The short version is, I was ainjured many years ago, and have been utilizing all my money, personal items and jewelry to get by.  I now  am in extreme need of help to catch my mortgage up.  My medications cost so much that it has completely broke me financially, and  I a m trying desperately to hold on, emotionally.  My mounting medical costs are extreme, however my biggest fear is losing the home I have.  I already lost tmy previoous hoe due to a severe domestic violence case and divoprce.  I just want to keep what I have, and continue to recover so I may be able to work a little in the future.  I have exhausted availble resources, though not many could help.

I have never beeen so low in my life.  I am asking and praying that someone finds it within them to help me catch up in life so I can keep going.

  I am a Single Mother of four children, ages 23,18,8,& 4 yrs old; I am pleading for a little help so we may relocate into at least a three bedroom house. We live on a very busy street in a duplex without a backyard. To have a house where the lil'tikes could have neighbors to play with would be a dream for them. Not to mention the fact that the children have considerably grown us out of our home here. I currently rent where I have lived in our present location for over 11 years; so to relocate now will not be too difficult but definitely necessary. I have checked with all the local agencies around here for financial assistance to help me in this relocation. But, had no luck do to the fact we are indeed blessed not to be homeless. I have checked into the cost, and it will cost us a substantial amount of about $3,200.00 to relocate my family at the bare minimum. We would be extremely grateful for any help we could get to gather the funds it will take for such a move. I have managed to set aside so far $250. Trying to pay for graduation and save while also seeing to the needs of the children is in it’s self a very difficult task. If some one would consider even helping us out with a loan, I would be willing to work that out if posible as well.

Urgent: $300 needed to pay for 12 CLEP credits. I need the credits posted to recieve my BA. My family is experiencing financial hardship and we have to pay for rent and car insurance--we have no money to pay for the credits! The busar's office stated I couldn't recieve a waiver for CLEP credits, but they were willing to wait until 6/15/07 for payment. I need to meet the deadline in order for the degree to be conferred in May (which is required for admission to grad school for Fall! My tuition and living expenses will be covered--but only if I'm able to get my degree conferred for May! Please help! I'd even appreciate a loan!   

I am a mother of two very young children, my husband and I both work, however I recently had to quit one job, because I wasn't making enough to pay for childcare. I just got hired yesterday at a new job, but during my time of unemployement we feel behind on bills and were not able to make Mays rent.  The first is rounding the corner and we will owe rent again, I know I can't pay it.  According to the government assistance program we do not meet the income requirements to get emergancy aide.  They don't consider in that debts and bills.  We have exhausted all our funds, and I am not sure how I am going to feed my children, my husband doesn't get paid until next friday, and there is barely any gas in my car for us to get to work.  We are even trying to sell our car and get something less inexpensive, we've had some hard luck.  If anyone can help please email me at camerina_luv@hotmail.com

My family of 4 needs a car badly... We've been out of transportation of our own for nearly a year now, and have not been able to come up with the money to buy a car. It's getting very rough always trying to find rides or people willing to help us get around. Even grocery shopping is difficult because we have no way of getting the groceries home.

Trying to take care of my own debt and take care of 3 other individuals has made it very difficult to save any money.

Having a car would make things much easier for us.

    I am very close to having my electricity shut off. OPPD gave me until July 12th to pay my bill . The problem is that the little money that I have generated has gone to living day to day with my 3 children. I have contacted several local agencies for help but it seems too late for them to help. Please help!

My family just immigrated from the Philippines last year. We used to live a good life and we didn't really struggle financially.

Now, when we moved to the US, our lucked changed. My father who worked as a Social Worker in the Philippines is now only a 'cart pusher' at the airport and is earning 7.50$ an hour. My mother who worked as a court interpreter is currently unemployed and is trying her best to get a new job. Both my parents are of old age my mom is 63 and my dad is 60. 

We used to live in a two story, 4 bedroom house in the Philippines and had a maid who pretty much did all the chores for us. Now, we're living in a room in a house owned by a Filipino family with 6bedrooms and pay 650$ a month for a room that only fits a king size bed and a kitchen table.  Paying rent every month is getting harder and harder for my family, having only my father who's working and earns only 1,000$ a month.

My parents' health aren't very good either. My father had diabetes and both my parents are sick most of the time. And they both are in medication. My dad stopped taking some of his medicines because we don't have the money to buy them and his condition is getting worse.

I am currently applying for a job and had applied for 10 different stores and companies. Sadly, none had accepted me. But I'm still trying hoping that I would get a job and help with my family's financial issues.

So if you have an extra dollar or two, please help us. We're selling almost everything we have in our small place and sadly none of the items were successfully sold. We also got ripped off with the amount of $700 and we badly needed that money for my dad's immediate treatment.

All we need is $1,500  to go back to the Philippines and for my father's medications. please help us.

We urgently need assistance with my electric bill. We have until 5pm today to pay it. We owe $450, of which I have $100 to pay on it today. I may have another $50 later today, but I'm not sure. As of right now, I need $350.  I am unable to work outside the home, and my husband just got a job in Sept after 3 years of being out of work.  We are slowly getting back out from under, and we just need a hand up, not a handout.

My wifes both the kidneys are damaged. She is on dialosys twice a week and doctors suggested me for the transplantation of her kidneys and now I am in need of financial help for her treatment which will be around twelve lakhs. Please, I need your help.  I am asking with a heavy heart, for assistance. I have fallen on hard times and am unable to visit my father who was only given a few months to live.  Next week is my parents 50th wedding anniversary, and out of all of the family, I am the only one not able to make it.  I just cant afford the gas to get me to them.  My family is afraid that this might be my fathers last chance to see the whole family together.  I feel awful, that I am going to miss my parents special day, but I am more upset that I may never see my father again.  I am sorry to have to ask for a hand out, but again, you are my only hope.

URGENT EXTREME MATTER!! I am a 24 year old with a three year old daughter.  On March 27, 2008 my home was vandalized by gang members that live in the community.  This left my family with nothing; they destroyed our apartment.  They stole my flat screen tv, computer and printer, jewelry. How can I survive without love and money?

We are in desperate need of $5000. We have had and still have a lot of financial struggles.

I am a 27 year old disabled mother of 4 children. My husband is 43 and a disabled veteran that can't work due to his injuries (spinal cord injuries). My children are 8, 6, 4 and 3. The problem we are having is devastating to us. We just received our Final Notice to Vacate or Pay from our apartment complex. We don't have the money to pay our rent, utilities, phones or car insurance. We are past due $1,050 as of today and it increases $5 per day after the 6th. When we did pay it for last month, we went overdrawn at our bank. Currently, we are $620 overdrawn. We are not going to have the money to pay our next month's bills either. We desperately need help. I have applied for SSA and SSI. I was denied for my SSA because I've never worked and I just applied for SSI on 06/19/2008. I'm still waiting on that decision. My husband, whom is 40% disabled through the VA, also got denied for his SSA. He's in the process of hiring a lawyer to appeal the denial. This is just one problem. Another problem is that my husband is almost $15,000 behind in child support for his 3 children from 2 previous marriages. We need somebody to help us get back on our feet. If we ever get a large amount of money, my husband wants to open up his own business. That way, we would never have to go through this ever again. To get us COMPLETELY out of debt is going to be expensive; about $200,000. To help us out of the bind we're in now we need at least $7,500. The last problem is that we need a vehicle that seat 8 people. We have a big family and we need the space. I know 2+4=6, but my husband has 2 kids with his 2nd ex-wife and he gets them for visitation. That's the reason we need a vehicle that seats 8. We currently have a 2000 Dodge Durango, but it breaks down constantly.

Please, we are really desperate. We have contacted churches, non-profit organizations and the state for help, but all of them say the same thing, "Sorry, we can't help you." I've tried 211, but they don't have that service where we live. I already have food stamps and medicaid, but I just applied for cash assistance. It could take up to 45 days for them to approve/deny it, but we are always denied because my husband gets his VA Compensation.We got our final notice today (06/21/2008). The apartment complex is gonna start the eviction process on Monday. Please help!!!
