Hi, I am the mother of three kids and I have one child that went to Heaven last year 11/25/2006. That is the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life. I would have rather been living on the streets with nothing than to lose my babyboy. He was born chronically ill. He had a kidney transplant 03/28/2006 and passed 11/25/2006. My situation now is not too good. I am working a part-time job, 24 hours a week. I don't know how I am going to get Christmas presents this year. I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

We are a low income family looking for assistane to help us make it! Ok let me get a little bit more into detail on how we need help. My husband is a Iraqi veteran he is 27 yrs old and is now disabled he was injured in iraq, and when he came home was discharged from the military. Hi, my name is Shelly.  I have tried to get my insurance co. to approve gastric bypass surgery for me and they will not do it.  I have diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, asthma, sleep apnea, ocular hypertension and they will still not approve the surgery.  I weigh 390lbs and am 5'6".  I take medications for all my health problems and sleep with a c-pap machine.  I have been morbily obese for 17 years now and have tried every diet on this earth.  I may loose a little weight and then I end up gaining all of it back.  I have been a single mother for 16 years and because of my weight, I have lost out on a lot of special times with my son.  I can't walk very far or do any activity that requires a lot of energy.  I'm so sick of my self.  I don't feel I'm going to live very many more years if I don't get this weight off.  I have worked all my life and put my self through college after my divorce, and received a 2 year medical assistant degree.  Medical Assistant's do not make as much money as you would think they would.  I have struggled year after year to make things meet.  My son has had three surgerys on his legs at the Shriner's Hospital in St.Louis, thank God for them.  He is still having pain in his legs and ankles and he will probably need surgery again on his feet.  It has all been so very stressfull on him and me.  I get depressed about my weight and over eat and it just goes on in a never ending cycle.  I feel almost like I've wasted all my years in obesity.  I don't want to waste the rest of my life.  I pray some times that I will win the lotery so I could get my surgery and help other people too, this is just dreaming and wishful thinking though, it's not reality.  I'm not some one who will beg for money, but does anyone have any suggestions out there.  I'm loosing hope.

I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLETE COLLEGE IN BUSINESS HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT. AND ALSO IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME FIX MY BATHROOM. WHEN I BOUGHT THE HOUSE IT SEEMED GOOD. BUT AFTER 2WKS OF BEING IN THE HOME, I STARTED HAVING ALOT OF PROBLEM BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO GET THEM FIXED.I'M AFRAID OF MY KIDS CATCHING SOMETHING, MY 15YR OLD IS A CHRONIC ASTHMATIC AND ONE OF HIS BIGGEST ALLERGIES IS MOLD. I am basically starting over at 44. This past year I quit my job to help take care of my mother who had surgery and then medical complications. After 4 months in the hospital she passed away. I was self employed and trying to commute each week to visit her before quitting my job. I was not eligible for unemployment or family medical leave, so for 8  months I had no income. During that time I had my own surgery and my self-employed health insurance did not cover as much as I thought. I recently got a job and am trying to play catch up but continue to struggle to make ends meet. Am helping my father adjust to life without my father. I would appreciate any help or info...I have been searching for an attorney also who will take a look at my mom's possible medical malpractice case against a large hospital in L.A.  I REALLY NEEDS HELP WITH MY LIGHT BILL, I JUST PAID 500.00 TO THEM AND THEY WANT THE REST BY 04/08/08 IN WHICH ITS 2,000.00 I KNOW WHAT YOU PROBALY THINKING THAT I DID NOT PAY MY BILLS, WELL BABY YOU WALK IN MY SHOES AND YOU SEE THAT I DID.
