My name is Holly i'm 80% Colly and 20% German Shepard. I live with my family in Dorset, England. I was given to my mum as a pressent one christmas from my dad, that's why my mum called me Holly. I have one blue eye and one brown eye. And am mainly black and white in color.I love playing with my ball, going for walks, putting my head out of the car window, having my belly rubbed, hugs and kisses, my family and people, and i love trying to eat the hoover. I have a great personality. Unfortunately i have cushings diesease which is where i produce excessive amounts of cortisol. This can have harmful effects on other organs and on the ability of the body to regulate itself. I am on medication for this everyday and have to have blood tests every 3-6 months which is all very expensive and my family are struggling to afford it and need your help. Financially things are really bad for my family at the moment. If my family can not get any financial help with my medication then i may lose them. I love my family VERY much and do not want to leave them, so please  if you are able to help and would like to then please make a donation through PayPal. To do this please leave me a message and i will write back to you with my email address which you will need. Please help.Thank you.

I am a mother of a 2 year old son.  My husband and I try very hard to make a home for our family.  He lost his job the day after Christmas and has had trouble finding another one.  I have picked up some contract work, and am now working two contract jobs in addition to my full time job.  I was diagnosed 2 years go with multiple sclerosis, so the extra work is not an easy task.

Anyway, we got behind one month on our house payment and have been unable to catch up.  Our bank is demanding two months (the behind month plus this month) payment within 48 hours.  I don't have it and don't know what to do.

I need my life-saving medication

Hi, I am a 24 y/o EMT, and I don't make very much money. I recently graduated from a major university. Yes, it did leave me in debt. I have migraines, endometriosis, asthma, and epilepsy. Due to the endometriosis, asthma, and epilepsy, I am on medication for the rest of my life. The epilepsy medication is what keeps me alive. (Did you know that over 40,000 epileptics die every year due to their epilepsy?) The problem is, at the beginning of the year, when I renewed my Patient Prescription Assistance Program; they told me they could no longer help me. I was doing fine before this happened. I live on my own. I don’t really have any family. I’m paying over $500 a month in living expenses, around $400/month in school debt, and my medication costs $321.44/month. I have to pay cash to the doctors (I have multiple doctors) when I get sick and when I go in for my quarterly checkups (these cost minimum of $150.00) I can’t get health insurance because of pre-existing conditions. I can’t get government help because I don’t have children. (The state once told me its okay if I die, because I don’t have children.) I have been taking only half of my medication to cut back on costs. I am afraid of the consequences of doing this, but I don’t see any other ways to cut corners. I don’t even have food, instead friends invite me over for dinner, and most of the time they send the leftovers home with me. I am not asking for pity. I have became accustomed to this kind of lifestyle. I just don’t want to keep cutting my medication, because I know where that leads to. My remaining school debt is just over about $9,000.00, so I’m only asking for $8,000. I’m sure once I get the school debt paid off, I’ll be okay. I appreciate any help this community can offer me. I have confidence in this community, because I know someone is willing to help look out for me.

My cat is fatally sick- HELP!!

My cat has been through a lot. Coming to me after being a shelter cat, I can`t even pretend to know the hardships she had before I rescued her 8 years ago. She is now 12 years old, and has a deadly disease.

I must have gone through half a dozen vets, all of them telling me that they "arent quite sure if there`s anything wrong with her". They ran full diagnosis test, including blood, urine, fecese x-rays, you name it. Nothing! I must have spent over $3,000 on this, and noone is telling me exactly what is wrong. Until recently. Cryptoccus Neoformans- an extremely rare and DEADLY disease which is contracted from a fungus in PIGEON DROPPINGS... now that makes NO sense whatsoever since my cat is strictly an indoor cat and has NO contact with any other animals.

The cost of this medication is extreme. I got laid off and can barely make enough to feed us right now- especially with all the costs of just finding out the diagnosis. I don`t want my cat to suffer- she has constant diarreah, breaths SO heavily, coughs, and now there`s blood in her stool. I don`t want to put her to sleep. I love her, care about her, and need desperately for us to get through this illness so she can continue to be her normal affectionate spunky self. I just need enough to pay for her 2 month supply(over $700), and then after that i`m pretty sure i`ll have another job and be back on my feet enough to pay for any other costs.

Please Please Please help us! I`m mortified that I might lose my best friend just because I can`t pay for her medication. Anything would help greatly, and would be very appreciated. You can contact me at slana497@aol.com

Thank you.

"Our only hope ls our children and olderfolk," Good God in heaven knows, the "powers that be" sure won't change their ways and help the backbone of america. Things went bad when we started moving Grandpa & Grandma out of the home into oldfolks homes. The kids lost precious teachings that are vital to life. The olderfolk lost their reason to be. All in the name of Bigger, better, faster and longer! We have a vast number of children lost in fostercare, on the street, and in broken homes. And with the great number of functioning olderfolk lets take some of the failing family farms and put them together? This is my idea. The children have not only lost the joys and lessons that Mom and Dad have no time to teach. But what is more, They don't learn how to be Human. Look around, We are in deep we must begin with our children so that when they are "The powers that be" they wil treat their familys with a bit more Humanness. One farm is all we need to start.   A. Medical condition

I  have a rare medical condition disabling me from mobilty.  I have been off of work for two weeks without pay or assistance of any kind.  I have bills to pay.  I am a single woman, no one can help with bills.

Newly diagnosed bipolar husband, can't afford electric, H2O, meds

My husband became ill a few months back. Forgetting where he was, falling asleep everywhere, then he has violent and mean. We finally had him diagnosed w/ Bipolar brought on by medication. I am so scared, all my time has been preoccupied getting him well. In the meantime all the bills have piled up and I can't seem to get away from this feeling of dispair. I have a part time job that was just increased to full time, I am looking for a second job now. The meds they are trying on my husband have horrible side effects, they keep adjusting the dose but we haven't found the combo yet. As soon as we do he can go back to work. I have NO money to pick up his next prescription, buy food, rent anything. I need help, this illness is killing us both. Thank you for listening.

My husband died unexpectedly, he did not have life insurance or health insurance, he was never ill. Two months later, I lost my job. The next day, I filed for unemployment and registered with the TWC for help to find a job. I received unemployment until August. I applied for every job that I qualified for in the TWC listings, there were many, I only got a few interviews. I am not sure that the job postings were up to date, so many of them sent me responses that the jobs were closed. Some jobs were posted a day or two before they were to be closed. I have sent out so many cover letters with resumes and applications. I have checked with my references, no one has contacted them. I feel like I've been sending out paper airplanes into empty space.  Many of the applications have gone to State agencies which list job vacancies.

I am diabetic and am out of my medications, I was on the Aim Low program in my county, in August they sent a letter about changes, I called to be rescreened (first screened in May) and was told to call back later, this is what happens each time I call, I am clearly qualified. Initally, in May, I applied to several of the prescription assistance programs and was approved, they were sent to the Aim Low pharmacy. I found out by accident that they had arrived and had been there a month without my being contacted. I finally received them but have received none since and have not been able to see a nurse/dr for refill prescriptions. I don't know where to turn as my diabetes cannot be ignored. I am following what I've been taught in managing my diabetes, but that is not enough without the meds I was prescribed by my doctor while I was still working and had insurance. I have lost alot of weight (40#) and my blood pressure has dropped to a much lower rate than it has been in more than 20 years. I think those factors have helped me with the diabetes complications.

I receive a survivor's benefit from social security, but it is only enough to pay my rent with $34. left over, I am behind on my utilities and must seek help to get reconnected, often. My car engine light blinks constantly and it runs "rough" needs spark plugs changed and maintenance work, so my gas mileage is poor. On the weekends I set up with an art group to sell note cards that I paint, and some jewelry that make with left over supplies from better times while my husband was alive and we were both earning. I sell a little, usually enough to pay my booth fee and gas money and a little extra used for food during the week. My back, arms and hands are beginning to be stiff from the loading and unloading each week. My hands ache for days and swell. I don't have medication for that. Last week my allergy to smoke flared up and I have had nerve pain in my jaw, ear and head that is almost unbearable.

I have a daughter about 20 miles away who ignores me since I asked her to keep my dog, a Lab named Lizzi for 3 days so I could go to help my younger daughter who was having a myelogram to determine therapy for an injury she is still suffering from that was not initally treated properly. She has alot of pain from her injury and is in physical therapy, that is not covered by her insurance. She works, but the therapy is very costly and she does not have money to help me with. My older daughter works and has a partner, who also works, but requires alot of her attention and 3 adopted children.  They do not communicate with me since I asked them to keep Lizzi for those 3 days. They have 2 dogs and 4 cats and a big fenced yard. Several years ago, when they were living in a condo, they dumped Lizzi with us when they didn't have a yard. Lizzi is very well trained and is always on a leash with me. the vet told us she was traumatized and that she should not ever have to stay in a crate, for any length of time. She loves them and is always so happy to be with them and gets along with their dogs and cats. I am sad that my older daughter seems lost to me. I am so alone. I do have kind neighbors, but to have family that is so close, but distant, is sad. I try not to think about my older daughter, hoping that she will call are show up someday. My younger daughter cannot make trips to visit often as her injury makes a 3 hour drive each way, something very painful to do, and not miss work when she gets back.  I need help and suggestions of how to move ahead, I am not old enough to retire at 62. I have alot of energy to give, just not enough money to make ends meet. I guess I really need caring attention, most of all.

This note is long but PLEASE READ IT ALL to understand my situation.
Well i'm not even 20 yet but I'm already on the verge of having a nervous break down. As soon as I was old enough to get a job I got one and started helping my mom out because I would hear her talk about being in so much debt but never knew how much. After a year and a half of working I had to quit my job because I have really bad headaches that caused me to black out and drained all my energy so my managers and doctor thought it was better if I get checked and rest. After trying every medication out there I finally was introduce to IMITREX, which my moms insurance would only cover 9 pills for $200 and something dollars. My school would help out and get me extra pills when I ran out so I wouldn't miss school and fall behind. My grandfather ended up moving in with my mom, me and my other younger siblings to help out. But then two years ago my grandfather passed away due to cancer and my mothers mom passed away when she was three so my mother has no parents or siblings to turn to. And every since my grandfather passed away we've been really struggling badly even though I got a job again to help out it isn't enough cause I only make $6.50/hr. But two months ago we didn't have enough money for the rent and none of my mothers aunts or cousins gave her a dime to help us. Even though my mother has always helped them out she let some of them live with us when they didn't have nothing or she would put food in my aunts house for there kids when they were broke and even though a lot of them owe her ALOT of money she never asked for it back but now that my mother needed help they didn't help her. My meanest aunt that has a house with extra rooms asked my mother what is she going to do and my mom said I don't know, pray and my aunt said to her ''I guess you and your kids are gonna have to live on the streets'' I cant even describe how hurt I was, but I know my mom is hurting more cause I hear her cry every night . A lot of apartments turned my mom down due to her credit, but we ended up getting a place at the last minute with no ones help, even though its only a two bedroom and it's 6 of us were trying our best. I didn't go off to college this year because I knew my mom wouldn't have any help and wouldn't be able to pay for everything and take care of my siblings by herself and none of my siblings are old enough to work, but since I didn't go to college we found out that her insurance dropped me and I can't afford to pay for the IMITREX medication or go to the doctor to get shots for my alopecia, I only have 5 pills left and when those are gone I'm worried I won't be able to work or look after my siblings and we would really end up on the streets. My mother use to be in $50,000 of debt mainly for helping my family out and also for using her credit cards when we didn't have anything which I later found out. But she and I have been trying to lower her debt and so far she's only in $21,000 of debt. She's trying her hardest to keep us together and I'm trying my hardest to help her, but I feel like were alway's going to be struggling and I wanna cry so badly but I'm afraid if I do I'll break down, so I hold it all in and feel miserable. So PLEASE if anyone out their who has even a penny they don't need and would like to send it to us I'd appreciate it so much, thank you.
Can't Afford My many Living Expenses

I am a college student who used to recieve all the financial aid I need to get through a semester. I no longer do because my parents no longer claim my sister as a dependent. They still cannot afford these expenses any more than I can. I would get even less financial aid if I had a job (which I want but if I got one I would be in the same boat or possibly an even worse boat. I have no car to get to the job anyway.

I tried pawning some of my stuff... most of it they wouldn't take and I only got 15 dollars for my stereo, but I simply do not know what to do... it is also worth mentioning that I cashed in my savings bonds. I am so in over my head.

So I have all of these things I need (books, food, medication, doctor payments, supplies for classes ect) that I cannot afford now. I also owe my grandmother $777 and simply don't know how I will ever return her money. On top of this my laptop (for homework) crashed. I seem to be in a hole I cannot get out of.

It's weird, I need the money for other things but every time I get any money (example - the $15 from pawning my stereo) it goes strait toward the debt I owe my grandmother because I hate owing money to her.

I need a grant in the worst way! Please help me someone!

I have read some of the different problems people are having who are a member of this page and I relate to most of you and hope you all find a way to fix your problems.

Then again I also hope I do... I am so in over my head.

I am not sure the exact amount I need.

With the $777 I owe, I suppose $2000 would get me through the semester $2,500 would be a little better, what with food and medications (I take 3 different ones and it gets costly).

I am a few days into school and still haven't bought my books because each it adds up to a few hundred. One of the books is over $75! Thats just one class! Wow I didn't know what a blessing that grant money was untill I was faced with this.

Someone tell me what to do? Where can I go to get a grant to cover this? I need it quickly.

My Dog Rosie

We got my dog Rosie about 3 years ago and for the past year and 1/2 she has been constantly itching all over her body. She scratches her face on the rugs all day long she scraches at her face with her paws and all around her eyes are swollen runny and raw. We love her with everything that we have she is like a family member she even sleeps in our beds with us. We are looking for someone to help us raise money so that we can afford her medication again, all the money that we have goes to vet bills and her medication. Rosie is going to the vet just about once a month. And if we cant pay for her medication anymore then we are going to have to get her put to sleep so that way she dosn't suffer anymore and that is the last thing we want to do

If you have any information on how we could raise money for Rosie or anything like that please contact me at Duckiiieee07@yahoo.com

We would be so greatfull if anyone could help

thankyou,

 Megan

Hi - My name is Cindy. I am seeking out people who are middle-class and being denied assistance by our govenment. I am looking forward to advice on how to turn my situation around.

I am a single mom making $40k a year (which used to be considered good money). But, I receive no child support my son's father (literally nothing ever) and with the cost of daycare and everyday living expenses such as car pymt, gas, auto insurance & healthcare costs. I have had to move home with my parents!! At 34 yrs old!! And I still don't have a damned dollar in my pocket even now that I have moved back home! I have no healthcare plan for myself because I can't afford the additional premium. Therefore, coverage is only on my son...AND I STILL PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR MOST MEDICAL SUTUATIONS DUE TO THE PLAN HAVING A $1500 DEDUCT!! HA! I can't even cry about it anymore. Additionally, I pay taxes for no reason because I get paid "too much" to qualify for food stamps or any other form of gov't assistance (which I am embarrassed to say that I really need).

In 1998, I was put on disability because my doctor did not understand my rare birth defects and he refused to refer me to an immunologist who treats patients with my rare birth defects. Because I have had these problems since birth, I knew exactly what was needed to get me off disability and back to work. Most of the tings I needed required an order from a medical doctor to be covered by insurance. I was not able to find a doctor in California who would apply the treatment guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control, the National Institutes of Health or the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Why would so many doctors refuse to apply such widely known medical management practices when those approaches would get me back to work? They just did not believe me. Why were they so stubborn? Another person in California was born with the same name as me and that person was also on Social Security Disability. The other person did not have any congenital problems, but he does have a long history of drug abuse and was convicted of Medicare fraud a few years ago. He is also much older than me. Because these errors got into the medical records for me held by Medicare, I am not able to get the medical management and physical therapy that would definitely put me back to work and get me off disability. As things are right now, I can’t afford all my medications or all co-payments to medical doctors. If I could afford to pay for physical therapy out of pocket, afford my medications and afford all co-payments to doctors, I would be working at a self-sufficient level in less than a year.

Hello Everyone!

My name is Adrienne! I am 28 and I live in Queens NY. I would tell someone who wanted to know more about me that I am an unusual combination of personality traits - my life experiences have proven me strong and independent, but my inner nature is deeply sensitive, caring, and loyal. I love being surrounded by my close friends and my family, but I also have a desire to be alone for a time. I consider myself well educated ( two masters degrees), but I'm definately not well educated in areas of refined life experience. I have spent much of my academic and professional life working to rehabiltate criminals and help crime victims heal - so my work has been pretty intense but worthwhile - not to mention I can tell you fascinating stories until the sun comes up. I love learning and being exposed to new things/ideas and having new experiences.

I love life despite its ups and downs, I believe in the power of positive thinking, I am a deeply spiritual kinda of girl, I laugh ALOT, I am a great of communicator - sometimes I enjoying talking and but I more often love to listen. I love those who have passions of their own but still make room for others.

I'm the kind of person who believes in giving what she wants back 100%.

I hope your having a great day - please know I am sending out positive thoughts to everyone on this site. Let's all hang in there together and we will definately get through the hard times. Thanks for reading!!!

 Sincerely,

      Adrienne

I'm in pain physically and emotionally while I'm typing this so I'm hoping what I have to say comes out right. I'm going through a tremendous amount of issues right now and I really need some help but have the most trouble finding somewhere to turn. I have a rare pain syndrome that is not commonly heard of. It's called vulvodynia. It causes me excruciating  & debilitating pain. At one time I experienced it almost every second of every day for the last several years. There's no cure or even any sure way of knowing the exact cause....it makes you miserable and unsure of ur life from day to day. I also suffer from depression.

The vulvodynia pain, I guess u could say is comparable to nerve damage pain (which is in fact what it seems to be in my case). I don't know if I'll ever be free of this situation again but for the time being the only thing most recently that has been helping me to function enough and not suffer this every single day as before is the Cymbalta medicine I've been taking. I also believe in holistic methods but nothing else so far helped relieve the extreme pain and I have a young child to care for. I have tried many many medications & have been & felt like somewhat of a guinea pig. This situation started for me around the age of 19 and I am now in my 30's (Off and on during that period of time). I cannot work because of these disabling situations and I receive SS disability once a month.

I tried to fill my prescription for my medication and for reasons beyond my control (some error of some sort), my insurance that covers it was off and will take at least a month to be corrected. My medicine costs $163 that I don't have. Making matters worse, I am in a period in which the pain is at it's worse (which happens sometimes) and this is the worse time for me to be without my medicine. I can't find anyplace to get it free or get samples. I NEED HELP.

I am behind in my rent $227. I have bills I am behind in that is $191. My glasses are old and broken (I'm very nearsighted and the type of glasses I get cost me $350-$400), My child's birthday is here, I have no money to give him anything right now and that in and of it self is so hard (he's a great kid and I love him dearly)and I have little money for the basics of food (which has just been getting more and more expensive). My medicaid was cut a long time ago because they sent the recert to the wrong address, I've tried to apply since then and all I get is the run around. Food stamps is the same thing. I'm just TIRED and I neeed HELP PLEASE SOMEBODY. If u hear me and u can, please help. I am humble and appreciative. Thank You

Times are difficult for everyone right now...so I don't know why I'd come to this site to see if I could get any assistance with my financial problems...I read some of the stories/comments and I really don't feel like I have a problem anymore. I mean, I work 40 hours a week, so does my husband, but we can't make ends meet. Everyday it seems like something else happens to put us back further.  We haven't had food in our house in months, but we get by.  Our rent is behind by 1 month, but it could be worse(we could be sleeping on a bench, or behind a building).  I guess I'm thankful for the situation I'm in right now...after reading I don't have it as bad...I wish I could help some of these folks myself.

2 1/2 years ago I decided to get off ALL chemical substances (my doc was crack-cocaine, weed, and booze). I thought i was always broke back then, but now that I pay my bills it's even harder to stay above -- I call it the "wreckage of my past...." It haunts me day and night, but I'd rather be clean & sober and be broke than to be an addict and be broke.  I hold onto my faith to get me through each day, and I know eventually I will see the light, and I'll come out on top. So if your struggling -- hold on, your time will come...their are people around us who want to help, they're out there.  Just keep the faith.
