My son is in Christian rehab facility located 362 miles from where we live, he tried to commit suicide, they say he has a mental disorder, i have to rent a car every saturday to go and have family therapy, and come home. my van broke down, needs motor, so i borrow my brothers through the week for work, i have to pay $600 by friday or move out, i also have a little girl who's birthday is also on friday, she will be 9, we used to get food stamps and tenncare but when i got hired on full time we lost it all, i have ins. but it only pays 70% and it costs $550 per day to keep my son in this program for 90 days, my husband is a full time college student and he works part time, he has bipolar, borderline personality disorder also, which is probably why my son is sick. we are good people, we go to church regular and we don't want a handout, just a loan to get through this devestating time we are having, if anyone can help us please email me at shirleyjoe@bellsouth.net thanks

Hi, my name is Richard and I am a divorced father of two little girls. I was recently laid off from my job and became homeless. Right now I sleep in my car and stay with friends on and off. I am currently looking for a new job and in dire need of any kind of financial assistance. Currently I am unable to pay child support,waiting for court date to arrive to address this and my exwife will not let me see my children due to this.

Any kind of financial assistance recieved would be greatly and sincerely appreciated for this can help me at least to find a studio apartment on Long Island which is in NY.

I just was approved in May for disability,, only took 3 months, VERY lucky on that,,BUT it is very hard to live on $600 a month– Pay $400 rent Then utilities etc…

What I am looking for is pledges to help me purchase  cotton fabric, flannel, solid colors and kids prints… I love sewing and donate many items to various hospitals, homeless shelters , etc. Just something to keep me busy and feel like I am making a difference in someones life..

I have also sent 100's  of cool ties overseas for the troops.

I also need yarn to make infant and toddler and youth hats to keep kids warm during the cold weather ...

I don't know what to do...I am a single mother, working to make ends meet for my daughter, but I just don't know what to do.  I have a B.A. and a great career but in the Northern VA area, that is not enough.  I am salaried with a very demanding job that doesn't allow me to work part-time.  I have no family up here so even if I did get a part-time job, I would be working just to pay for childcare.  I don't know what to do.  I have tried to apply for federal assistance but they pretty much laughed in my face.  I make way to much to qualify for any financial assistance, but not enough to make ends meet.  I am currently behind on my rent, car payments, and all of my bills and I just can't catch-up.  It seems like you have to be either extremely homeless or extremely rich, there is no in between, it is so frustrating sometime..If anyone has any sugeestions, please advise.  Grants, charitable organizations, anything....HELP

Hi, My name is mary graves. my email is listed. I just recieved Matthew Lesko's Free Money, How to Get Goverment Grants for the Whole Family. I will share any information from the book, about hud housing, etc, that you may have questions about.

     Also , I am disabled, and looking to complete my education. Right now, it is one thing at at time. I am looking for a family, towards the east or an organization to remove me from my home, as my husband makes me unhealthy, and I need out, I am abused, etc.

BUT, my dream is to complete my Psy.d. Or Doctorate of Psychology, a current writing course, take a course on how to be a therapist that helps disabled ride horses, and design and build and run a trensitional home for women vics of domestic violence, striving to find somewhere in the book a way to start, online, anywhere. If any woman has found the help to leave, let me know. I will keep uou up on my education. Looks like I will be starting online again, to finish my BA.   Mary Beth. Also looking for friends and others to email to and from pen pals in the same/similiar condition, or another woman willing to put our money together to get out of an abusive home.   

Does anyone know where i may be able to get help for my daughter's 7 children.  This will be the first year my daughter has had to do this by herself.  Last year she had her husband who has since then passed away.  In August my daughter & I went into there home and found her husband hanging from the ceiling fan.  We tried desperately to save him but we couldn't.  It's been hard on her and the children since then.  They get survivors benefits but my son-in-law was only 24 so her didn't work and pay in much.  So, I'm trying to find help.  If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

So I am adding a new item that I found that may or may not make it easier. The IRS lists all charitiable organizations that file tax returns. They do NOT list the contact information or the services they provide.  You would need to search for that through another site. But I amm including the link and instructions on how to search just incase anyone is interested.
