Is this suppose to be about me?  If so, I was born and raised in Minnesota.  Married my high school sweetheart and then moved to Colorado.  Had my only child there, a son.  Moved to San Diego during my divorce.  My family had moved there many years earlier.  Met and fell in love with my soul mate.  Spent many years in the San Diego area.  Got sick ans spent 4 months int the hospital with APS.  Lost left leg b/k amputation and vision in right eye due to APS.  Moved to Morth Carolina as my husband was from here and needed to be near his sick parents.  Lost my husband in 2005 from Pancreatic Cancer.  I need help with getting his benefits from the VA.  Can anyone out there help me?

HI MY NAME IS JENNIFER AND IAM A SINGLE MOTHER OF TWIN 2 YEAR OLD BOYS THAT WERE BOTH BORN PREMATURE AND SPENT A MONTH IN NICU.  ONE OF MY  SONS  WAS BORN WITH A HOLE IN HIS HEART WHICH MADE HIM SICK WHEN HE WAS 2 MTHS OF AGE , HE SPENT 22 DAYS IN BURLINGTON HOSPITAL FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE, THE DOCTORS DID NOT THINK HE WOULD LIVE, HE WAS ON KIDNEY DYIALASIS AND SUFFERED SIGNIFICANT BRAIN DAMAGE, THEY CALLED HIM A MIRACLE BABY AND MANAGED TO LIVE I BELIEVE WITH THE HELP OF THE VIRGIN MARY.FROM HIS BRAIN DAMAGE HE NOW IS LEGALLY BLIND, HE HAS SOMETHING CALLED CVI CORTICAL VISUAL IMPAIRMENT, BASICALLY THE NERVES IN HIS BRAIN ARE DEAD IN THE PART THAT GIVES YOU SIGHT. 4 MONTHS LATER HE HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY AND SINCE THEN IT HAS BEEN ONE STRUGGLE AFTER ANOTHER, HE NOW IS ALMOST 3 YEARS OLD AND THRY ARE SAYING THAT HE HAS AUTISM, WE HAVE SPEND MANY NIGHTS AND DAYS AT HOSPITALS AND DOCTORS, HE RECIEVES THERAPY 6 TIMESA A WEEK AND WE ARE NOW HOPING TO PUT HIM IN A SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. I WORK PART TIME AS A WAITRESS AND JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY TRUCK NEEDS A TRANSMISSION, I CANNOT  AFFORD TO FIX IT . THAY ARE SAYING $1,000.00 . WITH OUT MY VECHILE I DONT KNOW HOW I COULD BRING TO HIS DOCTORS APPTS WHICH ARE 2 HOURS AWAY AT LEAST 3 TIMES A MONTH AND JUST EVERYDAY LIVING, I DONT KNOW HOW I WOULD SUPPORT MY SONS WITH NO WAY TO WORK AND BACK .I LIVE IN THE ADIRONDACKS, UPSTATE NY, AND EVERYTHING IS SO FAR AWAY, I FEEL LIKE A HORRIBLE MOTHER RIGHT NOW, I HAVE NO HELP AND I AM BEGGING FROM MY HEART IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OR KNOW ANY RESOURES THAT CAN HELP ME. i am a 50 year old male,i work,dont have much,dont owen a house lost it a few years back with everything else(gotsick)but anyway lets make this short.iam in need as everybody else,my wife cant work,she tried but cant physlcally and mentaly. also we are now taking care of my bother-inlaw.he is also disable and cant work.we are not getting help from anywhere, not on welfare,just me working.....please all i need is to get a month jump start

I'm in pain physically and emotionally while I'm typing this so I'm hoping what I have to say comes out right. I'm going through a tremendous amount of issues right now and I really need some help but have the most trouble finding somewhere to turn. I have a rare pain syndrome that is not commonly heard of. It's called vulvodynia. It causes me excruciating  & debilitating pain. At one time I experienced it almost every second of every day for the last several years. There's no cure or even any sure way of knowing the exact cause....it makes you miserable and unsure of ur life from day to day. I also suffer from depression.

 The vulvodynia pain, I guess u could say is comparable to nerve damage pain (which is in fact what it seems to be in my case). I don't know if I'll ever be free of this situation again but for the time being the only thing most recently that has been helping me to function enough and not suffer this every single day as before is the Cymbalta medicine I've been taking. I also believe in holistic methods but nothing else so far helped relieve the extreme pain and I have a young child to care for. I have tried many many medications & have been & felt like somewhat of a guinea pig. This situation started for me around the age of 19 and I am now in my 30's (Off and on during that period of time). I cannot work because of these disabling situations and I receive SS disability once a month.

 I tried to fill my prescription for my medication and for reasons beyond my control (some error of some sort), my insurance that covers it was off and will take at least a month to be corrected. My medicine costs $163 that I don't have. Making matters worse, I am in a period in which the pain is at it's worse (which happens sometimes) and this is the worse time for me to be without my medicine. I can't find anyplace to get it free or get samples. I NEED HELP.

 I am behind in my rent $227. I have bills I am behind in that is $191. My glasses are old and broken (I'm very nearsighted and the type of glasses I get cost me $350-$400), My child's birthday is here, I have no money to give him anything right now and that in and of it self is so hard (he's a great kid and I love him dearly)and I have little money for the basics of food (which has just been getting more and more expensive). My medicaid was cut a long time ago because they sent the recert to the wrong address, I've tried to apply since then and all I get is the run around. Food stamps is the same thing. I'm just TIRED and I neeed HELP PLEASE SOMEBODY. If u hear me and u can, please help. I am humble and appreciative. Thank You
