My name is Ann and I was haveing problems with my mortage company. I was pay every month and my son died fo sudden cardiac death on October 21, 2004.  We had so many bills and my husband had been on the Job for 9 months. We lost 1 car and the medical Bills and Funeral were over $20,000. It was hard for my husband to work and he is trying so hard on his commissions. We got behind 1 month on our Mortgage and

got letters of forclosure. I sent the payment in and they sent it back and told me I had to send 2 payments.

I sent 2 payments and they returned them.I tried to call the help problem dept and they called me back

after a month. They would not accept my payments so I hired a Forclosure Company and took my payment

money for their fee and have saved 3 payments so far. I don't know what to do we don't want to lose our

house. This is scaring me and we are all seeing counselors for our grief. We need help. We keep getting deeper and the people keep telling us they are working on the mortgage. We are using a hardship. We are really miss our son and we can't lose our home.

I am a single mother of two beautiful girls.  I have always worked and maintained my household.  I have been sick and out of work.  My finances are a mess.  I have tried to apply for several programs  however I don't qualify for anything.  I really need help with rent for the month of November. I am behind on my utilities and I am having extensive car trouble to the point that I need a new car.  I really need a loan of around $2500.00 to help me get through this hardship.  Is there an agency or a person out there that is willing to help someone who is willing to pay back!!  I really need help.  My family is unable to help me and DSS turned me down because I don't meet the income requirements for assistance. 

To Whom it may concern,

I recently had a post explaining my hardships and would like to thank those who have reached out suggestions for me. I want to say that the Lord Jesus Christ is faithful in a time of need. I have had grace in places that I need help by those I owe giving me some time to come up with money I need.

So the purpose of this message is to say pray for a solution and be wise to recognize one when it comes. It's not always in a package that is expected. So I give all the honor and glory to the Lord who is supplying my needs.

With one of my projects, the greatest help would be if someone knows people that are Real Estate Investors. I"m currently working with a gentlemen who is requesting for me to find investors for him to network with.  Please respond and I will be more specific.

  Right now I really need help with making ends meet. I'm struggling financially to get back on my feet after being out of work for awhile due to medical reasons. I also gained quite a bit of weight and I cannot afford to buy clothes that fit me now. I am not above the thrift stores, but when you are the size I am now, it's hard to find anything. I am needing to get some basic items of clothing that I can mix and match. I am wearing a size 28 or 3X in most cases, sometimes more like a 30 or 4X is appropriate. I finally went to a store called ROSS and thought my prayers were answered, but all the items I tried on there in my size, just didn't fit. In my local area, I have found a store called Catherines, which is very nice and high quality, but quite expensive for my current situation. I find that the catalog shopping through Lane Bryant, Sears, Just My Size and a few others, are more affordable, but it requires a waiting period too.

I am able now to get back to work, in a call center type situation, but I do not have the clothing required for their business casual dress code. This is so hard for me because I gained alot of weight over a very short period of time and suffered a great deal of mental cognition, memory, and speech problems...not to mention being extremely tired, before being properly diagnosed. I am still not completely well, but feel so much better than I have in ages! I just feel so "stuck" because I am ready to get my life back and bring some form of normalcy back to my children's lives, but I am having such a hard time making things happen. Nothing is falling into place because I am sooo broke and I don't receive the children's child support money like we should all the time, so it is really hard. I've had to go to a clothes closet through the church to get my children their clothes, but it's so hard to find anything in my size, anywhere! It's becoming humiliating and embarrassing for me. It's so discouraging I just cry sometimes.

If there is anything you can do to help, either through funds or maybe you have some clothing to spare in the size I need? I would be so thankful and when I get back to work and on my feet again, which I hope will be soon, I can pay it forward to someone else. Please help me if you can.

I am writing on behalf of my brother Andrew and his family. For the past few years, his family has encountered nothing but hardships. It seems like the harder they work the more in debt they become. Just recently Andrew was diagnosed with bone marrow disease, and unfortunately, his insurance cut him completely off from aid. Also, the state of New York considers him diasabled, which makes it very difficult for Andrew to apply for aide, as well as jobs. In fact, Andrew racked up  very pricy hospital bills because he had to go to the emergency countless times dues to pain, black outs, and severe fevers. Not to mention the cost of prescription drugs. No one should have to live life this way, especially not since aid is readily available in the U.S. Furthermore, Andrew had no choice but to file for bankruptcy due to his inability to work or perform tasks for money. Months after the completion of the bankruptcy, his wife Amanda was diagnosed with cancer( Leukemia), and his son, only four years old, has been very ill. I do not know what to do. I have tried almost everything that I could to try and raise money for my brother and his family. I even went to the extent and wrote Oprah a letter in hopes that she would feel my pain and answer me.  Of course, nothing seemed to work. I do not want my brother and his family to continue life collecting unpaid hospital bills. This should not be happening in America. I served in the armed forces for three years, protected my country and the people. All I pray and ask for, is that the government returns the favor and helps bring hope back into my brother and his families lives. Please, tell me what I should do or what I can do.

  My name is Phillip Ives, I am presently in finicial distress. I am awating social security processing. Im an didabled veteran 100% non service connected . The VA has cut my pennision in half due to geting maried and are counting my step childrens SSI check from thier disabled natural father and have said that I owe them a debt of over 2000 dolars. they have begun reducing this payment from my already reduced amount on my pension. At this time I cannot even afford to heat my house or keep up my bills so at this time I pay what I can in order to not have my utlities cut off. Hello, to all those who understand the true meaning of hardship.  I am a single woman with two children who really got a story to share.  I just recently moved from California to Indiana because of the passing of my grandmother Evelyn, who recently died from cancer.  I decided to stay here in the hopes of establishing a close relationship with other members of my family.  However, not as successful as prayed for, I continued my place of residence in Indiana anyways.  Since, I've been here, finding a job has been quite difficult.  I am a college graduate and have been looking for work for the past three years to my great disappointment.  Because of these trials my child who is 9 years old have been diagnosed with a bi-polar disorder.  My eldest child currently lives in California is in the pursuit to continue her education to enhance her quality of life.  I'm currently on welfare which is only food stamps and no income to provide for my immediate family.  I am not married, and the church is my only solution in finding the right mate.  Just recently, my paternal father was diagnosed with colon cancer.  I have been taking care of him in this difficult time.  His inability to get insurance have made it all but even more difficult for my family to cope.  His medical bills are sky rocketing, and my household bills are seriously diliquent.  Right now I have a NIPSCO bill (Utility Bill) in the amount of $1,006.00 and I don't know how to pay it.  I've tried different agencies for the support but to no avail.  If anyone right now have the heart to assist my family in our difficult time it would be forever remembered.  You may either donate to my pay pal account which is aneatra123@yahoo.com. or send me a prayer. All monies would be used for medical, household, and college expenses.  I do understand that most people in this economically difficult economy had asked for a hand out.  But, I don't know what else to do but plead to the public for assistance in getting my family back on track.  When one have exhausted all of their resources to try to make ends meet, what should a person do?  I do however, believe in the power of prayer.  And right now, I pray that someone out there can either be uplifted by this post because of difficult times their experiencing or pray that someone out there may understand my situation and feel lead to help my family in this crisis.

I am in need to help my children have a christmas this year due to hardships over the past year.

A divorce.  Xspouse lost job.  My children have been through so much already.  They have big hearts and have donated to children less fortunate in  past years and contribute to food drives all year long with no encouragement from parents........it's just in their nature to be alturistic.  I am so worried I won't be able to give them a christmas this year not to mention my youngest will be 9 on Dec. 11th and I have no idea were to turn or what to tell them.  Is there anyone that can quide me in the right direction.

  I'm writing for my friend Bon. She is a christian who is struggling to make ends meet. She has a apartment that has electric heat and its killing her to keep up with the payments. She has a dog and 2 cats and she supports her neice because her sister has lost custody of her and she gets no help from her sister to pay for her child. She is a great friend and I have helped her out when I can but I'm having my own finacial hardships. Her electric is going to be shut off the second week of april. She called liheap but they are no longer accepting any more people for this period to help out. She doesen't know what to do. If anyone knows of anywhere that she can get help that would be a great help.

I have a mental illness and I am receiving new start allowance

My father says he has no money. I don't know how to true that is as he lives elsewhere.

My mother cannot get pension because of the assets my father owns. Because she can not get a pension legal aid will not assist and other services will not help because she doesn't have a health care card.

I am trying to support my mother with the little money I receive from the goverment, making it extremely difficult as it barely is enough to even support myself.

I have not much of a social life, 'cause I cannot even afford to go out for a cofee.

The added stress of my financial assistance isn't helping me, especially as I suffer from Schizoaffective, depression and experience severe muscle spasms down the right side of my body.

I want to get my life together but it is difficult when I have not emotional support from my relatives on my father side. They seem to always critizice me, because of mental disability.

They do not understand what I go through and are always interfering with my family life.

They seen alway to find fault in whatever I do and side with my father all the time.

I love my father, but sometimes he puts everything else first before my family

Do to other bills,I have fallen behind. I owe my gas company $913. Yesterday,

 May 29th,they shut off my gas.
