Growing up in a small town, several things stand out compared to the big city scene.  Most of the businesses have been here for a long time so when one of them closes, the impact is harder.  One of my favorite places to get a burger closed when I was 16 and noone has purchased the building or anything.  The location of the building is on the east side of town.  Right now there are no restaurants on this side.  With the high school only 4 blocks away, the idea of having a little restaurant open over there sounds better each time.  The finacial part is what I need help with.  Employees are already lined up to work just need the backing to start up.

I have been struggling with the aftermath of an abusive marriage of 9 years.  I am barely able to keep up with bills and after the holidays it's even harder. I make a concious effort every day to be as productive as I possibly can with 4 children, 2 of which aren't in school yet.  I am a hard working, dedicated, and deserving of assistance, but with medical bills and a destructive relationship on my credit, no institution will loan me anything.  I have exhausted all of my resources in this attempt to save my home, but I am unable and reaching out.

When my father was alive, he said every experience builds a person up for the final.  If that is the case, then I should pass with flying colors.  I have been through enough for my young age and am trying to make a better life for my children.  I didn't have a bad childhood but I missed out on a few things.  Until 6 years ago, I never thought I could stand on my own and then, I was strong enough to stand for my children.

I am Christian Man, dedicated husband, father and servant. I have been an A&P mechanic for over 20 years. I was a Flight Engineer for the United States Airforce and a veteran of the first Gulf War, and presently work for a military contractor.

I am a hard worker and serve as a keyboard player in the worship band at my Church.

I am closing on our first home and I need 10,000.00 for the closing cost. I will be deploying to Iraq after the first of the year and I just want to provide a secure environment for my family while I am away.

Money, what is it?  To those who have it, they say nothing;  but to those who do not have any, they say it's the world.  Everything could be better if we just had money to pay for the things that we need to fix.  Living in Florida my whole life, I didn't grow up with snow outside and a warm fireplace inside.  I found a house in my price range that I just could not pass up.  This house was built in 1927 and for its age is in very good condition.  I just want money to fix my house from the hurricanes last year and again this year.  The leaks in the kids rooms need to be fixed again so they will stop leaking and they can sleep in their beds again.  By then, we will need new beds for them too.  I also want to finish my degree at college since I only have 4 classes left to obtain my AS.  However with 3 children and a house needing to be fixed, money is hard to save on 1 income. 

I am a 26 year old student. I moved to Austin texas at any early age. I was raised by my grandparents (who were wonderful, i was very lucky) My mother is mentally disabled, disorder, my father was also sick and didn't take the responsibility for me. I have worked since my senior year in high school. I found a job at the Children's Hospital of Austin Texas, as clinical assistant. I have worked for this hospital 5 years. Great experience for my degree. I am in school now for nursing. I am now registered in the LVN program and will advance to the RN program associated degree only. (Would and want to continue to get a bachlors degree at UT but can't afford it, at this time) I want to be a RN, working with children. Austin has a great growing hospital i want to be apart of. Of course living in Austin Texas is not cheap. I am struggling so hard. I love my job i work when i can, where it dosen't influence my schooling. I have ADHD, Depression, so its taken me awhile to get through school and its been a struggle. My family trys to help but really they can't. So please help. I am worth the effort, i never steal or try to take things for granted, really.   I am just trying to make a career for my self, and now asking for help. Thanks for listening and your time.

I have been unemployed for four years now and have over 200 reject letters. I am willing to give anything a try. I have over 15 years experience in office work and have done part time and volunteer work to keep myself out there but the older I get and the longer I am out of work the harder it is for me to get a job. I don't have a reliable car so I cannot afford to travel and moving is not an option because all my family are here and I am very close to them. I believe I've already said quite a bit about myself. Maybe I jumped the gun a bit :) Basically, I'm a good person, I chose to have children when I did because I really thought that I had carefully chosen a good, decent, family loving man that would never betray his child. But regardless of who or how they turned out to be, I am so Thankful. I was blessed twice. I could not have asked for more perfect children, and I take pride in being their Mother. Obviously, I am not responsible for their Fathers bad decisions, but I am responsible for making sure that my girls know theirs Fathers love them, and that they were both created out of love. I feel that I am a head up on most single females because I don't believe that I am a victim and refuse to use that as an excuse for my situation.

I choose to believe that we will rise from this situation, with our heads held high. I am proud of the fact that I earn an honest living, I do not try and "use" the system, I don't lie, cheat or steal, and I feel that just because I am asking for the help of others, that does not make me less of a person, a woman or a Mother.

I'm a very dives person that is open to any challenges I'm writing this in Sweden to show that i'm very dives i was one of the people that were chosen to go to Sweden by the Mbekweni Youth Service Program. Ilike Church and like socializing.I'm the baby at our family ihave tow brothers and still live with my parents. 

"Our only hope ls our children and olderfolk," Good God in heaven knows, the "powers that be" sure won't change their ways and help the backbone of america. Things went bad when we started moving Grandpa & Grandma out of the home into oldfolks homes. The kids lost precious teachings that are vital to life. The olderfolk lost their reason to be. All in the name of Bigger, better,faster and longer! We have a vast number of children lost in fostercare, on the street,and in broken homes. And with the great number of functioning olderfolk lets take some of the failing family farms and put them together? This is my idea. The children have not only lost the joys and lessons that Mom and Dad have no time to teach. But what is more, They don't learn how to be Human. Look around, We are in deep we must begin with our children so that when they are "The powers that be" they wil treat their familys with a bit more Humanness. One farm is all we need to start.   A. Hello, I am a Kidney dialysis patient and have been for a year and half now. I was employed with the State of Florida. By me being on kidney dialysis i am not employed now. My daughter is attending college, she is 18 and currently a sophomore. Her name is Sasha. I need someone who can help us with the funding of her books, and returnong to school. As of now i have nothing to get her back up there with. I get paid once a month and after rent and utilities i have no extras. She is majoring in criminal justice. I contacted Alcee Hastings office and the mayor of my city and i can't get any open doors i have been calling and calling with no results!. If at all possible could you please help me with my daughters education. Right now getting a kidney isn't my first priority, getting my daughter through school is! i will go for a kidney later, right now i'm worried about her continuing her education... and i'm at my wits end! I would greatly appreciate it if someone could lend me any kind of assistance or advice!
