How can one stay healthy if one can't get the help needed to do so? All human beings health starts with their mouth. How can we proporly chew our food and eat the correct healthy food in order to help our bodies stay fit and healthy? we need plenty of nuts, and fresh raw veggies in order to keep healthy...our whole bodies are affected if we cannot chew. I feel the dentists are in cahoots with the medical field. If we don't eat right our bodies become ill and deteriorate. So everyone wins correct? No one wants to make sure we all have healthy bodies...that way there is more money in the pockets of the health industries...There are a variety of reasons one wouldn't have credit avail to work with to ensure a healthy mouth or such...but our government is so selfish and doesn't do a phuking thing to help the hard working individual...why would we? Selfishness is a big part of our government...we are too busy fighting and spending money for wars which do not belong to us! Why is the economy so phuked? Selfishness, greed, prestige...Basically Bullshit! Why wouldn't we try to do for our own???????????????????? Simple concept huh!

I am a 34 year old single mother of two in the state fo Maine. Those of you who are from Maine, know of people from Maine, Etc, know that pay scales here are pretty lousy. Due to my second pregnancy my teeth became really brittle and all of my teeth upper and lower back teeth have broken around fillings and are now pretty much broken to the gumlines. I can't afford dental and what little money I do earn full time which is only $7.50 an hour it goes towards making sure my children have what they need which includes dental and medical. I can't afford to have the back teeth pulled out which they need and would like to replace them with something permanant. I can barely eat anything and smiling is so difficult because it's so embarrassing for me and I cry alot because I am single and want so much to get back into the dating scene and meet someone I can be with the rest of my life but Im too affraid. Who wants a woman who won't smile?? Or who wants a woman who does manage a smile have barely any teeth? My gums around my back teeth are really absessed and i have to literally drain them myself just to take the pressure of of them. YUCK! I want to find a better job but this problem with my teeth keeps me back from moving forward. I'm affraid to go to interviews because of my teeth. I'm in pain on a daily basis and go through tons of IB Profin etc. I lose alot of sleep over this and I am highly aggitated by the contant pain which pulsates through my jaw. Do to this problem my health has been terrible. I get headaches and jaw pain and so much more. Is there anyone out there who can give me back my confidence? My Smile? A chance at improving my social life (which is null)my health and feel confident enough to get out there and find a better job.

My name is Melissa. I have 2 lil boys. I'm asking for help or some info on where I can get help for my boys. We live paycheck to paycheck and just making ends meet is hard enough.    My oldest is 7 and he needs some Dental work done. We do have insurance thats pays for part. We will be left with about $500 for the work that needs to be done and it has to be paid up front. One of his teeth are now breaking and I really need to do something about it but don't have the money. I also have a son that is 4 and he starts school next year. Most of his teeth came in looking rotten. Some of them now are giving him problems and we have had them looked at but there is nothing I can get anyone to do unless I have money upfront. His all together after insurances is going to be about $1800. I can show proof of what the insurances company has sent me with these amounts. I have tried to call everywhere I can find and think of and no one knows where will help with dental.

I am a mother of 3 beautiful girls! They are the best thing that ever happened to me but the worst thing that happened to my teeth! When I was younger I always went to the dentist, always took care of them, even had braces but that is where everything went wrong. My local dentist for my braces said I would have them for a year well 2 years later and a modeling contract it was time for them to come off. That was the worst mistake I could have ever made! Boy was he mad, infact so mad he ripped them off and cracked my back teeth were the brackets were. Ever since then it has been very hard for me to go to the dentist because of fear of them hurting me again. Once I became pregnant and the fact that I am allergic to milk came into affect, my teeth slowly chipped, decade, and now are falling apart. I am missing teeth, well the tops, and it is hard for me to eat, let alone smile. I feel like a dirtball when I go to my daughters schools. I do the very best of taking care of them, making sure they have everything they possibly need in this world but can not do anything about my smile! I had to file bankruptcy 2 years ago and can not get a loan to cover the full amount of the cost to exstract all of my teeth and get dentures. Hi! I am hoping to get some help here. My name is Trina. I am a 27 year old unmarried female. I work in the medical field as a certified nurse's aid/patient care technician (depending on where you go) in Texas. I have been getting dental work done little by little here and there as I can since I have no insurance. I have had a root canal, 2 fillings, and 10 teeth extracted (4 wisdom teeth, the teeth next to each wisdom tooth and 2 in front). Since this has been slow going I am unable to keep up with the rate of decay going on and have had a tooth in front break off and several in back chip or break. I can no longer eat hard or crunchy foods. I have had to give up most fruit and fruit juices due to the acidity in them causing alot of pain in my teeth.  Chewing is becoming harder each day and sometimes it seems like my teeth just ache. I get turned done for financing at dental clinics and am running out of options and time. I know I need to get my teeth fixed and know I need to do it fast, but I don't know how to get help doing it. I have been trying to do it on my own and it's not working. I am at the point of I don't care if they pull them all and put in dentures. I am not trying to save my teeth, just my health. I will admit it is partially for vanity reasons too. Would you want someone to take out your IV or whatever if their mouth looks like something out of a bad country bumpkin sketch? My name is Evan, I am a 21 year old male. I live in south new jersey working full-time for minimum wage, and minimum benefits. I have absolutely no dental coverage of any kind.

My bottom two wisdom teeth began to erupt when I was 18 (figures it couldn't have happened when I was a minor under my parents dental plan.) Since then, They have impacted, and become infected. As such, since I am now 21, almost 22, I'm going on 4 years with a now, raging infection in my lower jaw. The gums surrounding my bottom maulers, have become red, with chronic swelling, bleeding, and pussing.

It doesn't stop there. The infection has also spread to my tonsils, and I now have an acute tonsilitus, and formation of tonsiloliths, leaving a fowl taste in my mouth, and worse breath. I brush and floss my teeth, 4-5 times a day, just to prevent embaressing bad breath alone, let alone any more spread of infection.

The pain has actually gotten so severe, that I have to take excedrine migraine 3 times a day. The pain spreads from my now swolen lymphnodes in my neck, up my throat, throughout my lower jaw, and into my inner-ears.

I have tried my hardest to find a cheap way to have my wisdom teeth extracted, and get on some kind of antibiotics, but it's just not happening!

I need help, as much help as I can get.

i'm trying to find a grant or something that could help me possibly pay for some dental expenses because i don't make much money and i can't afford to pay to get my teeth fixed and it really bothers me that i look the way i do and i'm also getting ready to start school which adds to the stress of looking my best.

I'm a 42 year old single female looking for help in getting dental work done. As a single mother of two, I have worked very hard to raise my children without the help of their father. Providing full support for my children, I have had to put my own health needs last. Having had no dental insurance for most of my life, I am now in serious need of assistance to regain my smile and my health. I have been told that it would be best for me to have all of my teeth extracted and dentures put in. While this is devastating news to me, it seems to be the only route to go at this point. Due to the severity of my dental condition, I have been told by three different dentists that oral surgery would be best since I have a lot of teeth that have broken off at the gumline. I am hoping to find someone in my area that would be willing to donate their services for free to help me. I can no longer chew most foods as I have lost all of my back teeth. I suffer from nearly continuous infections in my mouth and never feel good, or healthy anymore. This problem is not only ruining my health, but has taken away all of my self esteem. I love to laugh and smile and I normally work out in the public. For the past three years, I have stayed hidden away in my home, contracting work so that I do not have to be seen. Not only have I taken a serious pay cut, but I feel shut off from the rest of the world. I don't even like to have to go shopping for food, and when I do have to go, I try not to make eye contact with anyone. If anyone out there can help me, PLEASE let me know. Hi there. I am a 23 year old Seminary Student/ youth leader. As Im sure you imagine Ministry is not the most lucrative profession, though the rewards defiitely make me rich! I am basically broke and have no insurance. (I work 2 part time jobs)  I am in terrible pain right now and it only seems to be getting worse. I am having major dental issues. I have a tooth that is in intense pain and the dentists stated it most likely needs a root canal but I simply don't have any money to pay for even another trip to the dentist much less a root canal. There is pain throughout that side of my jaw and teth but seems localized on that tooth. I don't know what to do but I trust God will provide. I need a grant so that I can work at home and be with my kids, I have looked everywhere and found nothing I do know there is info out here but where, I have no job and I need to work. If I have to, when I make the money, I'll pay it back

When I was 18 I had tenncare and went to the dentist the dentist knew I needed dental work and he sent it in to tenncare. Tenncare said no to everything . I lost tenncare dental when I turned 21 . After having my son in 2006 my husband left for basic training for the army . Only one of my teeth looked like it was chiped so I saved what I could and went and seen a dentist . Just to have what needed to be done I was going to have to come up with over 7000 . I have never seen that much money in my life . I did this year save 260 to get 2 root Canals. I got there they started and then I was told I would have to come back to let them finsh and I would have to bring another 190 . I mean I have three kids , everything in my house was someone in my family I didn't buy it new . I don't have name brand clothes .  I feel like I am ugly , after having my kids I have went from 115 to 200 , really bad teeth that you can see the black in them because all the bad ones are in the front and 2 are bad in the back . I just want to feel like I am worth it , I don't want to feel like my husband is saying I am pretty just to make me feel good . I want to be able to look at people when I am talking to them . I don't want to feel less of a person or Just an ugly person the rest of my life.

This is a plea for some good souls eyes.

I have hit a streak of bad times. It is a long story short but I have been rich and poor and rich and poor again. This is where the problems for my teeth began again. You see when I had money I had extensive dental work done on my teeth. About $10.000 worth of porciline veneers and bridges. Then about six months later I was diognosed with Sarcoidosis and sjogrins desease's. They both have an effect on ones dental health. I have done eveything I can think of I have sold most everything I can just to keep going. I cannot work because of my illness. I am waiting to hear from SS disibility. Therfore I am on government assistance. However the insurance plan they assigned me to because I'm conssiderd cronic. Does not only pay for anything remotly close to cosmetic denistry. They say pull them and get false teeth. This just breaks my heart. And spirit. You see I have to have this medication called Remicade and it is given like a chemo drug at the hospital and I have to be infussed for two hours. That said.. This procedure cannot begin with an ongoing dental infection which is what I have. Antibiotics clears it up for a couple of weeks and then it's right back. I need to have a four tooth bridge reset on the top. And two crowns on the bottom to afix a partal to. I might actually have to replace the top four tooth bridge with a partal as well. That would be cheaper. I just cannot stomach the thought of having false teeth all over.

You see when I was doing well in life I gave back you know paid it forward  And I gave with all of my heart. So I decided to see if there is anybody out there that would be willing to pay it forward for me this time.

Hello I was born with only 6 adult teeth on the bottom.  The six front teeth on the bottom are all baby teeth.  I am thirty years old and I have recently lost the first one however another is now loose.  This has always made me very self concious because they very much look like baby teeth.  It makes it hard to chew and bite things off.  Several dentist have told me the only real good way to fix them is by getting tooth implants.  They all said that due to it being such a large gap that a bridge or a partial would eventialy damage and potentialy ruin the good teeth I have down there.  I don't want to ruin the good teeth I have, because even on the top I was not born with a full set of adult teeth.  The problem is the high cost of this. If any one out there could help me that would be so awesome.  Bless you.
