You must see this if you like to help causes or others.......

I found this really neat website where you can help many wonderful causes with the click of a mouse. I am sort of new to this web thing so you may already be aware of it but thought I'd add it anyway. I have a little girl with Cerebral Palsey which makes it difficult for me to do as much hands on volunteering as I would like. We visit the nursing homes, send cards and make little gifts for others, but as far as volunteering onsite, I have found it hard in my situation. This is a great way to do something special and not even hae to leave your home.

It's called care2connect and it has petitions for an array of causes. Pick one, pick a few or make a day of it. Either way, your helping. It's also something great to do with your chidren. A wondefu way to spend time with them and teach them compassion, caring and kindness. My daughter and I are going to spend some time this evening working on some. It is the holiday season and we all can make a difference with the simple act of kindness, no matter how small and it is something we can all do. Thank U

Please, also see my homepage and see if you have any of the information I am searching for. I woud deeply appreciate it. God bless and happy holidays

If there is someone out there that would listen to my plight, open their heart and reach out to help me in any way that they can. With prayer, advice and or financially it would answer my prayer.

Four and a half years ago I was married to my then loving wife of 19 years. I was then and will allways be first and foremost a child of the most high God Jesus Christ. My wife began to withdraw her affection and love for me. She didnt seem happy. I began praying over her and my 11 year old son every morning before work. I asked God to heal the growing space between my cherished wife, my girl.... I asked him to change me, my life or to do what ever is nessessary to bring me closer to Him and to my wife. God spoke to me, to my heart and said to hold on and trust Him.... Almost the next day my life seemed to change. Things started to happen. Good things at the time they happend. Months past by and we decided to move to my wifes home town. To make her happy I agreed and things started looking better and better. God had a plan. I trusted Him fully. God found me a new job at a place I dreamed of my entire life. I was so happy and in love with my wife... Then she wasnt happy once more. I was stunned but still trusted in God. Within one month my wife was unhappy and was telling others of her dislike for me and our marrage. I loved her. I loved my son. I loved my marrage. And most of all I loved and trusted God.

One day before my Baptisim, I was told by my Pastor that My wife would file for divorce that next coming wensday. I was crushed. I asked God Why? I trusted You God. Why? My son suffered so much. He didnt understand.

Over the next four and a half years, I have struggled to pay my bills. I suffered bankruptsy. I lost security clearences at work which made me almost loose my job. Also it made me loose two promotions at work. I have watched my son be torn apart by a hurtful woman, that by this time, I didnt even know.... My future looks dim once more at work at the brink of layoff.

But after all this I still have the love of a wonderful God, His Son and His Spirit. I will allways pray for My ex wife. I have forgiven her. I trust the Lord that He will come to my rescue. People can take material things away but they cant take away my dreams. I will keep dreaming, hoping and praying for God in His way to help me through others, through His love and most of all, for His wisdom.

I pleed for anyone that reads this to help me. Please pray about it. Please ask God to help me. If God puts it on your heart, Please help me. Amen!

FOOD FOR YOUR SOUL

A Hug Certificate for You!

This poem is very sweet. It will be interesting to see who sends it back. Forward this on and back. I'm counting on you not to let me be the number one type person on the list below, but if you've got better things
to do, then at least you'll prevent me from being the number six type. Thanks!

If I could catch a rainbow I would do it just for you
and share with you its beauty
On the days you're feeling blue.

If I could build a mountain

You could call your very own;
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.

If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea,
But all these things I'm finding
are impossible for me.

I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair,
But let me be what I know best,
A friend who's always there.

                    This is a Hug Certificate!!

Send One to All Your Friends You Think Deserve A
Hug (Which, Hopefully Includes the Person Who
Sent It to You).

You might send it to your enemies as well! It'll really tic 'em off!

If you don't receive this back .. nobody likes you, and they wish you'd stop bugging them.

If you receive this back 1 time ... Open up! Find more friends, enemies, or enemies pretending to be friends ...

If you receive this back 2 times ... You're off to a good start ... unless you sent it to yourself. that's cheating!

If you receive this back 3 times. You're a good friend

If you receive this back 4 times ...... You are popular,
-- I wanna be just like you.

If you receive this back 5 times or more. There are Angels watching over you....

If you get this back many more times than that, for cryin' out loud, get off the computer and get a life!

Daffodil Days is one of ACS' oldest and most beloved fund raisers, it has been around for 30 years. The program stands for the fight against Colo-rectal Cancer, with the fund raising ending in March during Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month.
Colo-rectal cancer is the third most common cause of cancer and cancer death in both men and women alike in the US. Currently, about 10% of all cancer diagnoses in the US is colo-rectal cancer.
In 2006, 150,000 people will be diagnoses with colo-rectal cancer and more than 55,000 died. These numbers can be cut in half if Americans will just follow the ACS' screening recommendations. This very thing is one of the things that Daffodil Days is fighting for.
Daffodil Days was created to represent the four fronts of fighting cancer:
Research
Since ACS is the nation's largest non-governmental organization that funds cancer research, they are at the front lines of the most innovative, groundbreaking research going on in the world of cancer research.
ACS researchers have won 38 Nobel prizes and helped save thousands of lives.
Education
ACS prides itself on the cancer prevention and early detection campaigns that reaches millions of people in thousands of communities around the country.
Advocacy
ACS works hard with lawmakers to make sure that cancer funding stays a top priority. They also lobby to make sure that cancer patients continue to get the support they need from insurance companies and other resources. Advocacy is about the quality of treatment for the patients and quality of life for the survivors.
Patient Services
As I have mentioned before, ACS have many programs that are offered to cancer patients and their families. They believe that no one should have to go through it alone.
So, how does Daffodil Days work? It is a three month campaign from January to late March. Everyone is welcome to take part, from grade school kids to business owners. For every donation given a beautiful bunch of daffodils is delivered to the donor in March, making the community a picture of spring.
Why the Daffodil? The daffodil is one of the first flowers of spring and represents hope and renewal. The hope we all have for a world that is one day when cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease.
With every dollar given and beautiful flower delivered, we come closer to finding a cure and continuing the important services that the American Cancer Society has grown to be known for. For more information on this and its many other programs, please visit www.cancer.org .

Mortgage Help

To whom it may concern,

I am writing this in hopes to get a little help, I have never had the need to ask for help, however I do not seem to have any other choice.

Last year, my father had a stroke, whiule he was living in Houston, tx.  I had to fly out there, and take care of him for awhile, and then bring him back to Charlotte, with me. To say the least, It was a very difficult experience, personnally, and financially.  I had to take so much time off of work, in order to care for him, that I fell behind with my bills. Now that I have him in an assisted living home, I have been trying to find a second job.  It is proving more difficult finding something that does'nt conflict with my day job than I thought it would be. So, now I am scraping and scrounging the best I can, to try to save my house. I'm not writing this just for the hopes of money, but for any thoughts or ideas that may be able to help my situation.

3 kids with no dad

This year has been pretty hard for us... My 3 sons have been left with thier mother to survive on thier own.

Things started out with me falling from the stairs and breaking my anckle, then I was laid off work.  I lost our appartment and had to move back in with my parents.  Renting a room for all 4 of us is not an easy thing to do.  I am now back to work and tring to get out on my own but with 3 kids to feed, buy clothing for, keeping a roof over head, and paying for babysitting is not an easy thing to do.

What I am asking for is to make the end of this year just a bit eaiser.  Please if you can find it in your hearts to help a faimly in need... please do so.  your kindness will be paid back to you by god

Hello ~ I am a helper who needs some help. I am in real need of dental care. I hardly make any money although I really try and like to work. I saved up money in the past to get work done on my teeth but it wasn't nearly enough. My teeth are making me very sick. I was told several years ago that it would cost about $6,500.00. I am really scared and can hardly eat (especially good whole foods)
