I am looking at a home to buy. The house is in some disrepair so at this point a bank will not loan on it. The land has potential so does the house. It is in a nieghborhood that I really like.It has an acre of land and the house has 4 bedrooms. It would be great for my family. The only problem is I need money. I want a grant not some get rich quick scheme. $100,000.00 would get me the house and pay for the repairs. It used to be a beautiful place and it could be again with some money and hard work. I am 43 years old, a woman and I work as a housekeeper. My domestic partner is 45 years old, a man and works at a hospital. Between us we have 6 children, ages 23 to 14. Living with us we have a 14 year old boy, a 17 year old girl and a 19 year old girl. Please if someone could see my vision of a home for my family and give me the money to make it happen. Thank you!!!!!

Has anyone here every tried a gifting program? I have been doing research on them. To me it seems like it could work, but you would need a few poeple who would also want to do it.
Like everyone on here my family, as well, needs help right now. So I am looking into all avenues. They are not many programs out there that will help a working family that can't make ends meet. For me, it seems like the government programs here (where I live) only help those who don't want to help themselves.
