I'm a mother of 2 girls and a wife.  I don't want a hand out just a hand up.
Need money (loan/grant) for debt/unexpected housing costs

I'm a single mom of two little girls. I work two full time jobs and am slowly catching up on past bills and expenses. Haven't recieved child support in months. The house I was renting is over 100 years old and impossible to heat anymore. The roof leaks, bathroom is horrible and now the floor is actually opening up. You can look down into the basement from the living room! I found an apartment but don't have moving money. If I pay movers/rent/deposit, I get further behind on the car payment. Basically I'm robbing Peter to pay Paul. I can't loose the car. I can't qualify for a loan. All I need is small amount 1000 to 2000 to set straight. I can and will pay back. I just need a hand.  I'm not lazy, I do have a college degree B.A in Sociology that I worked a full time and two part time jobs to get. I'm optimistic it's just this one dark period I'm trying to get out from under.

I'm desperate and I need help.
My husband and I are doing all we can do and it's not enough.  We recently lost a business and still have all the debt left over from this.  We are trying o do the right thing and pay our debts but the constant struggle is wearing us down.  We left our home in Alabama and moved to Louisiana to try to find work.  We still have the place in Alabama that we are paying for we can't sell it for what we owe on it.  We are now living in an old restaurant with our two children.  I want better for my family but just don't know what else to do.  Is there anyone any where that can help?

Two easy ways to do this:

  1. Add a comment or a question here - on this page... or on any other page in this space.
  2. Or, if you want to start a separate thread - make a new page.

Either way is good - the important thing is your participation. On Aidpage, people support each other by speaking out and by paying attention to each other - as simple as that.
