Need financial Assistant

I am 48 and a father of six. I have 7 dependants.  -I have not been working for almost 4 years. Life is becoming difficult. Employers are not very keen to employ persons who are over 40. There a plenty of young graduates out there searching for employments. These graduates are not particulars how much they get pay as long as there are works. I have tried and attended so many interviews but failed to secure any jobs. Household bills are accumulating. House loan has to be serviced and has not been serviced for 6 months. To sustain the family, I do all kind of works. I cut grass, collecting aluminium cans, wash plates etc. The money is not much but at lease  i could provide some foods for the family.

I am appealing to those with kind hearts to extend some financial assistant in the form of small donation. May God bless you all.

With this donation, I would start some small business and sustain my family.

Donation could be forwarded via Debit Card.

I desperately need funding for school!

I am a single mom on welfare in CA. I am currently enrolled at a massage school (California Holistic Institute). I need tuition and living expenses for myself and toddler. The amount for tuition is ~ $5,000 for the 200 hour program and the 550 hour massage therapist program (necessary to take the National Certification exam).

I know that women count as a minority, and we are considered "very low income" so maybe that will be helpful?

If anyone knows ANY grant that I could apply for, I would really, really appreciate dropping me a line with that info!

Kind regards,
Miss Carolyn

I am so tired. I have had such a horrible life, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I am 34 but I feel like I'm 94. I have been on Social Security Disability. I suffer from Major Depression, General Anxiety Disorder, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Anemia, Sleep Apnea, High Cholesterol, Diabetes Retinopathy, Infertility and Advance Periodontal disease. I had a stroke a year ago, the side effects are some stiffness in my thigh and short term memory loss. I've been told I will be completely blind in the next couple of years from the retinopathy. I know that things could be worse. I was told I will not receive additional benefits when it does happen. Social security isn't enough to even cover rent. I have recently gotten divorced and now I am being evicted by my ex husband. My parents are both deceased and I don't have any siblings. I did not know my Mother or her family, Both of my parents died when I was young. The only family members I do have are struggling themselves. I slept in my car three years ago, when I had no place to stay. I've applied for section 8 housing but I've been told since I don't have any children, the wait is three years. I can't afford to live anymore. I don't make enough money to qualify for low income housing. I am so sad and I keep getting the run around from agencies. I really need help. I hope there are some resources available to help me. Please email me if you know of anyone able to help.

Thank you!

Barbara

my daughter and I

I just had a baby girl, she is my world and I want to give her the world.  But I am a single parent, and it is very hard to do everything all by myself.  My daughter is 4 months old, and right now I do not have the money for childcare so that I can go and find a good paying job.  We are living with my parents and we have taken over the living room ( we are sleeping on the ground).  I am trying my best to get us out of here, and all I need is a little help.  Going into the whole parenthood thing I guess I thought that everything would come into place, but it sure has not.  I dont want my daughter to grow up thinking that her mother is a failure, because I cannot provide for her that way that I want to, and need to.

Sad to say, that I am in need of rent, I am a single mom of two little girls 6 months and 16 months, my rent is 1150, and due very very soon. I have no where to go. The father is useless. I have a part-time job and I have to pay the nanny, which she gets half of my pay check, and the other half goes on my girls, for diaper, wipes and anything else that they need. I am on welfare and I get 400 in food stamps but they won't help with my rent due to that I work, but I am not making it. The welfare department says that I make 548 dollars more then what I need to make it a month,  I only make 1200 a month then taxes come out. I am scared and alone and I don't want to leave the place my girls call home. I don't have a picture of me or my girls, b/c this is my work computer and I don't have one at home. If you can help, I would be grateful to you and so will my girls.

Thank you, for taking the time out to read this, and I hope you can find it in you heart to help me in anyway.

Thank you

Update on my family

I hope this will spread some good news on here.

As many of you know, I initially came here looking for help, then shortly therafter my situation changed slightly. Well, I have gotten quite a number of private messages asking how things are going:

My household consists of me, my mom and my two girls. Mom has been paying the nursing home where my dad resides in the amount of just shy of $1,000 a month. This devastated us financially, and to make a long story short, we sank further and further, heck, we just drowned with no way to pull ourselves up and out of a destitute situation. It was horribly bad in every way imaginable.

My mom this month sits with just under $30 in her checking account for the entire month until her social security check comes in at the end of the month, and we share all the utilities in the home. We were told of an elder care attorney that could possibly help us out, so tonight we met with him.

No only did he waive the $150 fee for consultation (that my mom borrowed off of someone), but he also waived the court costs so we may file papers in court to have my mom's payment liability dropped to $0. This means that Medicaid will be ordered by the court to pay that money, as they should have been doing all along. The attorney says this is something that can definately be done, and should have been done a long time ago and sees no problem with our case not being granted. This will financially relieve my mom and in turn, relieve me of the financial stress that I undertaken as well. The paperwork will be filed in court the first week of November, and come December my mom will have close to $1,000 extra every month. This will have such a huge impact on our lives, I cannot even begin to explain it. We both left the attorney's office crying because we felt a huge rock was taken off of our shoulders tonight.

So, even though we will still have some financial issues, we certainly won't be in the situation we've been in for the past year.

This will certainly be an exceptional and blessed Christmas for us.

Sincerely,

Marsha

Where is the hilp for the people that need food and lodging in this country

I have been online looking for ways to help some on my money issue. I found out I can not get government help because I make 200.00 a year to much to get food stamps or any other help. I understand there are people out there that have never worked for a living and has lived off the government; but what about those of us who have worked for years and now cannot get help. With the prices going up for food and everything else, how are those of us on a fixed income get food or the things that are needed for our daily lives. Come on people we need to find a way that all of us can live a life that is free in someway of being able to but food on our table, get the pills that are needed. This is the USA why can't we help those that are in need why do we send so much money to other countries but will not help this country. It is not fair we need to find a way to make this work for all of us.

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am from Muskegon, MI. I am a single mother looking for a job, although I don't believe I put myself in this situation. When I got married, my husband was working full time as well as attending college for an electrical engineering degree.

Our divorce started after he became physically abusive to me. We had been married for four years and I never saw this coming - I also did not know that he was addicted to crack cocaine until after the divorce was already in process.

I have an Associates degree in Human Services, but in Michigan, the jobs are few and far between. I would love a job working with troubled teens, as I used to be a licensed foster parent and I've always felt as though I had an affinity for it. I've had lots of interviews, but no success. I cannot continue college at this time due to being a single mother with not much resources, although someday I will go back and get my Bachelors, and hopefully go further from there.

My ex hasn't tried to pay child support since October of last year, and it is now July. He also hasn't even tried to see our son since September of last year, although I do view this to be a good thing if he is still addicted.  I am having such a hard time keeping things together without a job. We lost our home to foreclosure and I am living at my mother's. I feel as though my dreams and independence have been put on hold indefinitely. I am in counseling, but counseling doesn't pay bills or even fix my kid's bike.

I have always helped others, from being a foster parent to becoming a volunteer in Pass Christian, Mississippi for two months after Hurricane Katrina. The tides have turned, and I feel as though I have nowhere to turn. I am receiving welfare, but now I am held to their rules and regulations, and I just want my independence back. I think most of all, I just want a job and my ability to make decisions for myself.

Single Mom Needing Help NOW!!!!!
I am a single mother of one child (13). I am currently living with friends but am needing of assistance ASAP. I am unemployed and seeking work where I live has been difficult considering that I dont have my own transportation and I dont have the funds for the city buses. I have on numerous occassions applied for welfare assistance only to be turned down due to the fact that I am living with friends and that they are providing a roof over my head. I have been to food banks, which I am only allowed to receive once a month, and I have applied with the local employment office and temp agencies with no luck. I have no income, no child support, no welfare assistance coming in at all. I have nothing. I have turned to every state ran organization where I live at only to be turned down for everything that I have applied for. I have even tried to get relocated into shelters to see if I could get any type of assistance that way but again, no help their as well. I have been unemployed for 1 year now and I am needing to know if there is someone or some agency out their that can help me to possibly relocate to another state. I am hoping to see if someone can help me and my child relocate to the New Jersey or New york areas or some other type of large city to where I know that I may get the help that I need to get back on my feet, support my child and possibly in the future support myself without help. I know that by relocating somewhere else will cause me to stay in a shelter but I am ok with that as long as I can get the help I need and the work so that I can take care of me and my child. If you or someone you know can assist me, please contact me at:   cu4t@hotmail.com        I am in deseperate need of someones help. Thank You.
