 i am the sole provider for 4. i am a single mother supporting my son, sister (who is in school) and my nephew.

I do not receive child support or any other assistance, I am turned down because i make to much (less than 1300.00 a month) I live in oklahoma and am considered to be in the poverty level.  I understand that i should not have to take this on by myself, but my sister is in school and at least she is making an effort to further her education to be able to provide better for her son later.  I don't regret helping her, I am doing it because the state will not help her enough on her own, and now they will not help me.

  The original request for financial assistance still stands. The mechanic who has my wrecked car has quoted a nearly $8000 price for repairs. The accident occurred when the brakes that I had repaired--coincidentally-- failed! The problem with the insurance stems back to the time when I switched insurance providers. The new insurance company did not provide the same coverage I had which I did not find out about until the accident shortly thereafter. The insurance company even cut a check for repairs then put a “stop payment” on it. The mechanic will soon put a lien on the car he warned.
Now I must pay on a loan and pay the damages for a car I can not use. I can not afford a second car due to my credit which was ruined in a nasty, violent divorce/custody battle which began in August 2000. I have spent thousands fighting for my rights and custody of our five children. The ex-husband has with held our children despite court orders. The judge refused to enforce any orders that benefitted me. He created orders based on perjury, no due process, no witnesses or evidence etc. The orders were more detrimental to me & our children. I recused that judge. Recently I was granted partial custody of 2 of our 5 children after the father withheld custody for two years. That is court sanctioned kidnapping!

Shortly after receiving partial custody, I –coincidentally–had the accident.
I now have to share or borrow a car to get to my 3 part time jobs. I am not able to maintain the high work load as when I had my own car. My income has been drastically reduced. Further it is very expensive logging miles to get to & from a borrowed car.
If someone is able to help–there may be a way to get a tax deduction by donating to a non-profit who can then cover the cost of repairs. Or an angel could pay the mechanic directly to ensure honesty.

I have a dream! A dream that I can not pursue if I am stuck at home. Please help Save Our Families–one family at a time. When I get back on my feet, I intend to change & create laws that will prevent this judicial abuse of other families in their most vulnerable moment. We need to put a stop to this court sanctioned domestic violence-or terrorism–if you will. If you can help me get my car on the road again ----I will pursue justice for all.

I work as a medical assistant for a wonderful doctor, who teaches me so much about clinical medicine.  I know that this opportunity is going to help me become the best doctor I can be. 

Currently, I am in my last semester of undergraduate school.  My application for medical school is under review now. 

I volunteer my time for the Three Rivers Rowing Association: Adaptive Program.  In this program I help disabled people lead active lives by assisting them to get in the boats and on the water.  We row in the summer and we strength train in the winter.  It is a great program because it gives these people exercise, enjoyment and a sense of independence.

The picture is my Australian Shepherd, Dakota.. My sunshine, pride and joy!  If I weren't allergic to cats, I would have become a vet!

I currently am persuaing my second degree in Nursing through Castelton state college. I currently am commuting hundred miles a day. I also need to be able to contribute to rent expenses two hundred and fifty a month along with car payments191.79 per month and insurance217.50 per month and all my other bills. with the price of everything it is hard to get by. I also am looking at having to cut the hours that I'm working now due to the work load of my classes.That is basically my need is more financial help throughout the year. The price of gas alone and it's not just affecting this area of course, but that on top of everthing is alot. My gas expense I'm looking at right now is roughly four to four hundred and fifty dollars a month. The cost per month that I'm looking at is1,108 in bills. I would greatly appreciate any help that i can recieve.

I have two beautiful boys and times such as they are well not all Moms are good Moms. I have my boys full time and am really needing help with getting Medicaid for them.. It was innitially in her name with them and she has ran off with the social security cards and has basically moved on to ruin another man & childs life as she is pregnant again. She has basically told me that she has applied for her and the baby and the boys are my problem not hers. Unlike her I have been unable to just walk in and get help!! But this is about my boys not anything else they need insurance!! The baby has breathing issues that steam from her smoking while pregnant and he needs his treatments which are exspensive.. If anyone can tell me how to go about getting medicaid reinstated or start again in my name or CHIPS anything that can help??

I  have a rare medical condition disabling me from mobilty.  I have been off of work for two weeks without pay or assistance of any kind.  I have bills to pay.  I am a single woman, no one can help with bills. 

I had to refinance last year in June because I had gotten behind in my house taxes. the mortage company tht I used they tricked me and now no adjustment can be made. They gave me forebarance however it is unobtainable.  I just need someone to help me to get caught up.  I have a job, but I' so far behind that I can't pay my bill for high water, and gas utiulities. I'm a widower.  you don't have give me the money if you could just sent it to the mortage company.  I can't get finance because the mortage company that I'm now with has listed on my credit report foreclouse stareted. No one will refinance me. I have to pay $2,200 a month now with the forberance along with my other bills. I know of a money-making opportunity for people in the Philadelphia Metro Area..  I know it's for real because I do it!  You can make $11 per hour as a  call center representative.  You just need to have an Accident & Health Insurance License in PA, speak clearly and have basic computer skills.  Licensing is not a big deal, you have to take a course and a test. I believe that I paid around $300 all inclusive.  They provide training, additional state lisences and Contining Education at no cost. You work with Seniors, helping them out with their Medicare.  The job is in Blue Bell PA. They are VERY flexible about hours and are open from 8am-10pm.

Hello, I am trying to get into medical school.  Right now I work part time as a medical assistant and I go to college part time. I have taken student loans to pay for my schooling, but I barely make enough money to live.  The hardest part is that I cannot afford health insurance, which is not offered to me as a part time student/employee.  If I could just get a little help to make it through these hard times, I know I will be able to pay it forward when I become a physician.  When I graduate, I am committing myself to set up a scholarship fund to help students like me try to make it through school.  I also plan to volunteer my services as a physician to low income patients and those without health insurance, because health care is not a luxury, it is an individual right.

Desert Storm Vet needs help getting off disability. I have an insurance license as well as my wife. We have the desire to open our own office but not the required capital. All we need to borrow is $1000.00 to start our own office. We have insurance companies that we have contact with that want to work with us. We will pay anyone back. Well even sign a contract if need be.

I am a 27 year old mother of one. I work 40 plus hours per week and I have no insurance. I need an extensive amount of dental work done, (4) root canals -$995.00 per root canal, (4) crowns- $1,250.00 per crown , I recently recieved an estimate from a dentist during a free consultatioon and this can be done for $7,00.000.

I HAVE NO INSURANCE TO COVER ANY OF THIS WORK. Oral health is important and I am 27 and I want to keep my teeth healthy, if I do not recieve the root canals then they will have to pull the teeth. My name is Sheri, I'm 33 (34 tomorrow), mother of 3 beautiful boys. 

About 6 years ago I got sick with a major infection in my mouth... Since then all my teeth are rotting out and I'm in constant pain.  For the last 2 months I haven't been able to eat solid foods without being in so much pain its unbearable.  My husband does not have health or dental insurance since he started his own business and since my teeth are so bad, nobody will hire me for a job.  They assume I am a drug addict, and they treat me like an outcast.  It's to the point where my health is getting very bad because of the contant infection in my teeth.  The worst part of it is I've tried to do something about my situation, but it's hard when I cant get a job to get my teeth fixed...  My husbands business is new, so we are broke.  We hardly have enough money to pay for our bills, let alone a few thousand dollars for dental care.  I can't find a dentist who will do payments.  They all want the money before you walk out the door.  Which unfortunatly we are unable to do.

For the past 3 years I hardly leave the house.  It's so bad that I cry myself to sleep everynight, because of the pain and because of the humiliation.  I haven't smiled in years... and it's effecting my children.  They never really have seen me happy.

not sure if this is a place that can help me or not. i just ran across this site on google.

last year on july 23 2007 i was involved in a motorcycle accident "no fault of mine". the guy that hit me had no insurance and walked away with only $300 in fines. i suffered many injuries including a upper spinal injurie severed intestine broken femur and they had to amputate my left leg below the knee. i was working full time on the river transporting barges. im still employed with my company but cannot return to work. i was getting disability through work but it ran out after 26 weeks. now i have no income comming in myself. my wife works but makes very little compared to the bills comming in. my car was repossed last night. my electric and gas are about to be shut off. on a good note our landlords are VERY VERY good people and have been working with us. i have a lawyer working to get me some money from my insurance company but they are saying they are not going to pay. as for right now i don't know what to do. anyone that can help me find the sorces to get help?

 ps. we have two children living at home with us one 13 the other 18 still in school

I am a full time PC Tech that is in need of some help.  I want to tell you a little about my family.  I have a two year old daughter and a wife that is a full time college student.  She wants to be a teacher.  Our 4 year old boy was lost in a vehicle wreck 2 years ago.  He would be 7 this last August.  I work hard 5 days a week and my wife goes to college three days a week.  We have no health insurance and my daughter lost her medicaid because I work.  We have to pay a high babysitting bill each week because of our goals to provide for our family in the future.  I get paid once a month and everything I bring home goes toward my student loans, vehicle payments and gasoline, babysitting, utility bills, and food, and of course life insurance.  We are in need of some help to make it through the fall.  We have not needed to ask for help before, but the last month has been tough.  We have had to pay for vehicle repairs and dental bills for my daughter because of no warranty on vehicle and no dental insurance.  We are just asking for a little help to make some clothing purchases and maybe some help with a paying on the rest of our daughter's dental bill.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, or if you want to say something to me, please e-mail me at mwtownsongold1@yahoo.com 

In 2005, I was 20 years old working and attending college. I was having some discomfort in my leg, but chalked it up to just pushing myself too much. With the encouragement of my parents I finally went to see a doctor. I had a massive bone tumor on my foot. After some radiation to attempt to shrink the tumors size, I had surgery to remove the tumor from the bone. I was hopefully that it was benign, fate would see it a different way. I had to go through chemo and after many, many months was told I was cancer free. I had beat the beast. Unfortunatly, I did not have health insurance at the time, so with a little help from the state, and the hospital allowing me to make payments, I finally paid off everything this March.
I went for my regular follow up (I get tested every 6 months), only to find another tumor, make that tumors. I still don’t have health insurance. The hospital I was treated at previously doesn’t want to make payments like they did in the past… they want so much money upfront. Money I just don’t have.
Right now I’m angry and bitter. But I know if I beat this once I can beat it again. I just need a little help to get started with treatments. I no longer have my parents (bless them), and the bank won’t give me a loan without a cosigner… and it seems like every cosigner I tried to use… there was some reason they weren’t qualified. I’m not looking for a million dollars… just a few hundred that can help me get started and I’m sure the rest will fall into place. I’m feeling pretty helpless since most of my efforts have been fruitless right now.
I’ve tried state aid, and was denied. I went to different cancer foundation, and haven’t heard back. My church only said they would pray for me. If you could please help me… I don’t think you know how much it would mean to me.
