I am in desperate need of financial aid so I can attend school beginning this fall. I graduated high school a year early, this past June, and left with over a 4.0 cumulative gpa. I work with an after school program at an elementary school during the year, and teach summer school, and am director of a playground program during the summer, in addition to working as a nanny. I am very involved in church and volunteer activities.
Early High School Grad. Seeks Financial Assistance For Higher Education

I graduated from high school a year early, and have been accepted to college, but because of my early grad. and other obstacles, I am not eligible for certain aid which is necessary in order for me to attend school this fall. I wish to study religion and philosophy, as well as education, as I am exploring my Calling... At this point, I feel led to work in youth ministry.

I am a Pastor of my own church for 4 years now. I currently run the prison ministry outreach for my church. I am married 19 years this July. Two grown children(almost) and I love my church and Jesus.

Arkyfaith Church was conceived by the vision of Pastor Deborah M. Bailey to help lost souls find the true path to Christ, by having many outreach programs available. The church was open for operation in February 2004. Since that time it has became an outreach portal in the following areas:

Shut – INS
Youth groups
Prison Ministry
Mentoring program
Bible study by mail
Caring card ministry
Feeding the hungry worldwide
Christmas cards to the troops
Other charitable events

Our current project: Bibles for prisoners

Our plan is to reach prisoners worldwide and offer bibles and bible studies to those who are forgotten by society. Our project also includes our caring card ministry, which is our initial contact with such prisoners. A postcard and gospel tract is mailed to each prisoner. We acquire their names through varies means, prayer requests from loved ones, other churches or non profit organizations that work with prisons worldwide. The status of said prisoner is not of concern, meaning that any prisoner qualifies for our program. Once said prisoner has received his or her care card envelop a postcard already pre stamped and addressed to the church can be returned for our services.

Our problem lies within the means of financial donations which are currently limited and fall well below operating standards.

The purposed amount we are seeking with your particular institution is $1000. Our total yearly cost of this endeavor is estimated at a little over $72,000, especially with the rising costs of stamps and supplies. This amount is sure to double within the next 5 years.

Reaching he lost is our life mission. No one can be spared at any cost.\

Thank you for your generous consideration and time

I am a christian trying to do right, I work with my churches compassionate ministries. By occupation I am a air conditioning service tech, and a pretty good tech. My driving record has gotten bad. Two or three fender benders, and a DUI a couple years ago, I was stressing over a girl and chose to drown my pain with alcohol. I have also been called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I hope to attend an on line pastorial ministry program with Nazarene Bible College, but with not being able to find work, I can only hope and pray GOD will make a way for me to succeed wih my life goals. If GOD should touch your heart to reach out and help a hurting soul, Iwill use your help for the glory of God. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As a former convict and someone who led a completely destructive lifestyle I have devoted my life to helping others overcome the same. God has laid it on my heart to start up a ministry devoted to this cause. The ministry name is Radical Regeneration Ministry. It started out as myself going into the jail once a week and talking to the men there about life destructive behaviors and how through the power of Jesus Christ we can overcome that. Since this point, the ministry has come to the point where we are branching out into new areas and trying to reach not only jails and prisons but also high schools as well as establishing a motorsports team to take recovery into other much needed areas. Due to this expansion we must at this time form a 501-c3, get insurances etc. This is where we are short on funds. PLease call 407-744-7557 if you would like more info or God has laid it on your heart to help. Thank youand God Bless

Attending Immanuel Lutheran Church

I am a single, Christian Mom of three children.  We have been here, in Palm City; this small suburban community on the central/southeastern coast of Florida for just over seven [7] years.  My children had previously attended a small Lutheran school in Michigan in previous years, despite the "battles" that they face in public school, all three [3] have thrived.

I am a former Christian Child Care provider that specialized in assisting "welfare-to-work" families/programs.  Since my daughter's near fatal illness and subsequent surgery, we had to close the Day Care, and relocate to Florida.  Since her health has steadily improved, I became very involved with my local Lutheran Church and the YMCA as a program director that served some sixty [60] or so families with a literacy/mentoring program that was a partnership between the Florida Alliance of YMCA's and the Volunteer Florida foundation.

I have successfully been a "cog" in the work of the Lord in providing quality programming to our community through church-sponsored programs and community-wide Associations.

I am no one special, and yes; have too admittedly fallen prey to the system to which I have counseled so many other young families to in the past.  My saving grace, is that I know that it is all for a reason, and that valuable lessons are being learned in the process.  Yet, it does indeed take a village to raise a child, and during any one of my children's next performances, I will indeed shed a tear or two, and remember that.

Helper needs help

Hello, I'm Shawn. I am a 28 year old wife, mother, minister and outreach ministry director. My husband and I have 6 children, 3 stay with us full time. The Lord has truly done great things in the life of my family. We have had a lion's share of upsets and heartaches over the last few years. Over the past 2 years, we have been homeless living in a motel for over a year. We have seen death strike our family more than once. Our church family abandoned us because their doctrine didn't support me accepting the call of ministry as a woman. This, I think this hit me the hardest. The Lord showed his mighty hand when he blessed us with the a place of our own a year ago. It was through this testimony we started Esther Ministries, our outreach ministry. It was in the heart of these trials that the Lord told me, "If you take care of mine, I'll take care of yours." From that moment forward, we started to look for those who had needs that we could assist with. In no time at all, we were overwhelmingly aware of the needs in our community. Our client base has started to outweigh our resources. It is just me and my husband trying to get Esther Ministries off the ground with few resources and a desire to call people to Christ by meeting others at their level of need. We have been so excited about the things that the Lord has done in the lives of the people we service. The start of this year came in with the force of a NFL quarterback. I was informed that I might have cancer. I fell and injured my knee on a new job to find out that they didn't have worker's comp. We were broad-sided with a miscarriage. All of these things have come with a hefty price tag. With all of this we have fallen behind on our rent and utilities. With childcare so high, no car and now my knee injury, my husband's waiter income can't seem to get a handle on our bills and we are in need of a financial blessing. I know the Lord has already molding this situation for his glory and I am so blessedly excited to see it. When the Lord is getting ready to manifest something in our lives, he sends a person and a word. He sent the word and it is faithful. If the Lord put it on your heart, can you be that person.
