I am a Pastor of my own church for 4 years now. I currently run the prison ministry outreach for my church. I am married 19 years this July. Two grown children(almost) and I love my church and Jesus.

Arkyfaith Church was conceived by the vision of Pastor Deborah M. Bailey to help lost souls find the true path to Christ, by having many outreach programs available. The church was open for operation in February 2004. Since that time it has became an outreach portal in the following areas:

Shut – INS
Youth groups
Prison Ministry
Mentoring program
Bible study by mail
Caring card ministry
Feeding the hungry worldwide
Christmas cards to the troops
Other charitable events

Our current project: Bibles for prisoners

Our plan is to reach prisoners worldwide and offer bibles and bible studies to those who are forgotten by society. Our project also includes our caring card ministry, which is our initial contact with such prisoners. A postcard and gospel tract is mailed to each prisoner. We acquire their names through varies means, prayer requests from loved ones, other churches or non profit organizations that work with prisons worldwide. The status of said prisoner is not of concern, meaning that any prisoner qualifies for our program. Once said prisoner has received his or her care card envelop a postcard already pre stamped and addressed to the church can be returned for our services.

Our problem lies within the means of financial donations which are currently limited and fall well below operating standards.

The purposed amount we are seeking with your particular institution is $1000. Our total yearly cost of this endeavor is estimated at a little over $72,000, especially with the rising costs of stamps and supplies. This amount is sure to double within the next 5 years.

Reaching he lost is our life mission. No one can be spared at any cost.\

Thank you for your generous consideration and time

Recently unemployed, Single mother of 4, going back to school

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Jen.  I am a 27 year old single mother of 4.  (Abigail 5, Zachariah 4, Christopher 3, and Joshua 1) I was fired from my job nearly 2 months ago because I left work in the middle of my shift to pick up my son, who was sick at the time, from school.  I've not been able to find work that is willing to work around my need to get off when one of the kids is sick, or needs to go to the doctor.  I am currently receiving unemployment, but because it is less than half of what I was making while working, I am not able to make ends meet.  I am a hard worker when there's work to be done.  I believe in working hard for what you have.  It allows you to appreciate what you have, even more.

I have enrolled myself in Nursing School.  Classes are set to begin January 16, 2007.  I will not be able to attend school, work, and be a mother to my children, all at the same time (childcare is my drawback).  If there is anyone that is willing to provide financial assistance to my family, during the next 7 months, I would greatly appreciate it.  Upon completion of my Nursing Program in June, I will have received enough training, to work in a profession that pays no less than $16/hr.

My children and I have had a year of ups and downs.  Thirteen months ago we became victims of domestic violence.  I immediately had my husband arrested, and taken to jail.  Finding a steady job since then, has been a real issue for me, since I am only 1 person to my 4 children.  When something happens to one of them, I am the only one available to tend to their needs.  At one point this year, I was working 30 hours a week, just to pay the childcare bill, leaving barely anything, if at all, for the rest of my bills and food.  I have borrowed money here and there, but am at the point that I cannot borrow anymore, because I cannot say when I'll be able to pay it back.

I want to make something of myself, and prove to my kids that regardless of how bad things get, as long as you have faith, and believe in yourself, you can rise above it all, and achieve your dreams and goals.  I want my kids to be able to see me graduate in June.  I want to make them proud.  I want to make myself proud.  I know that I can get through the rough times.  There's a light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm going straight for it.

I believe in "Paying It Forward".  Meaning, when someone helps me out, I "Pay It Forward" by helping out 3 other people.  I hope to be at a point this time next year, where I am able to help out several other families for the holidays.

If there's anyone that can help my family and I in our time of need, we will forever be greatful to your kind and selfless acts of generosity.  From my family to yours, God Bless & Merry Christmas!

Go Mamelodi

My name is Jennifer Hall and our church is going on a mission trip to Mamelodi , South Africa (on 2 trips) . One June 28th - July 7th and the second July 5th - July 14th  . Their are 600 people going and I am one of them (I'm going on the second trip). I feel truely blest to be able to have this opportunity  to make a difference in the lives of others . All of the people going are required to raise the funds ourselves . Each of us must raise $3500 . I myself have a family of 6 and we are unable to save much money . I am a stay at home mom with 3 sons and 1 daughter . My husband was just laid off 2 weeks ago because the housing market is so slow , so we cann't really save the money ouselves . Yet this has not discouaged us . Nothing will prevent my inclusion on the trip . If it is God's will the money will be given . I am doing fundraisig in our community and any funds that over and exceed my personal goal of $3500 will be sharred with others attending the mission trip . I will personally pray for each of you that contributes funds to this cause . All proceeds are tax deductable ( federal tax id # 31-1442447 ). To check out our chuch ,go to www.crossroadscommunity.net .  There may be other crossrads that come up , we are in Cincinnati Ohio on Madison Rd. You may also contact me at http://www.myspace.com/jgirlnextdoor .Thank you for your time and may each of you be open to receiving all that is offered to you , in God's name , I pray .

I am 43 years old,I am disabled(C-spine injury),and I can't work as a result from the injury. My husband is the sole provider. We have two children.A girl(26),and a boy(25).Our children are grown now.Our son,his fiance, and their little girl has recently moved back in with us.He is unemployed at the moment. Our son is currently looking for a job.He has applied everywhere! No one is hiring around here.
My husband is 44 years old.He started having seizures about a year ago.We don't know what causes them.He has a new job now,but I do worry that he may have a seizure at any time.He is trying to catch up on our bills but something always sets us back. This is the worst financial crisis that we have been in.I am always on the internet looking for some financial assistance. We don't quallify for foodstamps. He makes too much money. They don't take into account our bills. They said that his salary is more than they allow. My son's fiance goes to our local food bank sometimes for us.We still average over a hundred dollars a week on groceries and supplies.I really don't see how we,along with so many others are supposed to make it anymore.Prices continue to rise on everything!Gas prices are outragious! But the pay doesn't adjust to offset the rising inflation. My hope is that someone out there can read this and other pleas on here and reach out a helping hand.I know that they are scam artists out to take you for money but they are ways to prove that the financial needs are real.Ask for proof of a bill that is behind.(You could black out the account numbers, personal info.,etc..)Get proof of actual needs.Don't just assume that everyone is out for handouts. Some of us are really in a bind and do not know where to turn to.
We used to be the ones who reached out and helped everyone else.My husband was an E.M.T-I and a first responder for years here in our county. He would go beyond the normal to help someone in need.We took in troubled teens with nowhere else to turn.We took up donations at our church to help single mothers that were to young to be parents, but found theirselves alone and abandened by parents, the state, the babies fathers,etc...We never turned them away. Some were very troubled youths, somehow we managed to help them.Almost every one of them were able to get on their feet and move on.We stay in touch often.
I think if eveyone reached into their hearts and tried to help in some small way that the needs of the people of our country would be met.I know that once my husband and I get financially stable again that we will continue to reach out to our community.

TO: ST JOSEPHS MEDICAL CENTER FR: Northern Mindanao Medical Center Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines I am just an ordinary citizen who comes to Northern Mindanao Medical Center (a government hospital) every now and then just to be able to help the less fortunate in the best way I can, by comforting them, providing them their needs if I have the resources. This hospital is a government tertiary hospital with a 300-bed capacity. However, every day there are more than 300 in patients admitted leaving the patients with no other option than to use and consider the corridors of the hospital to stay just so they can be given immediate medical attention. Considering the lack of funds from the government, I would like to seek help from your foundation in any way you can to help expand, develop or whatever you can do to the hospital. Should you want to inquire and get more information, please contact DR. RAMON MORENO, OIC-Chief Medical Professional Staff of Northern Mindanao Medical Center (+638822) 721282 or cell number (+639178410322). I am optimistic that through writing this letter to your organization, it will pave the doorway for you to be interested in helping develop our government hospital. From a concerned citizen: Grace E. 1; 4: Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?
1; 5: Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
1; 6: Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
1; 7: Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
1; 9: Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

1; 8: Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

My name is sharice Johnson. I am making this page in reference to a loving and giving family who attends my church. I felt that the lord was touging at my heart to help them. Well recently Ms. Rhodes  just got laid off of her job due to tax cut.  Ms. Rhodes is a single mom of two beutifull little boys strugling to make it paycheck to paycheck. She was recently trying to save up for a car.  The reason Why I am making this Page is to help her get over these trials. I am asking for the  love and the prayers for this family. I am also asking for a donation, it doesnt have to be a large sum I am only asking for what your heart thinks is right. Anything will HELP! even if you cant help your prayers are welcome too!

I am outreach co-ordinator for Elizabeth's Table/Humphreys St. United Methodist Church.

Our little church in downtown Nashville, Tn. needs $15,000 to continue it's ministry in a neighborhoddthat desperately needs the sevices we provide.

Since our church is located in a low income neighborhood, it is difficult to have members who are able to contribute on a regular basis to support the church. They do however volunteer their time feeding helping out at Elizabeth's Table downstairs where we feed the needy on a daily basis. We average 80-100 meals daily and we give out 200 sandwiches per day.

We spend hardly any money on food. Most of our expenses are utilities, vehicle and building maintenance.

Our pastor is sick with lung cancer and is unable to perform a lot of his duties

We need to keep the doors open. If you would like to help please send a tax deductible donation to:

Need help

I am in need right now. I am married and have two small children. I am behind my rent two months and behind my car payments three months. The landlord is already kicking me out and my car is about to be reposed. I also have medical bills. My wife just had a baby and the insurance does not cover all expenses. I lost my job back in September of 2006 and my unemployment has run out. I am looking for a job, but I cannot find one. When things were good I always helped others and also gave my tithes to my church. If anyone can help or give me good advise I will really be thankful to all of you.

Thanks and God Bless

Our Church is in need of money. I just found out last night that we are just barely making our building payment and salary to our Pastors. We are looking into different options but I thought maybe we could get a love offering from somewhere. Our Church does so much to help the community and families in need and support missionaries. We are all as Church Leaders coming together to find out what was the big setback and making changes to each ministry to help. If anyone could at least help with a love offering it could be detremental in helping our Church survive.

In His name,

Cathy Hedrick

Thanks for taking the time to read!

I recenlty located this website after trying for assistance with our local community.  I am a single parent of three and I am currently struggling to keep my house and a roof over my childrens head.  I am trying to give up smoking cigerettes so that I can put that money to better use but it is very trying.  I have started going to church so that I can become closer with God and look forward to the blessings..as he knows what my needs are.  I am looking for a little assistance to get things caught up and to get ahead instead of going from paycheck to paycheck.  I am currently working full-time and trying to get a prt-time job to help out but with no luck as of today.  I would jsut like some words of encouragement to help me stay on track to reach my goals of raising my children and being able to keep a roof over their head.  God Bless to all who read this and any encouragement or help you may be able to give.

My name is Russ and I'm from CoeurD'alene, Idaho. I have been living in Illinois for the past 6 years with my wife and son. The past 5 years have not been easy for our family. My wife lost a son to colon cancer 5 years ago {21} and just as of last year my wife's daughter {23} was diagnosed with colon cancer. Four weeks after her surgery she developed a secondary malignancy of the brain {glioblastoma multiform}. In January of this year my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. My family has a rare genetic disorder called Turcot Syndrome. The whole situation has taken its toll on our family in many ways.Financially we are basically destroyed. We are physically and emotionally drained. Throughout this ordeal we have been spiritually taxed. We are not, and will not, say anything negative about God. There are just so many questions we have that cannot be answered at this time. It's just that when you face a situation like ours you tend to ask alot of hard questions and there are no easy answers. I have recently met a web master at a church I was going to. He was kind enough help us with a web site that will enable us to tell our story and to find some help for our family. Please feel free to visit the site and to read about us. If you feel you can offer our family some help we would be so grateful. Thank you for reading this. www.prieurfamily.com your welcome to read our story thank you.
