and i see no way out of this awful mess. If i could only get a job i would not ask for help, but i cannot find any work and now i face eviction from my home. I feel so in despair and i know that there are other people much worse off than myself. If anyone can guide me in the right direction and possibly tell me how to go about rebuiding my life and how to get financial help i would be forever in their debt. I would help someone in my potition if i had the means and if i ever get out of this rut, i will prove it for sure. PLEASE PLEASE help me..

     I have been having problems for the past 3 years. First I was on medication for i year that made me ill and a major side effect of depression. I became chronically depressed but basically fuctioal. Then a family crisis caused an acute depressive episode and post traumatic stress. Well a supervisor made it campain to terminate me and he finally succeeded. I am now a single mother of 2, unemployed and uninsured. I also have many problems with my home. My septic system needs replacing, I have electrical problems and have not had hot water in my house for 2-3 month There are many other problems. Ineed a new roof ect ect. If you can help me I would truley appreciate it. I am not good about asking for help but I am feeling pretty desperate at this point. Please don' be a scam and if you are please stop here because this is hard enough without being scammed.
