I need your help in getting my unborn son his surgery. he will be due May23rd of 2007. he has a diaphragmatic hernia. This is were is liver, stomach,and intestines are up in his just preventing his lungs from growing. He has a 50/50 chance of living. We live in southern IL, and have to travel to Philadephia, were he will get his surgery. Philadephia has been ranked number 1 in the world for the past 7 years. My son will get his surgery by the number one surgeon in the world, for children. We have alot of hope. We need your help in covering the medical bills. If my son makes it through his surgery he will be in an intensive care until for many months. He will be put on a ventalor,feeding tube, and a ecmo machine to help give him oxygen.When he is able and better, then we will beable to return home with our beautiful baby boy Landen Matthew Hayden. Thank you so much for your time. It is so hard going through this. I'm only 22 years old, and my husband is 24 years old, this is our first baby, and its very heartbreaking.

I am single diasable mother of an 9yr old boy. We live 573.00 and 189.00 childsupport when his dad decides to send it. We are hurricane rita victims. we lost everything including car, Fema denied to help with car because i lacked insurance at the time. I pay medical out of pocket every month because medicaid does not pay for pain management. Which i need to go to so i can get out of bed to finish raising my son. I am 44yrs old and i have bones of a 95yr old women, have a leaking valve to heart,spurs through out my spine and neck,herinated disc,etc. There is more.If i could work i would be. JUST CAN NOT. Any kind of help would be deeply appreciated. NOW WE HAVE TO BE OUT OF THESE TRAILORS AT END OF MONTH. WE STILL HOMELESS AFTER ALMOST 2YRS. NO WAY TO PAY THE RENT PRICES NOW.

There's often a blank stare faced at me when I speak of helping others when you have no money. You know,the "are you crazy" stare. (and yes,it helps to be at least a wee bit crazy!)

For those who believe in God let me help you a little on this subject concerning God and His plan:

There is a blessing in helping others !

For those who have no interest in finding JOY it's ok to move on to another site here at AIDMATE.COM,I know there are non-christians who get irritated at a posting by a christian and we don't want that.

 Please remember we wish you love,joy,peace and understanding also.

It's ok to stay though. I don't speak what I call "christianese",that means there is so much religious jargon that you can barely make out the point of the conversation.

To me God is the owner of a hospital for sinners,not a museum for saints.(A Saint,I ain't!) But I love God and must share.He does make a difference in lives every minute of the day.

OK! Here we go,

First you need to be willing to "think outside your situation."

Consider the person in your life who is going through MORE than you are and you just wish you could help.

Offer them a positive attitude,a listening heart,help with the dishes, work with them to explore possibilities that just may be the answer they need.

Can you help with the maintenence of a car (the type of help that does not require money like installing a part they already have or evaluation of a problem with the understanding you have no money to offer but you'd like to take a look at their car/truck for them? Who knows? Maybe you can find a way to keep them running through Christmas at least?)

Are you someone who can safely care for a child to give a working,stressed out parent some free time when they are not working?

Is there a chance you could add a little more milk to the macaroni and cheese and have them over for supper and chat without mentioning your own distress? (this will take a goal of self control,I understand)

If they have snow and you have time could you at least shovel a small path to the mailbox especially for diabled ,elderly or sick neighbors?

You don't have to say a word,just do it. In fact,it is fun trying not to get caught doing something good! (my children and I used to do this alot during the year)

Do you know the neighbor has no washing machine and can only get to the laundry once a month?

Do you know someone who is sick and has not been able to do family chores for a few days?

Walk right in, start working,insist they find something to do besides ask you what you're doing.

If there are too many dishes and YOU have a dishwasher ,rinse the dishes,pile them carefully in a clothes basket ,take them home,get them washed and return them,help put them away.

Yes,this takes effort but even if you are having a little depression you will find this is an excellent use of time and friendship.

And maybe someday when you are sick,someone will do this for you.

It happens. I know.

Because someone once did this for me when I was sick !

 I felt so blessed ...and loved.

Have you considered offering to launder the most needed clothing at no charge if you do have a washing machine?

Explain of course they will need to provide the soap.

If they insist they have no soap either then you may want to help them understand how to use SHAMPOO for clothing cleaning! If they have no shampoo make it a goal to say a prayer for them,sincerely,and watch that soap come in.It happens by faith.

(First you fill the tub with water.Then you put shampoo in ,let it agitate and THEN put your clothing in. Do not overload,the clothing must have room in between the clothing for the water and soap to get in or it won't be able to clean!)

Ok. I am going through a tough time and would like to know if I can get some information from some of you. I am a 19 yo. single mother, of a beautiful baby boy. I recently got out of an abusive relationship, Vincents father. He is now in jail for about a year. I am living with my father, and working 45+ hours a week, paying $125.00 a week for daycare, and things that Vincent needs. I plan on going to school in April but I will need some assistance. I am barely getting by with the money I make and the daycare I pay for. I owe $3,000.00 in bills from my last apartment with my X, not including the medical bills from my son. I am in such a jam and very depressed. I want to be able to provide for Vincent on my own. And have a good life. I just don't know how I can get started. It seems like I will never get to where I want to be. I really need to know how I can get my life and Vincents life together (besides marrying a rich guy! HAHA!) If anyone can help send me in the right direction on aid or anything I would really appreciate it. I live in Florida and I am on the waiting list for daycare assistance, through ChildCare Res. Network, but I asked the woman on the phone how long I would be waiting and what is the longest she has seen someone wait, and she told me up to 3 years. So I am very stressed about my life! Hi I am a working mom with 3 beautiful children, one of which has Asperger syndrome, which is a form of Autisim. I work from home doing medical transcription and also homeschool my child with Aspergers. My oldest daughter just recently moved to Colorado after having an auto accident, so I am also trying to help her find another vehicle also. I work very hard to make a living for my family but sometimes money gets tight making it very hard.
