Needs an angel

Single mom In need of a christmas angel or miracle worker. I have been recovering from a bad fall and was on no-work status up until this last week, I am now part time as a babysitter while still on crutches. . I am  unable to pay the mortgage for december.  This has been a very scary time for me and my 2 children. They are scared, it is christmas, and if we end up homeless, we have no where to go. That scares me to the point I am not sleeping well. I applied for assistance and was denied housing assistance. They used the car as an asset.. It is old, hardly running and isn't keeping my family alive and they used it against me. I don't have any tears left. I am frightened for what is going to happen to us. My mortgage is $786.00 and I just don't have it.  I don't have any resources left eaither.  The local salvation army says they won't have funds until february for rental help and it is only enough to help about 15 families. On my previous post I needed help with utilities as well, but that has been taken care of through payment arrangements to the utility company.  I appreciate whatever help I can get, there seems to be many people in the same boat this year.  My prayers are with you all this holiday season.

To Whom it may concern,

I recently had a post explaining my hardships and would like to thank those who have reached out suggestions for me. I want to say that the Lord Jesus Christ is faithful in a time of need. I have had grace in places that I need help by those I owe giving me some time to come up with money I need.

So the purpose of this message is to say pray for a solution and be wise to recognize one when it comes. It's not always in a package that is expected. So I give all the honor and glory to the Lord who is supplying my needs.

With one of my projects, the greatest help would be if someone knows people that are Real Estate Investors. I"m currently working with a gentlemen who is requesting for me to find investors for him to network with.  Please respond and I will be more specific.

Blessings!

About to be evicted!

I just recently spent my entire savings and sold my car (the only thing I had of any value) to pay for an international move back to the U.S. to give a better life to my 10-year old daughter.

I am now working full-time, and struggling to pay all my monthly bills while attending university at the same time as a full-time student so I can eventually get a better job and provide better for my family.

I don't go out, eat out, or spend money on anything other than necessities, and I was just barely making it until last month when my daughter fell of the swings at school and hit her head. She threw up, and was taken to the hopsital immediatly for a concussion.

She's fine now (thankfully) but all this happened before I was covered by insurance at my employer, and the cost of that emergency room trip caused many checks to bounce, including my rent check.

Over the past month I've been charged (literally) over seven hundred dollars in bank fees for non-sufficient funds and returned items, money that I already didn't have. I took out a couple payday advance loans to try to offset everything and return my balances to normal so I could get back on budget again, but it didn't work and now I'm sinking further and futher down a spiral that I can't crawl out of.

I have nothing I own of any significant value that I can sell, and my landlord is calling demanding the rent from the bounced check plus the late fee... If I don't pay within the next few days I will be forced to leave our small home and I have no where else to go.

I can't live with my daughter on the street. This move was supposed to improve our lives, and now I'm full of regret and desperation.

Please, someone, anyone... I need help!

I'm willing to do whatever it takes to fix this situation, but I truly need assistance fast.

END THE STEREOTYPING OF PUBLIC AID RECIPIENTS

Hi,

I originally came to Aidpage looking for help for me and my two girls. Shortly after that my financial status changed slightly, but as I've said on my other page, things are still tight, but the noose has loosened slightly. Even if all I have is $5 in my wallet, at least I feel like a somebody. The 'empty wallet syndrome' as I like to call it hurled me into such a bad depression at times I wanted to end my own life at times.

What clawed me out of that? I am not sure myself, but it did make me more humble of a person and less of a judgemental person.

I cannot offer any money, loans, scholarships, etc, but I can if anything, offer my page as a place to vent your frustrations. You don't have to be on public aid to already be frustrated about being stereotyped about being this or that way. You know that you can only do what is best for you and your family, and it is those who judge you who will be the first ones with their hand out when they need help. I also feel that those who criticize social welfare are the same ones who are supporting corporate welfare.

I have a place on Squidoo.com   End The Stereotyping of Public Aid Recipients that talks about my own personal situation being on food stamps and my observations as how society has treated me...good and bad. I tell it like it is, and I don't sugar-coat my situation. I want my readers to get a real sense of our hardships. You don't have to be a member of Squidoo to post a message there on my Guestbook.

I hope that anyone who feels alone, scared, and ridiculed because of their situation will find some comfort there knowing that they are not alone.

On my homepage, I placed an offer to give someone girls clothing, and I have a person here on aidpage who is interested. Stay tuned for updates!

God Bless,
Marsha

Hello, I see that so many people need help and I feel for them.  I also have a problem.  I am a 57 yo female.  I am Bi-Polar and therefore am disabled and on SSI.  My husband of 21 years recently told me he wants a divorce.  He had met a girl online and they are talking "I Love You" and more twice a day.  He originally told me he would give me money to move to Texas and some alimony.  Today he says he doesn't know how he can do that because his company  may be closing.  I have checked with Legal Aid and they aren't available to talk to anyone till end of January.  I went to Section 8 housing but they are booked up one year  ahead now and don't supply housing for emergencies.  I desparately need some money and people (able willing bodies) to help me move and rent a truck.  He isn't taking anything he says so have a whole house and garage full of stuff and don't know how to get rid of some of it in winter time.  I would have to move to a 1 bedroom so would have no place for all this stuff.  I also need money for the deposit on the apartment and deposits on utilities.  My car has an oil leak and the windshield is crack all the way across the windshield and won't pass inspection.  I also need enough rent and utility money until I can find a part-time job.  I can only make $700.00 max per month and have to find only a very low paying job but will have to figure out how to survive on that.  Would also like to have $5,000.00 more to pay part of car loan and credit card down which he had said he would do but now says he can't.  A job I can do from home would be greatly appreciated too.  If anyone knows of a ligitament job that can be done from home please let me know.  I only have a month to do all this and come up with money.  I pray to God constantly for help.  I heard about this site and thought I'd give it a try.  I am always helping others but when I need help no one seems to be offering.  Thank you for reading my post and I would appreciate any help no matter how small.  Thank you. Sandy

Oh. I don't know if they do this sort of thing in your city, but around here the local college has a day where the kids drop off all of the stuff they don't want or need (usually the day right before school gets out for summer). You can find food, clothes, etc. It's free for the taking, otherwise they dump it! If they don't do that around your town, maybe I can check here for you and send whatever I can find. :)

Must just be our town. I used to pick through it myself! I'd like to start one of those myself... but I live in a gated area, so it probably wouldn't work out so well. Yeah, check it out. I'm a big fan of that site... it's been very helpful for me. You'd be surprised at what you can find.

Congratulations on your situation. It just goes to show that if you are a good person and have hope, good things will happen for you. Just let us know if you need help in the future, and good luck with everything. *hugs*
Comment: I'm sorry, I'm new to all...
Note: This aidpage was started as a comment on "Home page of Floyd221"

I'm sorry, I'm new to all this and don't really know exactly how to go about this. But being in severe financial trouble, I'll give it a try. I am a 55 year old, divorced father of two daughters. We had a family business that went under a couple years ago, and destroyed the marriage, and took a severe financial toll. I need $10,000 to pay off a number of bills that are still left. These bills are some credit cards, cashcall, and a couple other small lenders. If I could somehow get ONE loan to consolidate these, I would be much better off. Due to my credit being shot, and losing our home over the business, I have no real property for collateral. I''ve tried everything, including prosper.com, but no one will consolidate these. I could easily afford a single payment of around $400 a month, but the individual payments are around $750 and I am falling behind. If someone is in the position to help, I would be very grateful and pay on time every month. Please consider helping me if you can.\Thankyou

I'll be getting a box from work tomorrow, hopefully. I totally forgot to pick one up yesterday when I was at work (and I felt so bad when I got home, I don't know how I forgot)! Should be getting your stuff out within the next week or so. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you. Take care hun.

My name is Lori and I currently live in Indiana. My family and I are looking to relocate to North Carolina. My husband is a Licensed Private Investigator and Bail Bondsman as well as Bounty Hunter and. Work has been obselite here for my husband and the town we live in only has maybe 2,000 people and that's being generous with the number. So we are wanting to relocate asap to a state where there is more work available to my husband and the cost of living will be a little cheaper. Because of my husband not being able to work two days ago we had our electricity shut off and everythingin our apartment is electric. Hot water heater, stove, heat everything and we're not gonna have rent money for next month so needless to say we will be homeless if we can't get somewhere where my husband can work. Below is a picture of me and my family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all and have a blessed day!

Im a single mother of a 2 month old daughter and in need of help. i cant go back to work due to the fact that i cant afford daycare, and none of the ones in my area will take a baby under 6+ months to add to that problem. and im very behind on bills, and soon to be rent. my daughter doesnt have very much, and needs a crib, clothes and diapers.

is there anyone out there that can hopefully help me to make this situation a little bit better? i cant take out an unsecured loan due to having poor credit because my soon to be ex husband opened credit cards in my name and didnt pay them.
