My name is Chris Stopczynski and I am 25 years old living in the Raleigh, NC area.  I grew up in the UP (upper MI) and also in Boise, ID.  After graduating high school, I went and served a mission for my Church in NY and I was there during 9/11.  My wife and I met and knew we were supposed to get married and we were married in 2003.  We want to have a big family and love children and so we had our first child in 2004 and our second in 2005.  My wife had a miscarriage a few months ago but we are grateful because she just became pregnant again with our third child.

While having a growing family, I currently attend college at NC State University and am working on my undergrad degree in Business Management and Marketing.  To support my family while I attend college, I work fulltime as a Field Manager for a cabinet distributor.  I value my education and work hard to obtain good grades and have over a 3.85 GPA.  My goal is to finish my degree and become a home builder one day so that I can have a job where I can spend lots of time with my family.

Personal interests I have are my family of course, I love the house building process and learning about new techniques and ideas builders use, I enjoy running and hope to run a marathon someday when I finish college, and I enjoy hunting a great deal.  I like living in NC but I miss living out west and being able to hunt big game.

"Our only hope ls our children and olderfolk," Good God in heaven knows, the "powers that be" sure won't change their ways and help the backbone of america. Things went bad when we started moving Grandpa & Grandma out of the home into oldfolks homes. The kids lost precious teachings that are vital to life. The olderfolk lost their reason to be. All in the name of Bigger, better, faster and longer! We have a vast number of children lost in fostercare, on the street, and in broken homes. And with the great number of functioning olderfolk lets take some of the failing family farms and put them together? This is my idea. The children have not only lost the joys and lessons that Mom and Dad have no time to teach. But what is more, They don't learn how to be Human. Look around, We are in deep we must begin with our children so that when they are "The powers that be" they wil treat their familys with a bit more Humanness. One farm is all we need to start.   A. I just found this site today and so I am still unsure how this works, and am still feeling my way around a bit. I am a single mommy of two little boys, who are my heart. I am also a full time college student, and sell on ebay as well. Right now I have no income, other than what I try and sell on Ebay. I have severe depression and anxiety attacks.. and it is difficult for me to find work. Although I do try and do what I can from home. . I am in great need of help with bills at the moment and simple things that are hard for me to come by right now such as diapers, toilet paper, etc..

I have posted a number of sites for others to take a look at that I have found to be helpfull, but they can only help so much and I am in great need at the moment.

We have plenty of food, so this is a blessing. But really need help to get my car insurance and plates, so i can take the kids to doctors appointments, etc..

We also have a heat shut off notice as well as an electric shut off notice, ( I can show copies to anyone willing to help us with this, or even contribute directly to the utility companies themselves) (I have sought help at community agencies, to no avail)

I have no one to turn to to ask for help.. So i am turning to this online community in hopes that someone can help... even if its jus a few dollars, it can add up to a package of diapers, etc..

My email and pay pal are sdelan05@gmail.com

Also I would love to find a female friend in my area that I can chat with and be friends with.. I have no friends in this small town..

If nothing else... a big blessing would be to find a strong community of female positive friends... someone that i can meet and we can uplift eachother with cards in the mail, emails, etc... I have a HUGE heart and value friendship very highly....I am the sort of person who likes to create lifetime friendships...

I have also been through many obstacles in my lifetime and survived much.. and so I can relate to what many people are going through, because I am either going through the same thing or have at one point in time in my life...

Thanks everyone... feel free to add me to your pages... I do not quite know how to do so myself quite yet... also if anyone could help me post my profile picture.. I am having a difficult time getting it to work.. thanks..

 YOU CAN CHANGE MY LIFE

Help me pay for College while supporting my wife and children...

My name is Chris and I am 25 yrs old and am trying to finish my undergrad degree in business so I can provide a good life for my family.  I am married with 2 sons, ages 2 1/2 and 14 months old and my wife is again pregnant!  We try very hard to be super frugal and do everything possible to stay out of debt, but while having a family and attending college it is not always easy to pay for high tuition and expensive textbooks.  We have $7,000 in student loans already and I have another year and a half to complete my degree, and that is if I take 15-18 credits a semester, which I am deadicated to do while working fulltime.  I am committed and value my education and while working fulltime and having a family, I still work hard to get excellent grades and currently have a GPA of over 3.85.

I love my family and my wife and I are old fashioned and want my wife to stay home with our children so I work fulltime and go to school fulltime.  I am asking for just a little help, so that my family will not suffer with debt over our heads when I finish my degree.  I want the best for my children and I know it is so important for me to obtain my degree.  So I live my life working towards that and trying to keep my family out of debt.  My wife and I value each and every dollar we receive and any donations of any small amount will be GREATLY appreciated.  We thank our Heavenly Father for every blessing we receive and any donation we receive would definitely be a blessing in our lives.  If you can help in any small way, we would never waste a penny and we would put it directly towards paying for my education.  If you have an extra $1, please know that it would go to a great cause and another American would be able to finish a college degree and provide for their family.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and God bless.

Chris

Goodness, this is so hard. This is such an awesome site, and so many great people helping each other on so many ways..I really have a long story and I truly am not trying to whine, really but oh my Lord times are tough. O.k. I'll just jump right into it so here goes...:)

Married to a U.S. Army Veteran for almost 15 years, (my junior high sweetheart)..Two bright, wonderful, sweet children directly from God. They are 14 and 11. My husband got out of the Army in '97 and went directly to work in the field he is still in today. In 2005 Katrina hit us, and right after that he was laid off from the company he had been with since he got out of the army. The company was forced to close due to too much loss as a result from dear Ms. Katrina. Luckily at the time we had a little savings, but that went so quickly. Family helped as much as they could and he finally was able to get on with a new company doing the same job in 2006, we doggy paddled trying to get out from under the mountain that formed amazingly fast and things were starting to look alot brighter for us by 2007. During this time we were living with his parents, and finally got back into a home of our own in March of '07. Things went smoothly for a little while until a new corporation took over the one he was working under...there were alot of adjustments to make and work slowed down to a snails pace. Our family motto is "Through God all things are possible" and "And this too shall pass". We believe these things like nothing else. In January of this year his company just pulled out without any warning, their home office is in another state and there is no phone number or address in which to find these people. There was no last paycheck, no severance package...no "sorry, tough luck"..nothing..It is amazing how cruel life works sometimes, but we keep fighting the good fight..but we are losing fast. The landlord served a 3 day eviction notice today, I had been able to scrape up the rent for February, but didn't pay until Feb. 28th. We are now late, late, late for March ($600.00)..and going into April :( Another (600.00)....Utilities (500.00)

Total:$1700.00 that hurts just to type that

Now for the second part of our story..On March 5th, my husband had been out job hunting and was on his way home..well about 6 miles from home he ran out of gas on the side of the road. This was at about 7 p.m. He walked part of the way and then a great samaritan stopped and picked him up and brought him home. We thought we would just hop into my car and go right back to pick up the truck..here we go...the battery in my car was dead..no battery charger and none of the neighbors was available to jump us off. So my husband..bless his heart..at 1 a.m. he took off on our son's bike with the gas can in a plastic shopping bag slung over the handle bars.. Rode the 6 miles back to where the truck was and no truck was there..he had left his hazard lights on...left his strobe lights on...put out safety cones ALL around the truck..it was gone! So he rode the bike all the way back home, it is roughly 2:30 a.m. by now. We call the Sherriff's Department "Yessir we had it towed due to the fact that it was obstructing traffic"...just great...all of his tools, equipment..his entire livelyhood is on that truck.......so we call towing company...($120.00 towing fee + $25/day storage). "Can we at least get his work equipment off the truck, so that he may work to pay to get the truck out of storage"???????? "No ma'am, not until you pay all the fees".......By the time we got any amount of money the fees has accumulated so much that we cannot even touch what they want now, which is over $600.00..they are selling his truck April 25th...I guess right along with everything he needs to work.......My grandmother always said "when it rains it pours" I never knew quite what she meant until now. So we keep chugging along, just trying to make lemonade out of all these lemons, but I am so tired. We are both looking for work continuously. The bright side of all this, my babies are still smiling and holding their heads up...God is awesome! I am hoping that someone...somewhere may be able to help us, while we are trying to help ourselves..I have always believed in "doing my good deed for the day", because it always comes back around... be it in a special prayer from someone..a chuckle...a hug..a hand up??? Please if anyone can find it in their hearts to help, I will find any possible way to "pay it forward".

God Bless

I am a disabled vietnam era veteran. About two years ago I suffered and saw first hand the obstacles that people and families in need go thru when they are struck with an unforeseen incident. The world can turn into a cruel and cold and lonely place. It seems that the only visitors that approach you are people that want to take their pound of flesh. All the collectors come to collect their debts and there is no way of holding them off. Sometimes families are forced to make harsh and rash decisions just in order to survive the tradegy.

I do not want anyone to feel the way that I did when I had my strokes. Dealing with the feeling of complete loss and disarry of your life only compounds itself on your situation. It harms both you and the family around you in so many ways. The emotional, physical and financial strain can become unbearable. Along with the illness and long sleepless nights you are also plagued with the ever approaching feeling of doom. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO SURVIVE!!!

I was able to first hand experience this and to speak with others that have gone through these incidents also. There are a few basic needs that must be met in order to get through this crisis safely and remain in a stable environment.

Basic needs include but are certainly NOT limited to:

Food / Shelter / Medical Care

Knowing that someone cares and that there are people who can or want to help, makes a big difference in bridging the gap to becoming healthy and viable again.

What I have decided to do and wish to attempt to pass on to people are both the basic needs and the knowledge that there are others that care and sympathize with people in need.

I hope to help bridge the gap between the needs and the needy!

I am starting a non-profit organization to help veterans and their families cope with the difficult and rocky time between receiving either their benfits or their pension. I wish to exted this service also to the homeless in need.

I need help to get this venture started. Any help from you would help out the cause greatly!!!  One of the things that we need too do is purchase wholesale/discount/surplus items to raise  funds for the cause.
We can't do this without you and there are people waiting to be helped. Please help us bridge the gap between the needed and needy.

I want to be an organization that ACTUALLY helps, not just a name that people are turned away from when they are in need.

Hello everyone, I will try my best to explain mine and my familys situation and maybe someone somehow will be able to help us in a true time of need. my husband was disabled with a rare disease in 1999 called syringomyelia (a cyst that grows inside his cervical spinal cord) My 13 year daughter was diagnosed with two different conditions when she was 13 and is now 16 years old. She is having to take florida virtual schooling because of her health conditions, I feel so sad for her because of all her High School memories that she will be missing out on, some good, some bad, but at least they would be her memories. Her (1 condition) is called the conversion disorder and her (2 condition) is nuero cardio sincapeid. We have become very far behind on all our bills, rent, utilities etc. while trying to pay for my husband and my daughters medicines. I will admit part of me is scared at this point in all of our lives but yet I pray every night that the Good Lord will open a door for us. this website i dont know maybe maybe not, but here i go any help out there or any donations that can be spared at this time, will be so deeply and truely appreciated and a blessing of mircales at this time in our lives. Thanks B.

Hi, I'm 48 years old and a single mother of two teanagers and it is been very difficult for me to meet my ends.  My house is in foreclosure and i need to pay for two months the amount of $1300.00 in order for the bank to put me in a repayment plan.  I haven't pay my utilities for two months and if i don't have at least $500.00 by tomorrow, most probably they will be disconecting my electricity and water.  This is an act of faith that i'm doing, i believe that there must be somebody out there that will be moved by my situation. I have a job but i'm not making enough money to cover my expenses.  I believe in angels and i know that there will be somebody to help me and the rest of the other human being that are asking for help in this web page.  Thanks and God bless you!
