I need your help in getting my unborn son his surgery. he will be due May23rd of 2007. he has a diaphragmatic hernia. This is were is liver, stomach,and intestines are up in his just preventing his lungs from growing. He has a 50/50 chance of living. We live in southern IL, and have to travel to Philadephia, were he will get his surgery. Philadephia has been ranked number 1 in the world for the past 7 years. My son will get his surgery by the number one surgeon in the world, for children. We have alot of hope. We need your help in covering the medical bills. If my son makes it through his surgery he will be in an intensive care until for many months. He will be put on a ventalor,feeding tube, and a ecmo machine to help give him oxygen.When he is able and better, then we will beable to return home with our beautiful baby boy Landen Matthew Hayden. Thank you so much for your time. Ineedcashasap Here is what you should do. Read at least 5 stories of other people posting on Aidpage. Think about why your friends don't understand and your parents are angry.

Get a job to earn the extra money and postpone your birthday party until you can afford it the way you want it to be.

Aplologize to your parents for causing them stress and heartache.

Thank your friends for caring enough to wonder why you want what you do . Ask them what they would do .

Volunteer your time to help someone who is homeless and has kids the same age as you . Help them plan a birthday party.

The doctors think that the damage to my knees are extensive but my employer says the injuries are unverified and has convinced the insurance company to hold off treatment. Even though I have been treated terribly by my employer and the insurance company, I still have faith in the caring and compassion of others. It is with this belief that I humbly ask for help. I worked for a racist, sexist fashion retailer who primary sales (millions of dollars) come from women and blacks.  After working for him for 5 years, I was fired (owner denies firing me) because I had gotten hurt in the store and after about 1 1/2 years still working while supposed to be on limited duties (but not allowed to) hadn't healed fast enough.  I was fired 10 months ago and hearings for the case have been put off every month for the last 8 months.   I would like to write a book to expose this man's unethical, immoral and illegal activies.

I am in a bit of a bind and could use some help. I have never used a site like this before but I thought I would give it a try. I had to go to an as needed basis at work in Feb (I am a CNA) because we had no clients close enough that I could work for with out spending more in gas that I was making. Since going on as needed I have had no work. Now our bills are severly behind and things are getting worse by the minute. Things are starting to be turned off and I have no idea how to stop the domino effect that is taking place. I have cut back on everything that I know how. My son is in pre-k and I have even had to keep him out of school some because I do not have enough gas to get him there and back. We have tapped out all of our resources. I am trying to sell Avon to make up for some of the loss of me not working right now but I can't seem to get enough customers to pay the bills. I could really use some help as bad as I hate asking. I have been in tears all evening and I don't know what else to do. I am hoping that I can find some relief here if only for 1 month to get us caught back up. If we only had $800 we would be caught back up and would ease some of the strain on my husband who is putting in overtime to try to make ends meet. Please help.

 Mother of three need help until I can get back on my feet. I lost my job back in December but was hires as a waha agent with an online telecommunications provider. Iwas paid for training at my states min. wage. It averaged to be $164. for the 38 hrs. of training. I recived my check when I was suppose to and everything. Then the day comes I'm going to actually go to work and nothing. It loads everythng like they said it would in training but it don't recognize me. ANyway...to make a long story short. I have finally been able to log on but know there are no schedules. Imagine,that? Anyway... I have been looking for an outside job here but now my money has ran out. The gas company wants around $315. by Now,my rent was caught up until my landlord showed up yesterday and gave me an eviction notice b/c my rent check bounced. She has given me until Monday. My car note is a month behind. He is kind enough to work with me but I realize he has a business to run and needs his money just as well. I do have a pay pal account but I am not asking for anymoney be sent to me directly I will give you my account numbers and phone numbers,ETC. I wouldn't be asking but I have no where else to turn. I am feeling a little bit better today. I was seting here and a company I applied for about a month ago called and set an interview for Monday. So, even if you don't help me out financially.Pray for me that I do get this job. I might be homeless by the time I get it but at least I will have a way to get my kids back with a roof over their heads. Besides,if they cut off the heat we can't stay here anyway. It's like 33 degrees outside. I have contacted several area agencies but everyone seems to be out of funds. So,I officially have no where else to go. Hello,I'm a single 26 year old mother of a seven year old and a baby on the way.The reason I am on this website is to see if there is any kind person out there caring enough to help me out.My son and I have been staying with my elderly parents for over a year now.We moved in because my ex-boyfriend was very abusive towards me,beating me on a daily basis,sexually abusing me,breaking into my apartment and my son was witnessing most all of this.What really pushed me to the edge is that he broke into my house one night and (after I called the police)damaged almost all of my property and stole money and other valuables from my son and I.I decided to move in with my parents for safety even though I knew they couldnt afford it.I planned on starting community college in January to better myself because I was always an honor student and very smart in school.At that time I found out I was pregnant.Since then I have been going downhill.The little bit of child support I was recieving has been cut off for unknown reasons.I have been job searching faithfully,but when employers see that you're pregnant,they're not really interested.My parents cannot take care of my son and I and my baby thats about to born September 3rd.I dont know what to do,and  I need to move very soon into a three bedroom apartment.If I could get a little boost financially to help me get on my feet,move and get settled,I plan to return to work six weeks after my baby is born.I live in the Winston-Salem,NC area where there are not many resources for single moms.If theres anyone out there that can help my children and  I out financially or in any way please contact me .Thanks,God bless.

I just found this site today and so I am still unsure how this works, and am still feeling my way around a bit. I am a single mommy of two little boys, who are my heart. I am also a full time college student, and sell on ebay as well. Right now I have no income, other than what I try and sell on Ebay. I have severe depression and anxiety attacks.. and it is difficult for me to find work. Although I do try and do what I can from home. . I am in great need of help with bills at the moment and simple things that are hard for me to come by right now such as diapers, toilet paper, etc..

I have posted a number of sites for others to take a look at that I have found to be helpfull, but they can only help so much and I am in great need at the moment.

We have plenty of food, so this is a blessing. But really need help to get my car insurance and plates, so i can take the kids to doctors appointments, etc..

We also have a heat shut off notice as well as an electric shut off notice, ( I can show copies to anyone willing to help us with this, or even contribute directly to the utility companies themselves) (I have sought help at community agencies, to no avail)

I have no one to turn to to ask for help.. So i am turning to this online community in hopes that someone can help... even if its jus a few dollars, it can add up to a package of diapers, etc..

Hi, everyone.I'm here looking for assitance.my name is Thasku Joseph. I am from Guam USA a tiny island in  the south pacific about 300 miles a way from the Phillipine.the problem I had since June 2003 until now is my spinal cord and diabetic. I was in the wheel chair before I went to Hawaii for surgery but now I'm still suffer and pain I cry to our lord to at least make me walk again. I thanked to the Lord for let me walk with gain but I walk very slowly like an old man.I'm 46 yrs old. because my family is poor and my self I can't afford to pay for my plane ticket and another surgery. my doctor in Hawaii recomanded me to get another surgery after 2 or 3 yrs but I can't because  of financial situation. when I had my first surgey, it took 10 hours that day to have my procedure done. but when my doctor visited me in my bed the next day he told me I still have left over problem on my spine to remove the deases from spine cord (disc). he also told  me with in 2 or 3 yrs he would remove the rest of spinal cord deases that causes my nerve system not funtion properly.my spinal cord problem is at the edge of my spine on my neck close to my head. this is the main reason it affects   both  my harms, and my body, especially, my legs are the worst. I suffered daily and cried to the lord to protect and take care of my pain and other difficulities. this is including my family's needs.I get SSDI only $373.00 a month, I have 2 girls 9 and 10 yrs old. they are in school.my wife is unemployed and also has menthal problem. I hardly can't afford to buy my kid's personal needs such as clothes, school supplies, and etc. my SSDI goes to our house's bill.I was lucky the first time I had my first surgery because I was fund raising and especially coupon churches were helping me out.and now Im just staying home sometimes I excercise swimming and praying.I write my story because I need you people out there to  at least read and know that I need you people help to send my kid's used clothes or for my family as well. if you can please help me with little money, I do really appreciated and I accepted. My husband died unexpectedly, he did not have life insurance or health insurance, he was never ill. Two months later, I lost my job. The next day, I filed for unemployment and registered with the TWC for help to find a job. I received unemployment until August. I applied for every job that I qualified for in the TWC listings, there were many, I only got a few interviews. I am not sure that the job postings were up to date, so many of them sent me responses that the jobs were closed. Some jobs were posted a day or two before they were to be closed. I have sent out so many cover letters with resumes and applications. I have checked with my references, no one has contacted them. I feel like I've been sending out paper airplanes into empty space.  Many of the applications have gone to State agencies which list job vacancies.

I am diabetic and am out of my medications, I was on the Aim Low program in my county, in August they sent a letter about changes, I called to be rescreened (first screened in May) and was told to call back later, this is what happens each time I call, I am clearly qualified. Initally, in May, I applied to several of the prescription assistance programs and was approved, they were sent to the Aim Low pharmacy. I found out by accident that they had arrived and had been there a month without my being contacted. I finally received them but have received none since and have not been able to see a nurse/dr for refill prescriptions. I don't know where to turn as my diabetes cannot be ignored. I am following what I've been taught in managing my diabetes, but that is not enough without the meds I was prescribed by my doctor while I was still working and had insurance. I have lost alot of weight (40#) and my blood pressure has dropped to a much lower rate than it has been in more than 20 years. I think those factors have helped me with the diabetes complications. 

I receive a survivor's benefit from social security, but it is only enough to pay my rent with $34. left over, I am behind on my utilities and must seek help to get reconnected, often. My car engine light blinks constantly and it runs "rough" needs spark plugs changed and maintenance work, so my gas mileage is poor. On the weekends I set up with an art group to sell note cards that I paint, and some jewelry that make with left over supplies from better times while my husband was alive and we were both earning. I sell a little, usually enough to pay my booth fee and gas money and a little extra used for food during the week. My back, arms and hands are beginning to be stiff from the loading and unloading each week. My hands ache for days and swell. I don't have medication for that. Last week my allergy to smoke flared up and I have had nerve pain in my jaw, ear and head that is almost unbearable. 

I have a daughter about 20 miles away who ignores me since I asked her to keep my dog, a Lab named Lizzi for 3 days so I could go to help my younger daughter who was having a myelogram to determine therapy for an injury she is still suffering from that was not initally treated properly. She has alot of pain from her injury and is in physical therapy, that is not covered by her insurance. She works, but the therapy is very costly and she does not have money to help me with. My older daughter works and has a partner, who also works, but requires alot of her attention and 3 adopted children.  They do not communicate with me since I asked them to keep Lizzi for those 3 days. They have 2 dogs and 4 cats and a big fenced yard. Several years ago, when they were living in a condo, they dumped Lizzi with us when they didn't have a yard. Lizzi is very well trained and is always on a leash with me. the vet told us she was traumatized and that she should not ever have to stay in a crate, for any length of time. She loves them and is always so happy to be with them and gets along with their dogs and cats. I am sad that my older daughter seems lost to me. I am so alone. I do have kind neighbors, but to have family that is so close, but distant, is sad. I try not to think about my older daughter, hoping that she will call are show up someday. My younger daughter cannot make trips to visit often as her injury makes a 3 hour drive each way, something very painful to do, and not miss work when she gets back.  I need help and suggestions of how to move ahead, I am not old enough to retire at 62. I have alot of energy to give, just not enough money to make ends meet. I guess I really need caring attention, most of all.
