I like to do volunteer work and help with children that lack basic needs.  I love children, but have none of my own.  I have helped out several single parent familes around the holidays for the past few years.  I've found that some families need ongoing help all year and not just at the holiday season.  I have been a public school employee for 22 years, and serve on a local church board.  I prefer to help someone directly without going through an organization.  I've done volunteer work before for organizations and was surprised at how much of the donated funding was spent on administrative expenses, and how little went to the recipients.   I really like the concept of Aidpage.

Still in need of help!  Dealing with Financial troubles badly!  our home is in forclosure and were about to lose everything!  Can't believe that I have been looking for help since Last year to keep from getting this way, and nothing but scammer after scammer gets in touch with me!  there doesn't seem to be anyone out there anymore that has a soul that would or even could help anyone that is having trouble anymore.  been working on getting things caught up but still falling behind with everrything going up all the time.  just about can live or raise a family!  want has this world gotten too.  it's a shame!  I pray all the time that things get better and so far nothing is working right for me.  I have faith and my heart keeps telling me that things are going to get better, but I hope I'm not trying to raise a family in the streets by the time that this would come true.  God Bless all of US!

i need my child support

I just need to be able to get my child support that is owed to me.  I supposedly make too much money for the state or any reduced rate legal programs to help me, but I have 4 children to support and I don't have the ability to pay a big retainer fee.  I am at my wits end. My ex-husband owes me over $30,000 in back support and he runs around care free all the time while I have to suffer.  I don't know what to do.  I can't even afford to buy my kids coats and mittens this year.  Everything is just closing in so fast.  I feel hopeless.

Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to get a handout, just some kind of help so I know what to do...

in december i heard about aidpage.com. i was living with my brother at the time ( 19 and 18 years old), but because of winter both our hours at our jobs were cut in half. we were making it but barely. so i decided to nievely post my situation on aidpage. a few days later i was contacted by a pastor who never got back to me, and a man named Sean Yanti. he explained his backround and hard life growing up, and he said he had been through what i was going through now, but now God has blessed him and he would like to bless others. he sent me a check for $4000, but i was to take $500 for myself, and wire the rest through western union to another "very needy" person. seeing as he was not asking me to send my money  but his, i thought nothing was wrong, so i did. i cashed the check through my bank and sent the $3500 off. he then told me he was sending another check to help me, but he wanted me to take out a small amount and send the rest. i asked why he didnt send the money himself to her, but he said it was not on his level and he would if he could and he was very sorry. once again i thought ok its his money. before i got the 2nd check, my bank called me telling me it was a fake check and i would have to pay the bank the $4000 back. i told sean this still thinking he was a good man and it was a mistake; he said to cash the second check and use it for my bank. b4 i did though i called the bank the 2nd check was from, for $4000 also, and it was fake. i didnt hear from him again. i know your thinkng how niave and stupid i must be, but i am only 19 years old and didnt know. i thought if he asked me to send my money that was fraud, but it was his. because of this, i have been unable to pay any bills including rent, so i have been evicted out of my home and no place wll rent to me, my car was taken away because i could not make payments,my phone was turned off, and i have been fired from my job because i have been unable to get there. i am pregnant and have no resources, i am unable to get a loan because this really screwed up my credit. this man really messed me up. anyway his name is Sean Yanti, and he has broken english.

so now i have no home, no car, no job, nothing. i am in major debt and i just keep falling. i am asking for some help -  i am 5 months pregnant and now no one will hire me  becuase of training and then i will have to leave after the baby is born. i can slowly repay what is given, but i just need to get back on my feet, find a place to live for me and the baby and a car.

SUBJECT:   HELP PLEASE !

To Whom It May Concern:

If I may take a few minutes of your time I would like to share with you where my family currently stands with our finances, including our mortgage, and how we got to this point. On May of 2006 I left my previous 12 year job with County Fire Department for the following three reasons: (1) my position with County was being eliminated as of July 1st 2006. (2) Because I was losing my job with County I tried to be positive, aggressive, and proactive in finding a new job before I was let go. I Began testing in Colorado in October of 2005 and was doing very well. I continued testing for the next nine months truly believing I would be successful in getting a job in Colorado in particular with the Denver City Fire Department.  I was very successful with my testing efforts and the job was pending on passing a final background. The Start/hire date was estimated to be around mid July giving us enough time to pack move and get established in our rental home before I started my new job. (3) My wife was pregnant with our second child and was put on mandatory bed rest by her doctor until further notice due to complications. This happened in the first of May and I resigned 5 days later with County Fire to be with my wife and my two year old daughter.

It’s about mid May of 2006; I am home packing the house to move, taking care of my wife and my daughter. I continued making trips to Colorado for final testing and to look for our new home and a rental. We as a family make a trip around the end of May and put money down on a new Pulte house in Broomfield Colorado and we find a rental to live in until our house is built. My parents came along with us because they are also selling their house and moving with us. Our current home in Helendale has not sold yet and the market has dropped significantly from what it was one year ago. We decided that if it doesn’t sale before we move that we could afford to rent it out and we would be able to make up the difference with the money I would be making on my new job.

By June we are ready to move and are looking forward to this exciting new start with our lives in Colorado. Around mid June I receive a letter from Denver City stating that I did not pass the final Background and was disqualified for employment. I called to find out what happened and they said that they could not divulge any information but said that I could hire my own private investigator to find out what caused the problem. I hire an investigator and find out that we have been victims of identity theft for many years and that would automatically disqualify me from any government/public service job. I was confused and angry without any idea what had happened or how to fix this problem.

It is now July of 2006 I am now without a job unable to move and trying to figure out what to do for a job to support my family and how do I accomplish fixing this identity theft problem. I spend the next 8 months trying to fixing the identity theft problem spending over 5, 000.00 dollars of our money (not to mention the 75,000 per year lost from losing employment) making hundreds of phone calls to agencies such as San Bernardino County Sheriff, FBI, FTC, IRS, Social Security, AIG, Creditors, Banks, and many others. I have filed two dozen reports to meet the needs of every agency requesting documentation, I have also spend 8 to 10 hours a day looking for work or working small jobs like washing cars, yard work, small construction jobs etc. I have turned in over thirty (30) applications but I am unable to find work because my fifteen years of experience, diploma, and formal training are all based on the Fire Service. The catch 22 problem is I can’t test for fire departments until the identity theft problem is solved or I would run into the same problem I had with Denver City. I continue to hear the same thing from every employer, why are you here and are you going to go back to the fire service? Once I explained the problem they seemed compassionate about my problem but were unable or unwilling to hire me. Over the months we get further and further behind financially. Finally by mid January of 2007 I find a new job. The job is with Barstow Community College and is only part time at this point but I am extremely happy to be working again. Even though I am working I continue looking for full time work in the fire service.

The past several years I have been in a head on car accident with a drunk driver, lost a child, lost my grandmother on Christmas day, lost a best friend to cancer, lost both cars that we owned, my identity, a career, my dreams, ambitions, hope, peace of mind and joy. I have also sacrificed many personnel items like golf clubs, Thomas Kinkaid art collection, football card collection, collector coins passed down by family, and many other valuable items that we had to garage sale or sold on EBay to make money just so we could survive. Our credit has been severely damaged and our faith challenged. In addition to all of that I have suffered from several illnesses requiring medications and a lot of doctor visits. We experienced corrupt real-estate when we tried to refinance our home to get money to help us and instead we lost 30,000 dollars and gained nothing, that problem is currently under investigation with the DRE. We also gave up our dream to move to Colorado, a new house, a great new job doing what I love, and having the ability to help my parents who are retired and on a fixed income and were also counting on moving. My wife and I are hanging on by a thread and are tired, stressed, frustrated, deeply depressed, angry, and confused. We really don’t want to lose the one thing we have left, our home.

I totally and completely understand that this is not your problem and that you are not responsible for helping us in any way, however, I hope that you can find it in your hearts to help my family anyway possible. This is our problem and I take my commitment that I made to you very serious and we continue to do all wee can to make things right again. We really don’t want to lose our house. I refuse to walk away without trying to do everything in my power first. I don’t want a short sale or foreclosure, this does nothing for you or me to solve the problem and in the end we all lose. I am confident that there is an answer to this problem and that it can be solved. Again, I understand you don’t owe us anything and you have every right to take our home, I just ask that if there is any way possible that you or anyone else may be aware of to help us help our selves get back on track, please let me know. Please help us if you can.

As stated in this letter I am now working part time and my wife starts working the first of April. We are confident that we can get back on our feet and are slowly getting there. Please understand that we have lost over 100,000 dollars this past year to year and half, but we are not going to give up we are resilient, confident, humble and hard working and we are committed to make this unfortunate situation right again. We will try to do ALL we can to make this work and pray you can help us. I thank you so much for your time and consideration in regards to this matter.

Note:
The following documentation can be provided to you for verification if you request it:

1. Police report
2. FTC report #
3. Investigation report
4. Denver City denial letter
5. Lawyer letter from working on credit issues

Thanks again for your consideration, time, and help

Sincerely,

Scott Giordano

I am in need of some financial assistance for my family. We have 3 children, we moved to Centreville from Dale City in order for our kids to go to better schools and live in a safer neighborhood. Even thought it was $225 more than we were paying before for rent. Within 2 weeks of moving in my husband's job cut out all overtime, knocking out about $1000 a month. I worked at night waitressing, but I lost my drivers licence because I didnt pay a speeding ticket, so I had to stop working there, the drive was too far to risk. I was getting childsupport for my oldest daughter, however her father was in a major car accident and is now unable to work. So I got another job during the day at $15000 less than usual since I have been out of the work force to raise the kids for the last 2 years. Now, I am paid less and I have to pay child care. We have used all of our family resources. Our electric and water were just cut off and our familys paid for them to be turned back on. Now we have a $650 gas bill we cant pay. My car is getting ready to be repoed. I can't just turn it in, we need reliable transportation. My husbands car only has 1 working seatbelt.

Christmas is pretty much shot.We really need some help until we get back on our feet.

If there is any way you can provide financial assistance or womans business attire (size 20) so I can get a real office job (I have also gained almost 100 pounds with all the stress). We have three daughters ages 4, 7, and 12. They were sizes: 5t-6t, 7-8, and 12-14. They do have school coats but not many pants.

Our car is thru Americredit and our Gas is thru Washington Gas if you need some proof as to our serious need.

I am a 31 year old married woman with an eleven year old daughter.
On May 18, 2007 at 3:30 pm our lives changed forever. My husband fell approx. 12 feet. He fractured his skull in 3 places, broke his sternum, broke 2 right ribs, he had pulmonary contusions, and he broke his back at T-10. Upon arriving at the hospital I was told there was little hope. They air evaced him 2 hours away to a trauma center.
He did survive, however things are very different. He is now a parapalegic. We went through so much, it was nearly a month before he knew who I was! He was released July 17, 2007.
We came home to no money and a pile of bills. As hard as it is just caring for him all alone, the worst part is the financial burden. We both worked and we did not recieve public assistance. I can't pay whats due much less catch up what wasn't paid while he was in the hospital. I'm so afraid. I have to catherize my husband every 4-6 hours to drain his bladder, do digital stimulation on his bowels, bathe, and dress him, do range of motion excersizes, etc. He is totally dependent on me. I do all this ALONE. I don't mind so much because I love him and he'd do the same for me.
We live in a trailer, not ran down but old, nearly 12 to be exact. I've always been one to spruce things up on a budget and I am quite the neat freak, I owe over $20,000 on it. It was to be our starter home. Our plan was to stay here and get it paid for in 6 years then get a house. We live in a mobile home community on a rented lot, I've been unable to pay the rent.
We bought a used vehicle in Feb. & I can't pay the note on it, it's in need of repair.
Little things I always took for granted like laundry detergent and bath soap are hard to come by. I feel so alone and embarrassed.
What am I to do?? We need help bad and fast!
I am sharing my story with you in hopes that someone will help us.
Thank you & God Bless!

Well I don't know where to start. We are a family of 4. My husband, me and our two children. We made the big mistake to move to Germany without thinking about the consequences and the Problems. My husband had a great job back in the States, I was working and we where able to pay the bills. That all changed after moving to Germany. My husband can't find a Fulltime job and only works parttime and I can't find a job at all. Our oldest one struggles in school since she was only used to the american school system and has been a A-Honor Roll student, now she is the worsed in her grade and is getting teased on. Our little one has ADHD and is getting tested on Autism has a culture shock and started messsing in her pants since we live in Germany, she is getting pushed around and has no friends since she can't talk yet, she is 4 years old. I am trying to open up a online store with handcrafted items to help us get a little closer to get the money together to move back to the states and back on our feet again. My husband is so frustrated and depressed since he can't provide for us like he used to and no hope in sight. Of couse with the little income we have that is not even enough to pay the bills we are not able to save some money to move back to the states. I am praying every day for a miracle to happen. My husband would be able work at his old job in the states but we don't have the money to afford the move, (the plane tickets, deposit for a rental house, a used car, furniture etc.) We can't offer our kids NOTHING here. Maybe there are people out there that are able to help us with advise or financial help. The only thing we can offer is a place in our heart, a thank you and a God Bless you and one day we are able to help another family in need once we are back on our feet. I know if the Lord leads us to it, he will lead us through it.

We are a family of 4 stuck in a foreign Country with no hope on finding financially the way home in the near future. We barely make ends meet and barely are able to pay our Bills. My wife is unemployed and all I was able to get was a PT Job. Read our Website for the Full Story. We have a Autistic and speech impaired child that suffered the most by moving to Germany. We had great jobs back in the states and now by moving to Germany our Family life and situation went down the hill.

First and foremost I am very embarrassed about posting this on site but i am very desperate and this is actually my last resort. To begin with I am 28 yrs old I just got married to a lovely man on August 3rd he's 25 so were actually just starting out. What's ironic is that our birthdays are on the same day, we married out of love and love alone. Getting to the point about things because i don't want to bore you with a love story, my husband lost his job in November he spend every single day looking for aother one to provide for us while i attend school, he did succeed in finding a job as a corrections officer but had to go through exstensive tests and background checks after successfully completing all of that we are waiting to receive a call back for his start date. In the mean time the bills have fallen behind and we have received an eviction notice,(meaning if we can't pay the rent in about 20 more days we'll have to find somewhere else to stay) The rend is $680 but we have no more money hopefully  this job will come open soon. I have been preying. On top of that my husband had given me a pet palmeranian on our birthday's, I named him Teddy. I did not know that Teddy was sick at the time until about 3 weeks later it seemed as if he had a cold I didn't think anything of it because i thought it would just go away but it has gotten worse. Now he's coughing up cold and going into convulsions, i have no funds to carry him to the vet or to the emergency hospital and they do not have payment plans, so i have no option what so ever to  get him any help but this website. And I'm scared for him because i'm afraid he may die! I can not have any kids and we have adopted teddy as part of the family. If we do not get help soon Hopefully someone will have a kind heart to donate, anything, even $1 will help us along the way. My husband does not know that I am doing this because he would not approve, he has too much pride (ladies we know how men are) but we are in need of your help, i think he will understand that we can get through this with a little help. If i can work for a donation i will be glad to I can type 75wpm so if you need help typing something up or want a resume done please let me know i will be happy to assist in anyway i can.

If you would like to donate or send a personal message please email me at scrisingstar.com and i will send you a link.

Thank you all very much.

,

Please help me give my babies a Christmas

I wouldn't normally do this, but I figure the worst that could happen is I get no response.  I am a full time working mother ( I do home child care) and my husband works as well, but he has been having terrible pain in his joints due to rheumitoid authritis, so he is down to about 3-4 days a wk instead of 5-6. We have fallen on hard times and haven't gotten a single gift yet or even a tree to put it under. I know I have seen people saying stuff about toys for tots, but we didn't think we would need something like that, and its too late to sign up. I have four children ...boys ages 9, 5 and 10 months, and my little girl is 3. If you know of any place that would help me to give them a Christmas or if you could help... I would so much appreciate it. We usually do fairly well, and I would be willing to pay anyone back in cash (even more than what you offer) at a later time. Like when I get my income tax.  If you have any suggestions, I would be very thankful.  I feel  so bad for asking anyone for anything. But this is about my children, not my pride Thank You all for your time and Have a wonderful Holiday.

Good afternoon, I`m a single Father living in New Jersey. I came across this sight because I need cash assistance. I applied for section 8 in Elizabeth, New Jersey back in 1999/2000. My son and I lived in Elizabeth untill October of 2007. I left my apartment in October of 2007 because the current landlord sent me a letter from a Lawyer saying that I have to vacant my apartment . No reason was given. I left, came into contact with a friend from some twenty years ago. She invited my son and I to her apartment until I get back on my feet. I moved my items in November of 2007, everything was sweet. Now, we all know that things don`t stay the same, my friend founded this house which was to much for me to handle, so I had to back out, she went on to move into the house, Stress started to form because I`m about to be homeless if I don`t get no help. I called the city of Elizabeth to see the status of my case, don`t you know that they sent the letter to the wrong address. The Lady says to me Mr. Harris, we were lookin for you since, September of 2007. To make a long story short, I qualify for a two bedroom apartment. My goal is to move in my apartment by June of 2008. I`m asking for cash assistance to help with the security and first months rent. I have email if anyone is willing to help support me. I`m trying to set example that we as Men can take care of our kids too. Thank you for allowing me to vent my worries to you.

We need an Angel

*UPDATE*   OUR FAMILY IS FINALLY ON OUR WAY OUT OF THE WHOLE WE HAVE BEEN IN FOR SO VERY LONG. PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE IN PRAYER FOR US, THAT GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS US AS HE HAS DONE THE LAST THREE MONTHS.

GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME!!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

our family is living on "A Wing and a Prayer" right now and our Prayer is that the items we list on our web sites and on Ebay will answer our Prayers. Our story is below...

We are Dan and Carmella Dunkin, we have 8 children (3 still at home) one of which is disabled, (Autism), and we are both partially disabled. We work many different venues to create an income to support our family, and have decided to try selling on Ebay once again and on our web sites to help make ends meet.

We sold antiques and collectibles on Ebay years ago until Dan injured his back and could no longer do all the driving to sales and auctions and the packing involved. We are now going to be selling items that we create ourselves. Gourd art, air brush art, Sterling Silver and 14K gold fill jewelry, awareness ribbons, sewn items, and anything else we think of to make.

Dan creates some really awesome Gourd Art and air brush paintings. You can look at his work here, http://www.thegourdreserve.com/galleries/sale/gourdart4sale.shtml. Dan also searches out quality computer equipment, monitors and TV’s and list those deals here, http://www.dailysalesonline.com. I design gold and silver jewelry, and awareness ribbons, and craft gourds, you can see some of my creations here, http://www.carmellamaeoriginals.thegourdreserve.com/.

Dan has been diagnosed with emphysema, osteoarthritist, and severe degenerative disk disease. I have been diagnosed with asthma, Osgood-Schlatter disease, and Chondromalacia in my knees. We also believe that I have fibromyalgia, but cannot afford the test and doctors to find out for sure. I have lived with severe pain throughout my body daily for the past 4 years, sometimes with the pain so bad it is crippling and I cannot function at all, other times I can just barely bear it. On top of that I have bi-polar disorder.  Our entire family is also recovering from a 5 year exposure to toxic mold which has amplified our health problems severely. You can read our mold story here, http://www.carmellasplace.thegourdreserve.com/mold.html  We are now living in a house with ventalation problems which the owner refuses to fix and we cannot run the air or the furnance without repairs to the system. Unfortunatly Indiana has no rules or laws about having any working air or heat in a rental, at least that is what our County building inspector and the health department is telling us. All these problems are costing us money we do not have and lots of heartache.

Dan tried to get disability through social security, but it seems their only concern was how much money they were going to have to pay out to our family because of how much money Dan had made all his life. Dan worked long hard houses doing back breaking warehouse work. He paid over a half a million dollars into the social security system over a 40 year period and when the time came that his back broke for good, the "security system" that he paid so much into not only denied him his benefits, they also changed his work history from a warehouse man to a plant manager and said he could do that work with no problem! I cannot believe that the social security system can do such things, but they sure did, and not only did they do it once, but his second denial was word for word the same as the first!!! We never have figured that one out.

With the problems we both have, living in the Midwest is NOT a good thing, so we are now working on raising money to buy an RV, (if someone wants to donate an RV we will not turn it down, but we would prefere to buy one hopefully on an owner financing type deal.), so we can travel the country and be able to live in cooler, (not freezing), dryer climates no matter what time of year it is. We cannot afford to have multiple houses in different states, but if we had an RV we could live in it and when it was time to head South, North, East, or West, we could just pull out of our RV spot in whatever camp ground we were in, and head for the next state we need to be in. It's been our dream for many years to travel the country in an RV full time, now it is a necessity that we do this, and the sooner the better, because the Midwest is killing Dan fast. Most nights he can just breath without too much trouble, other nights he scares me by telling me that it is so hard to breath that he don't think he will last through the night. I know he must be having a horrible time, as I know how hard it is on my asthma, which is nothing compared to emphysema. It's not so bad when everything is cool and dry, but when the humidity is up, like it usually is in the Midwest the air is a killer for those with emphysema and asthma.

With all that said, I just want to say, that we are not asking for a hand out, we are only asking for a little help and you can help us very easily just by shopping through one of our sites. Even if we do not have anything that we made that you would like to have, we still have a lot of affiliate sites you can shop with. Also if you do buy one of our creations, you can know that not only are you buying a hand crafted item made by a disabled American, you are helping that American to help themselves and their family, and for that we THANK YOU GREATLY!!! If you feel that all you can do is make a small donation to help us out, then we will not turn it down, but please see if there is something on one of our sites that you would like first.

Thank you and God Bless!

My name is Dina Rae I am 25 years old and I was preganant when I got behind on my bills and I got my car repossessed because I couldnt work at the time, because of early contractions and was forced to stay home. Im a single mother.  After I had my baby I had a hard time trying to stand up and get out of bed and I later found out that I have severe Rheummatoid Arthritis. Im still behind on all my bills around 4,900.00.  Its been 2 years and I have lost my home and car.  My credit is totally ruined.  It is good I have family to stay with for the time being.  I have so much pain and havent been able to work.  I have no job and no hope what so ever. Ive been going to free counseling for depression.  I tried to get on SSI and have been denied, but I will try again after I get more X-Rays done.  If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.  Me and my daughter Evangelise Lorelei would be so happy.  I struggle just trying to get pampers for her every month.  Her father has been abscent since she was 4 months old.  I know you cant really expect for some kind of miracle to happen and I dont know how this is going to work out for me but oh well I will try anyways.  I also find that talking about things helps alot too.
