I am a currently out of work single mom in central fl. My power gets shut tomorrow and I dont have money for the rent.  I have consistantly worked 32 yrs of my life.  I have a 14 yr old daughter and no family or friends that can help.  We are very frightened we are about to be homeless. I was laid off in August of 2007 and still have not found a job.  My unemplyment has run. All of my bills are overdue, but the main one is my rent.  I am behind in my December rent and the January rent will be due in 2 weeks. My car also died about 2 weeks ago, so this preventing me from seeking work as well. I just need to really cover my rent which is $985.00 per month.  Hopefully social services will come through so that I can pay my utility bills, they will not cover my rent .  I am in desperate need for someone to help me to find a way to pay my rent.  Any suggestions or donations will be greatly appreciated.  I have never been in this situation before and hope that something comes through for me quickly.

Hi, I don't know how this works but I am willing to try just about anything at this point. I have 7 children ages 13yrs down to 6mo. My husband does work (very hard) to support us. He travels everyday 3 hours down to work and 3 hours back because we can't afford to live any closer than we do. We were doing okay but then gas prices went over $3 a gallon where we live and his boss recently decided to stop paying travel expenses. Now we are late on our rent ($600) this month. My husband talked to our landlord last week and she said that it would be okay to pay late this once, but today she called my husband and said that they may just take us to court. I don't know why she suddenly changed her mind about letting us pay late this month since it is the first time we've paid late since we've been here. I need money for food and to pay my rent.  I have not paid rent for 2 months and my landlord is threatening to evict me.  I am a loan officer and have not closed a deal since December.  However, looks like I may close a couple of deals end of the month or first couple of weeks in May, but as it turns out I have $18.00 and my checking is overdrawn. 

 I  am 55 year old female, have no children but I just need help to at least buy groceries and catch up on my rent.

 Please help me.

This is the second time I am posting to try to get help for me and my daughter,no one contacted me last time and I am at a point of desperation in my life now. Hi, I am single parent with a daughter whho is old enough to understand what is going on. I work 45 hours a week at the same factory job I have had for 8 1/2 years. That is my only income . I am going to school on top of that and my bills are just adding up.  Normal bills such as utilities and gas for work and food.  I am trying to do better for myself but right now I am struggling to support myself and my daughter. I cannot bear to see my girl go thru this.  I do need help and right now we are on the verge of being homeless. Please help us and God bless you.

These r our 2 kids an 8 year old and a 2 year old my husband fell and broke his ankle he has been off work 4 2 months and we r very behind on our bills we need imdiate help if any one can help us please do and ty in advanced 4 any help givin i beleive n helping some one when i can and will do so all i can i do not want my children 2 go through what i had 2 go through at thier age when i was thier age me and my 2 brothers mom and disabled grandmother lived n a car and i dont want my kids 2 go through something like that so any help from any one will b greatly appricated ty.
