My wife to be doesn't work, and hasn't for a year now. We have a new baby (born 7-6-05). We only owe a total of $4600 between the both of us. I need to get my car running and registered/ insurance. All the bill collectors want all of thir money now. I'm falling behind, trying to juggle bills and get us out of debt. I pay 12 different bills a month. I am a insulin dependent diabetic 25yrs old with no heath insurance. I need a loan or grant to help me get back to normal. Stressed Out over BILLS. Nobody will give me a loan because I haven't had a loan before...well, I've never needed one this bad. I grew up feeling poor, growing up in a broken disfunctional home. I've never been on a vacation, but I won't miss a day of work. I am trying to make a good life for my wife and child, and I'm soooo close to getting it.

I am feeling really discouraged. My husband & I are hard-working people with one son & a daughter on the way. He works full-time as a frozen food manager at a grocery store & I work part-time at a retail store. (My store doesn't offer full-time unless you are a manager...) We are horribly behind on our power bill & telephone bill. Then my baby is due at the end of October & I will be off work UNPAID for 4-6 weeks. I am scared that my time off will be the difference between us being homeless or not. If we were able to get our bills caught up, it would help immensely. Our power bills is extremely overdue, we constantly put my checking account into negative to pay whatever we can on it to keep it from being shut off. But every month it gets worse. Fuel prices are up & it's the worst we've ever seen. Right now, our power bill (with the overdue fees, & the deposit they just charged us again...) is about $900 dollars. Our phone bill is sitting at $450. Right now our phone is shut off. We desperately need help. At the most we need $1500 to get us on our feet.

I am desperately scared that I will be unable to get all the baby things we need (which is sitting in a layaway with a balance of $306.) .. mostly because we are constantly putting all money into these bills.. only to have a new one show up & be back where we started. If someone was to help us out, I would make an agreement to start making payments back after our tax return & after we can move. (Which is in February/March 2007) or do so in other ways. I am pretty good at making websites .. I would make & maintain it for them. I am willing to do anything if we can just get on our feet & this stress is alleviated. I am already a high risk pregnancy with gestational diabetes & my son was a pre-term birth. If anyone can help out a nice couple who is just hitting hard times .. then it would be appreciated it. I had my first child in January, myself and my fiancee were staying with his mother. Our plan was to stay just long enough to get financially stable and then get an apartment. When we got close to what we needed to move out, we started the process of applying for an apartment. When I told his mother this, she kicked us out. This was when our son was 2 and a half months old. We took out loans wherever we could to get us by until things smoothed out. That was in March, and now, in July, its all we can do to make ends meet. Of course, our son comes first, and he is fed and clothed before we are. I work at a restaraunt and can bring home food at night for free, so my fiancee and I eat a lot of takeout. We have almost been evicted twice, due in major part to the fact that due to our poor diet, my fiancee got kidney stones and was out of work. We could not afford the medication they prescribed him for the nausea. He works as a driver for a landscaping company, so being nauseas and doubled over in pain made it impossible for him to work even a little. This directly followed my being out of work because I can't afford daycare. I am dangerousely close to losing my car, and if that happens, I will have to quit my job, but if I pay for it, then I can't pay rent. I need $550.00 in order to make my bank account positive. Otherwise, I will lose the account, which means the car.

Our bills are adding up, and I hate asking for help, but with all of the expenses of the new baby, and all of the bills... I am just really scared that we will never get on our feet, and he will be 18 one day, and can say that his parents were evicted 23 times since he was born (my childhood), or that his parents split up and he doesn't see his father except to pick up the child support money (his father's childhood).

I need some help getting through the summer. I just had a baby 4 weeks ago and have a 4 year old. I work for the school district and in the summers I don't get paid enough to make ends meet, but I make too much to qualify for any assistance. We are struggleing to pay our bills and need about $250 to cover everything, not including food and gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I gave birth to a baby girl nine months ago and I am expecting in Nov. another bundle of joy.  I have an 11 year old son also.  With all of these wonderful surprises our vehicle is falling apart. With the only prenatal physician being out of town 2 hr round trip i am not sure how much longer my vehicle will last. paying just our living expenses has been hard enough car repairs simply seem impossible.
