I never thought I would end up like this. I was known to always help whoever was in need, friend or stranger, but now I am the one in distress. My goal here is to first find help and then dedicate a good portion of my time helping others to ease out of situations like mine.

I got sick a few months ago and have been unable to work since. In a few days, I will have no place to stay and probably no car. I owe money left and right and have been relying on assistance from church and on friends' generosity. But, there's so much church and friends can do. Rent is ten times the cost of food!

I am here to get all the tips, pointers, and advice I can. I need to find a job I can do asap. Thanks to everyone who makes this place a bastion of hope.

I would like to know how I might be referred to a doctor for my lower back, since I am a self pay patient.

Aidpage group discussing "Vocational Rehabilitation"...

Feel free to participate in this public group space.

Two easy ways to do this:

  1. Add a comment or a question here - on this page... or on any other page in this space.
  2. Or, if you want to start a separate thread - make a new page.

Either way is good - the important thing is your participation. On Aidpage, people support each other by speaking out and by paying attention to each other - as simple as that.
