Hello and welcome to my aid pages.

I'm not seeking aid for myself.

I take care of a wonderful person who is in need of a better quality of life.

For three years she has been at home with no reliable way to get out and about like other people do.

She does have an older power wheelchair. However, she can't go very far in it.

We have a system here called Para Transit which is a great company and I commend their efforts to help differently abled people get to and from appointments.

The thing is it doesn't work for my client. It's the wait time between travels that gives chance to serious complications to her health.

Her medical insurance only covers doctor visits through them. If she wanted to stop to look at flowers or sit on a park bench for a moment she couldn't. As I have to travel with her, a cooler full of supplies and other necessities are out of the question.

What we need is a wheelchair accessible van.

If you have one that you are willing to donate or know of anyone else that can give her one it would be a ten fold blessing. If you have any idea of whom to write or know how to write a grant for one, your help will be greatly appreciated. If you can donate money for one or know of any philanthropist who can and is willing please contact me as soon as possible.

I don't have a 501 c 3 or an umbrella and the places that I have written (which has been several) have told me that they don't donate to individuals or they have recommended places that don't. I have called and written to foundations and others that have cause in her diagnosis' to no avail.

If you have it to give please give to a very deserving lady who's greatest desire is to enjoy each and every moment.

I am 48 and a father of six. I have 7 dependants.  -I have not been working for almost 4 years. Life is becoming difficult. Employers are not very keen to employ persons who are over 40. There a plenty of young graduates out there searching for employments. These graduates are not particulars how much they get pay as long as there are works. I have tried and attended so many interviews but failed to secure any jobs. Household bills are accumulating. House loan has to be serviced and has not been serviced for 6 months. To sustain the family, I do all kind of works. I cut grass, collecting aluminium cans, wash plates etc. The money is not much but at lease  i could provide some foods for the family.

Hello ~ I'm in need of help whether it be pointed in the right direction or whatever. I'm looking for information on how to obtain a Personal Grant for the Government. I have searched the web for information, I keep hitting brick wall after brick wall. Every website wants money to tell you how "you can get free money from the Government." I have always heard, Never pay for something you can get for free, If you need to fork over money it's all a gimick. Besides, I do not have the funds to hand someone so they can direct me into the next brick wall. If I did, then I wouldn't need a grant.

If anyone needs information on my situation I will supply it. It would be a novel if I typed it all out.

Our organization is looking for help.  We are trying to build a restroom/concession facility for our girls softball program.  We have erected a playing field over the past 3 years by doing local fundraising and local business donations.  We are now trying to build a restroom/concession facility.  This facility will help our program in so many ways.  It will let the girls be able to host tournaments and league games on our own field.  The revenue generated from concessions will allow our program to grow and function without having to ask for dontations every year.  We currently have 32 girls on our travel teams (competitive softball) and we have 88 girls in our instructional league (non competitive).  We are having to play our games at the local park facility since they have restrooms.  Our community has been hit hard over the past 10 years with several factories closing and severe job loss.  We established our softball program to give the girls a chance to learn all aspects of the games of softball, keep out of trouble and for the more gifted athlete, possibly a chance to get a college scholarship.

I have no money. I cannot get money. I am kept prisoner in my circumstances. I have been abused all my life by partners. My family has had to move so many times and we have nothing. As a result of the abuse, sexual, physical, mental, I am the nation's poorest. The law was never on my side. I am imprisoned by cruelty beyond words.

I do not do drugs. I do not drink. I always tried to work and pull my weight through all of this horrible life I have been dealt. I dont know the reason for all of this. Perhaps it is my fate. It seems there is a curse on me and my family. We are outcasts. We are poor. We have no home, no roots.

I am not writing a storybook here, a grim fairy tale. These words are fact. If you took my hand for a day, I would show you the life I have. I do know that I dont deserve any of this, for I am a star. Shining bright for all to see...if you would only look toward the sky, you would see me. The poor, the lonely, the outcast. The soul within you and within all of us.

Please help me if you can. I would be grateful to have some money to better my family and myself. I would give anything I had to help my family.

I found out about Aidpage tonight. In working on enhancing my clients quality of life, I think it's appropriate to inquire about an accessible vehicle. More so, a donation of an accessible van.
 
Can anyone tell me which organizations/individual could possibly be willing to donate a wheelchair accessible van for my client.
 
I do not know how to write a grant nor am I a "501 c 3"and I don't have use of an umbrella. I'm a 24 hour a day live in caregiver.
 
My client is physically and mentally, permanently disabled. She rides a power chair and is in need of an accessible van to be transported to/from home and to/from appointments in record time.
 
She would also appreciate having the ability to go to zoos, gardens and possibly other such outings. She loves animals and flowers.
 
For the past three years she hasn't been able to go anywhere other than to her physicians and other specialists offices.
 
She doesn't care for television so keeping her amused can be quite the challenge.
 
Having personal transportation will enable me to carry her necessities to ensure un-compromised health while traveling. The vehicle will ensure her comfortable, safe and quick transport to and from each destination as it is critical that she be in early reach of her medical providers.

She deserves to experience life outside of home. It will be wonderful to hear the laughter in her voice and see radiant joy in her eyes as she visits her most favorite mammals. (Whales and Dolphins) She believes that she becomes the flowers that she observes. "full of life and beauty."

Privacy laws don't allow me to provide details of her disabilities to the public. If you are able to assist she is willing to sign a release form so you can confirm her disabilities.

My mom is 70 years old and lost her husband in 2005 and left before getting the house in a better livable condition before cancer took him from us.  Currently she has had to use all of the funds from dad's pension and retirement to get the work done through a local contractor and is down to the last $10k needed to pay him off.  We are looking for anyone who is able to and willing to donate any amount to help her out.  The children have helped as much as we can but we are tapped out and connot fund anymore.  If 10,000 people just donated $1.00 she could reach her goal and then it would just be a matter of helping her meet the mortgage and necessities that she needs to live out the remainder of her life.  She has a heart condition and hip trouble that prevent her from being employed, plus her age.  There is a blog already seeking the same where there is a pay pay donation button specifically for her funding and will be deleted once the goal is met.  We are scrambling as the contractor will not do anymore work until he is paid which is understandable.  She was in a pop up camper over the winter but that has since had a roof collapse and is in the house with unfinished rooms and a space heater and microwave to heat meals.  The blog site is Help My Mom where there are some pictures.  Thanks to all who can and God bless.

I am down to the final amount owed on over $25,000 from when I was young and stupid and let a boyfriend take advantage of me, and some serious medical surgeries I had... I worked hard to pay off all bills - not going to bankrupt, and just working very hard, sometimes three jobs! Thank you so much for the prayers, well on 10/08/07 Liza's Mom passed away. I was at hospice that night and once again Liza was there alone and about 2 hours after I left the hospital her Mom went on to be with the Lord. Liza has no money, No job, No drivers license the only thing left from her mothers little social security ck was 213.00  Her mothers body was donated to science. when she arrived back at the apartment and her apartment manager found out, it was not even 24 hours later and the manager told her she was sorry about her MOM but she did know that she had to vacate the apartment by the first. she is really worried about where her life will go from here and where she will go. I will try to help her as much as I can because as you know from the first story God brought this to me. well if anyone has any ideas or knows of any resources please let me know. She is a wonderful lady and her love for her Mom was so unconditional, she is very smart. resources here in Texas are not plentiful and like I said before we do not have mass transportation in this town. Any help would be greatly appreciated and please pray for her for I believe that prayer is powerful.
