I am a single mother of two children 10 and 13. I am a nurse which is a good profession but I can't manage to stay afloat these past few months. My son was diagnosed with Wolf White Parkinson's Syndrome last year and ever since then it's been a steady down-fall.  I cannot get any public help because I do work and want to continue working. I work 2 full time jobs currently. My needs may be large to some, small to another...I need assistance with my current bills, currently behind 2 months on my mortgage.  If anyone could help, please let me know I would greatly appreciate it, I'm not looking for a hand-out...I could repay a loan in monthly payments. I am a mother of a beautiful 8 month old baby boy.  Recently my sons father got into some trouble with the law, and was deported to mexico. He will not be coming back for a while, if ever. I dont get anything from him since hes gone. I am on welfare, but its not enough to take care of a baby and mysef. When he was deported, i had only the money i get from welfare coming in, which was not nearly enough to pay for our appartment.. I had no place to go..my father who lives in a senior mobile home community allowed me to move in with him temporarialy..because it is against the rules for me and the baby to live with him. Janurary 15th is my last day here. I am saving everything i can but its not going to be enough for security deposit and rent. What i need is help with a cheap appartment, mobile home....or if there is someone out there willing to rent a room to me and my baby..please let me know. Also..since i am saving money for our move..i am unable to buy anything for my son for christmas. I do realise he is to young to understand..but i understand..and it hurts thinking that , for my sons first christmas he will not be getting any gifts. If you can help...he is 8 months old..and he needs clothes (size 9-12 month), toys, shoes (size 2-3),  or anything that you would be willing to help me with. I dont care if its used..I only care that there will be somthing 'new' for him this christmas.

I need help to pay off medical bills and past due bills. I am a 100% disabled veteran and single mother of one and have no outside insurance. I recently had to have surgury to have full hysterectomy due to tumors and since the veterans wouldn't cover it and my $900 a month disability check is too much to qualify for state medical help i'm falling deeper and deeper into debt. I currently owe close to 15k and am afraid I'm going to lose my one and only car that I need to get to my appts over an hour away (as thats the closest veterans hospital to me). I despretely need help to get caught up and get my credit restored so my daughter and I can try to start our own small business and stay in the black. I've been fighting the veterans administration since 1991 when I got chemical burns in desert storm for some assistance as I was forced to drop out of college due to my severe asthma from the burns. I truely believe there are still decent people out there willing to help someone who truely needs it and am even willing to pay back the money over time if I can just get out of this hole we are stuck in. Hi, I really dont know how to even begin to ask for help. This is the most humbling thing that i have ever done. I am recently single, after my husband moved to las vegas on what was supposed to be a "temporary trip". Well, needless to say, he never came back, and will not answer my phone calls. I work  full time and attend college full time and I also have 2 small boys. 4 and 2. I am broke, actually i am beyond broke. I dont have food for my kids, or even a stove to cook on. Today, my car broke down. I have no idea how i will get to work on monday if i dont get my car fixed. Please, can anyone help?

Hi I'm 28, dreamed of having a child for 10 yrs.I worked in 4 day cares,babysat for everyone. My dream was to have a baby girl. I finally did with my high school sweet heart. He ended up being the worse possible father of our beautiful precious girl,Makayla. We went through so many arguments and fights just to try and get him to feed her,play or to even acknowledge her.He was raised by an alcohol and no mother. Could that be his problem? I still can not understand. I kicked him out then I couldn't pay my bills,then I moved in with a friend. He let my cousin rob me. Half of my stuff and Makyla's stuff still there.(Ithink)and hope) I moved in with my mom,well staying herein a one bed apt. She's about to get evicted because we're not allowed to be here so long. She signed a lease by the housing comission for here.

I am a single mother with one child at home.  I've been unemployed since February, and have exhausted my resources.  I have past due house and car payments.  I'm on unemployment and have had numerous interviews, which result in "Your qualifications are impressive but do not meet our needs at this time."  I've got over 25 years administrative experience but was at a fairly high salary level for my field when I was fired due to corporate reorganization. 

Due to my age, my former salary level, the fact that I was fired, and who knows why else, I am having trouble finding work.  Any help would be appreciated.  My most urgent need is cash, to buy food and pay bills.

I am a single mother of two wonderful kids. I work 40 hours week. I don't go out because I beleave that a brought these two beautiful children into the world and it is my responsibility to raise them with good values, honesty and pride...and lots of love. I have recently found out that my ex took a $30,000.00 equity loan out on the house while we were married. I got the house in the divorce. It is now my responsiblity. He had an affair while we were married and I found out about it and filed for divorce. I have found out now that at the time of the signing over of the house to me and me signing over the business to him that I incurred all debts toward the house. I was doing good before this happened and now I'm not. I am trying to make it and not loose my home. I feel beaten up over the affair but this was the icing on the cake. If anyone has any advice on finances, it would be greatly appreciated. I am in the process of looking for a second job. The thing that scares me about that is my children, they need guidance and structure in their lives and if I'm working 24-7 I'm worried I won't be their to show them the right path in life.

I had a stroke recently, the only problem is I lost my voice. Nothing else has happened, no muscle problems.  The big problem is I'm a Customer Serrvice Tech.  And lost all of that.  During what I am trying to say, is part of the Stroke, it tends to make me say something sort of wacky.

The problem I've had is my social Security is not paying much of anything.  I started working after my divorce and in the time I've worked, it wasn't enough time to have my ssd with out paying more then 450 per month. 

I have a car and a couple of credit cards and would like someone to help pay these payments for me...... when ever i will have to get another job I will pay you back. and of course i have a life insurance that I could add you to it.

I would love to help with this as I don't even have a place to live or anything else.

Even if someone could help with using the computer to help earn cash it would be helpfull.

I need financial help immediately... I have been evicted and need to find an apartment.  I currently receive unemployment but it was not enough to save my home.  I need to find another home right now.  I would like to pay off all of my debt.  Once I am out of this financial situation, I will be a good steward of my finances.  I hope and pray and believe that by faith it will happen.

This is somethinig i thought i will never do, and when i red something like asking for help over the internet it was like watching tv, it seemd so unreal.

But tonight, on 17.04.2008. i am writtinig my first letter. I hope it will be also the last. I am 30 y old ,livinig in Croatia,Europe.I am happily married. Two years ago life of my husband and my life changed.

We are together for 13 years, when i finished school, i got a job, he got a job, and we started slowly our life together. In few years we get a car, then we  had some years of work experience so i could take a credit, we bought our house, we decorated and furnitured as much as we could.All of that time, we had two paycheqs, so even if we had credits and all, we took some small trips on weekends or on summers and enjoy our life and all we have build together. It was really just so perfect that we were thinking ..ok, now we have the important things..jobs,house..and soon we can start thinking of having childrend. But ,life is life, and the plans for us were different. The firm where my hubby is working in one part of the working day, had an explosion, and from that moment he have medical problems, but the most important problem is his heart.So now is almost 2 years that my hubby isn t working .We have two lawyers, each one is for different matter, but law and our institute is so slow that he didn t recive any money jet, and the firm said that it is their fault for explosion and all.And even after that, nothing is not working jet. All the time he is not working he goes to hospital control. Last year he had heard attack and  haed stroke and he is only 36 y old. Now after passing all medical control( it also took almost 2 years) ,he has medical documents ,and has to make a surgery. Doctors said within 6 months, but it passed 6 monts and we are still waitinig for someone to call us,and give us a date, but all we can do is wait and wait..No one to help us out. I hope surgery will come soon so we can go on with our life where we stoped.

We are happy that we don t have to pay all the medicine, but with all the credits in the Bank for house, car, bills, lawyers, ...all that after 2 years and one paycheq become really hard. Now i have also diners, american card, just to take mony out,where i pay everytime provision... and all kind of totally bad credit from small banks where i pay almost 60% interests per year...and  it came to that, that i have to ask my colleagues from work some money,but i have to pay them back very soon. I must say i don t have my parent support because my mom died when i was 7, my father never really worked,so me and my brother support my dad also.

I am embaresed to ask my family.I know they don t have a lot, they have children of they one,they go to school,college and i know they need money. And to ask some other people from the place i live...well, i was poor all my life, dad who did not worked,so when i was little i had some money from my mom,after she died,law said, children have to have xy amount until they are 18. I started working when i was 15 and half , i went to school and work 3 time a week, and still working, and i am proud what i have acopmlished in my life. Alone ,me and my husband,nobody helped us only our 10 fingers.

But now, i don t know what to do. For more months now i am trying to earn some money over the internet.There are many pages, where i have to click some ads everythey and get paid for that. I can t work overtime in my firm ,because they don t pay that. And our bills are just keep coming. I thought to get another job, in some bar,restourant, but i can t ,because i never know what my shift is in my work.And soon i hope, my husband will go to surgery and after that in recovery place,all that will take maybe one month or more, and i don t have money to give him.He loves to read, when he will go to walk or sit on the terrace ,and want to take some juice or something he will have to pay attention for every single kuna( cents). And i don t like that. The hospital is 250 kilometers away, i don t know when i will be able to visit. All that gives me trouble.

Hmmm...latter is long..Sorry for that..Tonight, this was unnespected that i came to this kind of page..and i just started writtinig. I don t know if someone will read this, or even i don t know how its working.

I think this is the time where i am asking for somebody to help me..But i know that there are people who need more than me.So i am so embaresed to ask anything. But if there are some of you who can help me with some money for paying my bills,and get on my feet until my husband gets better, or anything..i will thank him(you) forever!!

I am a single mother of two teenage boys.  I want to be a nurse.  I already have a  bachelors degree in education (graduated 1991! thanks to my parents, bless their hearts!!) but I have not been able to land a teaching job since my divorce in 1998.  I was able to be a stay at home mom while I was married and I had full intention of beginning a career once my children were in school.  BUT....it has been very difficult to find a job.  I guess they prefer the ones straight out of school or someone with tons of experience.  Well, I have decided that I have a great need to help others and though teaching does a great service, SO DOES NURSING!!  Right??  I understand that there is great shortage of nurses in the US today.   I just need to figure out HOW to go to nursing school, which is full time, and support my kids at the same time.  I need to take two classes before I can enroll in the program and I could take those this summer.  I get $600 a month for child support and I try to substitute teach as much as I can.  Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks so much for just reading my story.  I have faith that there are people in this world who want to make a difference.  I want to be one of those people TOO!!!

my sister need  help, she delivered a premi baby last  tuesday. her husband has been psycologic abuse her . they has been married for about 4 years and they use to live in port st lucie ,so i  did not know how long she has been abuse.
but he got her pregnat for a second time ,her firts kid is 2 1/2 years old,she was very sick during the pregnacy,she went several time to the emergency for i.v, they dont have health insurance .he was never there for her, he sent her with us to take cere of her. he never saw her pain and how sick she was.after she feel little better went back home ,he  did not good with his job  and he need to leave the house they were renting because  an ediction and she try to look  for  a place close to us in boca,he made her belive he will move too but when my sister rented the apparment on her name because his credit was bad,he said  he was no moving and blamed her for abandone her house over there,which it was no house because the ediction.around 1 moth and half ago he said he does not want to be  with her any more , adn took  marcus the toddler with him and treating her with his son ,money, inmigration papers,many others things ,he said she need to do  what he want it and kind of a free relastionship, we did two police stament about it ,thet did not do nothing ,they suggested  go  and ask for help to the court.she was pregnat sufering all this  and did not want to belived about she was abused by him.
after  a cople weeks he came back appologizing ,saying he want his kids and her back ,bla bla bla ,she accepted.he tried to work down here but i dont know what happen he want this free style relationship and my sister did not want it... so she was 35 weeks pregnat,worry go on delivery the baby, they are fine . he did not want to go to the birth he stay home with the toddler he was tired ...my  sister  and me takes turn  to helper . it was very sad...next day he go to visit her at the hospital with the toddler,i was there, and he told her he needs to go to port st lucie to work and he will take the kid with him and he will be back by sunday, my sister did not wanted but he is the father,he left ,call her later told her he rented a place  there and he will keep his son and she can keep the new born,he did not want to tell her an address, and again started with this roller coster of emotions,he did not pay the  rent or bills .he is trating her again with money ,kids...when she was dischared by the hospital the baby stay one more day,i was there taking her several time to  carry the breast milk to the hospital, i went and took her home and he took all his belonings and left her with out even letting her now...
he call her  say he love her but he can not be with her,after he get nasty again.he is a sociopath, he has not  remorse for somebody pain not so ever,i spoked with him to asking him to stop all this ,he said  he is not doing nothing,this is his moment and opportunity and he need to take it.
he full his mouth about he want  the best for his kids wich is  a lye,today he said he will pay the rent  later he said no.he told my sister he want to have his kids 50% of the time because that way he will not pay her child support... and gave her 1 month to get a job
he did not pay nothing up to day,my sister is still very sore phisical and spiritual,she is breast feeding a baby...he left his kid yesterday with her ...but he will come back to take him back to port st lucie and  we dont know where.
we dont have money to help her, we can help with some food ,diaper,and babysitting some times
we dont know what to do,she said she will do all for keep her kids with her and get a job ... she need some direction and help to keep her away of that monster
