I am so behind on my bills and am broke. How can I find help for my kids for Christmas?

I need help with my bills, and fixing my home

 
My name is Michele
I am a 44 year old single mother working full-time. I left my job of 14 years 8 months ago. In 2001 I went back to school and earned my Associate's degree in Computerized Information Processing. I now have a job as a wolesale lockbox processor. I was a sales associate in layaway for Walmart until they closed it down. I like my job. I work Friday-- Monday and off three days a week. Two of my children have left home. One of them is married with a son and recently bought a home in Florida. She has a Bachelor's degree in Communications. She has her Barbers liscence and works as a cosmotologist. My middle child lives out of the house and has 2 children of her own and is a cosmotologist. My younges is fifteen and lives with me.

When I decided to purchase my home, my main concern was keeping my children out of public housing. I had no clue it would be this hard to maintain it. I am now considering selling my home and finding somewhere to rent because I can not afford to maintain my home. My house is not a home to me, it's just a house because I can't afford to maintain it. I still have problems with my home inside and out. What help is out there for the people in the grey area like me?

I am looking for help either in a grant or something to get my mobile home repaired...My roof is leaking badly and is damaging the inside ceiling of my home...I need a new roof and the local contractors are estimating between $3000-4000 to fix my roof and that does not include repairing the inside ceiling...I'm 74 year old widow living on my husbands social security of $800 per month and have nothing left after I pay my bills. I am sending this on my son's computer, he is also disabled but does work part time and helps me when he can, but I am in need of immediate help as the rainy season is soon to start.

I have checked into the Weatherization Program, USDA Rural Development, Community Grants, Community Action Agency, searched the internet for grant money, and called several offices in Montgomery only to come up empty handed. All of these programs are for low-income, disabled senior citizens. There seems to be no help available for people like me who don't depend on the government totally to survive.
My question is: Are there any grants to help single working parents who can afford a house payment but can not afford the repair and maintenance on the home?

are there any programs that can help me to pay off an 18 year old student loan and any programs to help start a minority owned business with 5 employees, with need for equipment, home bases with need for structure repair?

I am a college student trying to start a small handyman company.  I was wondering if there is anyway to get a government grant to assist in the start up costs for insurance and equipment.  If anyone knows about this please let me know.

I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

     I have been having problems for the past 3 years. First I was on medication for i year that made me ill and a major side effect of depression. I became chronically depressed but basically fuctioal. Then a family crisis caused an acute depressive episode and post traumatic stress. Well a supervisor made it campain to terminate me and he finally succeeded. I am now a single mother of 2, unemployed and uninsured. I also have many problems with my home. My septic system needs replacing, I have electrical problems and have not had hot water in my house for 2-3 month There are many other problems. Ineed a new roof ect ect. If you can help me I would truley appreciate it. I am not good about asking for help but I am feeling pretty desperate at this point. Please don' be a scam and if you are please stop here because this is hard enough without being scammed.
