Please if anyone can help me please do.I probably will have my lights shut off either today or Monday morning.now don't get me wrong I have a job it's just that I don't get paid until the 8th,and even then I won't have enough to pay my central hudson bill.Please anyone that can help me please do I'm in desperate need of at least 600.00.I'm a single mother of two and need my electricity.I went to social services but was denied cause I was over the income limit,so I'm stuck.Anyone that wants to help me please be serious,cause I was almost scammed into cashing a check for 4,500 for some guy who wanted to help me,but it just didn't sound right why should I have to cash a check and take 1,000 for myself and then send the rest to charity/orphanage,why couldn't he send it to them himself,so I never cashed it I had it checked out and it was a fake,I then gave it over to the authorities,so anyone that says they want to help me only if they can send a check I won't accept it,please use my paypal or another legal way to help me.I'm a very honest,caring,and appreciative person.I would never take anyone for granted.I believe people would be more willing to help one another if a simple thing called consideration was put into play,so to anyone who decides to help me let me start now by say thank you

   Im in a bit of a bind im building a small home on limited funds in a rural area and made the mistake of not checking in to how much it would be to bring power to my home, when i went to the local electrical co op i was told the cost would be $20,000. i honestly dont know what im going to do i had figured maybe a few thousand and now im looking at having a home with no electricity. The cheaper option would be for me to go solar but even that is quite expensive. Im not looking  for a hand out i will gladly work evenings or weekends in trade for solar equipment like panels inverters and batterys. Can any one help out with this? I cant stress enough that i will work in trade for equipment

My name is Rhonda P. from Houston, Texas. I am a single mother of 2 small children and guardian of my niece and nephew. I am here requesting help with my gas and water bill. I work full time and attend Univeristy of Phoniex full time as well. I am trying my best to help support my family but there is no outside help. My water has been shut off for approx 1 month and I have a disconnection notice for my lights. My gas bill has not went into disconnection yet but in about 3 weeks it will. Any help with anyone of these bills will be greatly appreciated. I can produce evidence of the bills if necessary. My water bill is about 450.00 because of an unusual increase in the bill .The water company adjusted the bill from approx 1200.00 to the 450.00 approx. My lights is about 145.00 and by gas is about 123.00. My money is spent on the food, clothing, and the transportation of my family. I have no husband and the father of my children is in prison. Where to begin?  Reading the stories of others makes me see that things aren't as bad as they could be...but things are bad.  I am an Army veteran of Iraq, I received a purple heart for wounds sustained in a roadside bomb in 2006.  My injuries are in no way debilitating.  I, in fact, have a full-time job.  I finished graduate school in December and now I teach fourth grade.  The problem is that I have a family of 5 (with one coming soon) to support and right now I am only pulling in about 2k/month.  I don't really know what to do.  I cannot pay my utility bills and they are threatening to cut off my electricity on Monday.  Part of me wants to get a second, part-time job (but realistically that will not be easy as I work long hours already).  I can't just quit my job and hope for a better one, but I also can't seem to find a better one.  I don't get it, I have two degrees and I hardly make anything.  I don't want to give up teaching but I may have to in order to survive.  I am not asking for handouts, any assistance is appreciated, links to aid organizations, etc.  Thanks!

  My name is Jason. I have 5 children and wife whom I support with my FT job. We make enough to go week to week but sometimes when things come up it is hard to get back on my budget. This is one of those times, so I am asking if anyone could lend me a hand. All I am asking is if you can spare $1,$5,$10 whatever you can help me with would be more helpful then you could imagine. Last month I had to pay my utilty company extra to avoid a shut off because I was behind with them. So now I am trying to come up with money to pay the other bills that I had to skip so we would have electricity. I am a 27 year old disabled student (freshman in college) on SSDI, with the goal of financial and personal independence.  While I have made tremendous progress towards my goal, I have found myself in a rut with my electricity and phone bills (home/cell/internet); I take classes online, so having the internet is a necessity towards obtaining my degree, and as circumstance would have it  I have not beel able to pay these bills off in their entirity for several months, so I have accumulated $400.00 (give or take) for my electricity and phone (combined bill), between the monthly services and late fees/charges;  I have received disconnection warnings and notices, yet the places I have turned to for help have stipulations (for electricity they will only pay for services in the summer months for electricity, and the other program has a 3 month processing period after the application has been approved. I have been unable to find assistance for my telephone service).  My family is unable to help me.  Where does one turn for help, when help seems out of reach? I came across this site earlier today, and decided to take a chance and post.  If anyone can offer assistance in any way I would be forever grateful (either financial assistance, or pointing me towards other available resources, information.)  It is, in part, humiliating, coming here and asking strangers for help, but it seems as though I am out of alternatives.
